July 22/08

Can't believe haylen is already three months old on the 24th! Just listening to the playlist on this page, reminds me of being preggers!!

he is rolling over, and when i laugh he laughs its the cutest thing ever,,, i just cuddle him every second i can, i cant believe how fast he is growing,,,hes already 16 lbs!!!

He is really the perfect baby, sleeps till 10:30 am goes to bed at 7:30 ..( i know i know he is too perfect:) )

he is teething already, its painful, so i got him really good naturalpathic stuff called "Camilia" by a brand called boiron..it works well

His eyes are still blueish, wondering when they will turn brown....

Still breastfeeding, scared to know what my boobs are going to look like when im done, but i would do anything for my little hayler

God i am totally in love with m,y little sweetpea!

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had Haylen on april 24th, was the most tramatic labor I could imagine.

Was induced after being 11 days overdue, had the prosteglandin gel on the 23rd, and it started to dialte me and around 5 pm on the 23rd i was getting contractions, strong at 1 min apart, this continued for 24 hours!!! my h2o broke , and i was ready to start pushing, but the contractions were so bad, i had to through my all natural birth plan out the window, and got an epidural and pretty much everything eles,....

i was in sooo much pain, i was projectile vomitting, pushing, contracting for another 3 hours, my doctor pooked his head for my first push, and was like, ok call me when its crowing,...so three hours later, two doctors showed up and said i had to have an emergency c-section,...it took 2 hours to get me in, as the or was booked, i felt like i was dying, cause baby was right there, crowing, but was breached,, so as i was screaming down the halls to the or, they gave me another epiduarl, and threw some scrubs at my boyfriend and told him to hurry and put them on... on the operating table, they had about 6 ppl working on me, they actually had to get this little intern to come and help them, they were pushing my baby up back my vagina, through the birth cannal back to my stomach, the bed was like shifting back and forth, i was just looking at my boyfrined as the bed was moving back and forth, and i remember thinking, omg hes not going to make it....then i heard his darling little cry for the first time...

then they took me to the recovery room for 2 hours and i had only held him for 2 seconds...i had to stay in the hospital for 4 days, and my god, it was horrible, not at all like the natural way i had planned it......

BUT he is healthy, and almost 9 lbs and so sweet and beautiful and perfect...now if only he would sleep through the night!!!!!

Hello!

This is my first baby, and we are having a boy! we are going to call him Haylen. I have the most wonderful boyfriend the in the entire world, and I love that we are having a little piece of heaven together.

Haylen~ means hall of Light ....light means all that is good, pure, the very essence of life ....my little prince of light!!

Halen in french means breath....

~you are our breath of life~

When I think of heaven

When I close my eyes I can see you smile, and call out for daddy and I

When I see a little boy walking, I think its an angel showing me the precious gift that I'm going to have soon

When I look at daddy, I see you up on his shoulders, I can see you laughing together, off to build your first tree fort.

When I think of summer, I think of your first marshmellow, the first fire you and daddy make, the first hot dogs we will roast

When I see curls I think of your hair, that will be like daddys, your eyes from the ultrasound haunt me, they were mine. You looked at us and we knew you were really ours

When I need proof of miricles, of live going just right, I think of you

When I dream, i dream of us together forever, the three of us,

When I talk about love, its about the two loves of my life, thats you and daddy

When I think of heaven, I see you there, looking down at us and saying, thats them, thats my mommy and daddy.

love your mommy

daddy and I love you so much already! when we went to your first ultrasound, daddy was teary eyed all the way home, he is so proud of you. already..mommy loves her little roo and is working hard to get everything perfect and ready for you!!! Every time daddy comes home from work, he lovingly touches my tummy and askes how "his little boy is" ...when he tells me he loves to see my tummy grow, I want to cry becuase I am so happy to have you both...!!!We are so lucky that daddy goes out and works for us while we can just rest at home, I can't believe that I am going to get to be with my two favorite boys for the rest of our lives!!! Haylen Francious we love you and cant wait to hold you and look at you for the first time!!

To my little angel,

Daddy and I know you are comming soon, cause you have not much more room to grow!! I know that mommy says that she wants to come out soon, she wants you to be healthy and strong so take your time little one. Last night you were not moving for a few hours, and daddy and I were very scared...then daddy put his ear up to my tummy and heard your heart beat, and then we knew you were ok! Last night we went over to some of daddys friends house, and everyone is so excited to know everything about you, but the sweetest thing is when daddy looks at us from across the room, and even though he doesnt say anything, he is telling us that he loves us so much and will always be there for us. I can hardley wait untill daddy can hold you, cause its just been me and you for so long, and when you meet him, you will know what i know ...that we have been blessed with the best daddy to love in the whole world.

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?' God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.' The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.' Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.' 'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.' 'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.' 'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.' At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.' God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

I have been stressing out for weeks on how the visiting situation at the hospital and home is going to be like...i feel like i have to protect my little angel from germs, slobbery kisses, overbearing relatives and STRANGERS !!! i wasn't sure of how to go about telling ppl what would make me comfortable without being a bitch...so i decided to do it in a martha stewart type way!!:) im going to send out pre-invataions like below....

you are invited to see our new baby soon...

where: hospital, we will call you when...

or at our house a few days later...

we are so excided to share this day with you...here is just a few requests to keep new mommy and baby as happy as two peas in a pod..

Please try to just have a quick hold and stay...mommy and baby are still tired!

Please respect the quiet surrondings

Please wash hands immediatley before touching baby

Please, no smoking or stong perfums or body sprays

and i know its tempting but please no kissing our little angels face untill he is a bit more used to the germs in our world!

We look forward to having you spend this time with us, and thank you for respecting our wishes...

You are right!!! As much as I want her here she needs to cook a little longer--besides our lives are going to change forever!!

As far as ur MIL goes did she ask you if that was OK?? My MIl wants to do the same thing and no one is asking 'Hey..do you mind if I watch her??' i guess they just assume since they are the grandparents that our opinion doesnt matter!! Welp...at least you dont have to put here in daycare!! How soon b4 you go back to work?? Will she be there when you are there cause if so i would tell her to wait so that you can have alone time!!

Good luck with all of that!!

bluebeanz - Tuesday, 18 Mar
Thanks for the sleeping advice. I think it will be easier once I'm done work (2 days to go!) That way I can at least have naps during the day and won't feel too exhausted and overtired... I hope you are doing well! Take care. Sending good baby delivery dust your way. :D

halesss7410 - Tuesday, 18 Mar
Where do you get the tea and the capsules?? I just want things to start happening...I dont want to be overdue and have to be induced at the hospital and I read online yesterday about the pills and tea but i wasnt sure on how to take them. They are safe? I also heard that you can apply the oil pills directly to your cervix--i dont know how you do that but it may be worth trying if it will get things started. Well Addison has been moving great!! I really dont get scared about the movement...I have been having more frequent contractions and it feels like pins and needles sometimes 'down there' i was hoping that it was a sure sign--but nothing- *sigh. He did feel her head though!

To be honest she probably needs at least one more week in there!! haha my house is a complete wreck since the shower!! I need time to clean! TTYL!

my-lil-miracle - Tuesday, 18 Mar
Thanks so much for the comment on my page... I have worked extremely hard to be able to consider myself 'worthy' of having this child and able to raise him... We all make mistakes and I am very glad I have made the majority of them so young and this baby has already matured me so much and made me realise that this life is no longer about what I want... I can't wait for my little boy and to be the best mom I can... Congratulations on your little man as well... only 2 and ahalf weeks until your due date, but hopefully he'll come a little sooner... it's like waiting to open a present you know has been in the closet for 9 months!!

halesss7410 - Monday, 17 Mar
I have been tired at work too!! I had a dr appt today at 11:00am --(not dialated or anything by the way...sux) and after the appt i snuck home and took a 20 min power nap. it was nice. my boss didnt question why i was gone for 2 hrs...haha. i hope i am in the clear!!

the stroller/carseat does have polka dots...i really like it a lot--i wanted something that wasnt too girly so that i could use it again when/if we ever have a boy. plus i am not a big fan of pink!! i honestly didnt have a lot of time to shop around so i guess i registered for it cause it stood out.

i cant wait to go home today and put together the dresser. I am still debating on whether or not i am going to spend 400.00 on the changing table/dresser with the hutch that i want--it seems like a lot of money right now for something that really isnt a necessity --we got a whole lot from the shower but still need a ton of stuff. Hmmm??? what to do???

has your doc told you if you are dialated or anything??? does the raspberry tea really work?? i dont want to go over due!! i am sooo tired of being prego!!

have fun today!

halesss7410 - Monday, 17 Mar
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I had my shower on Saturday...I got so many things I dont know what to do with them!! I got a carseat/stroller from Babiesrus too...i love it--it is orange. I tried to steer away from the pink...but MAN!!that is all that anyone buys is pink!! what is the color for boys that you get a ton of? i bet it is that baby blue!! well i am at work...sux...i have a doc appt at 11:00 he said that he isnt going to check me again til 38 wks or so unless i had a rough weekend but i think he needs to today!! i have felt sharp pains 'down there' and her wiggling 'down there' and my BH arent painless anymore--does that sound like something is happening? I sure hope so!!

lenslik - Friday, 14 Mar
well few weeks ago I was so deserate to have my baby but as it's getting clother I started to freak out. I am so scared, I'm very afraid of any pain, I even have a problem going to the dantist! LOL So, right now, I don't know what I want, to go full term and delay this labor process as long as possible or just go with it quick and forget about it. I'm such a chicken!:)

janamoo - Friday, 14 Mar
thanks girl, its good to hear from someone whos goin through the same thing. i feel like a blimp! my doctor is so not happy with me... lol oh well. i walk 3 miles like 3 times a week and im watching what i eat! what else does he want me to do?? he told me last appointment, 'remember, just because you are hungry doesn't mean you have to eat.' ok... well i thought when you are hungry is when you DO eat! haha i just try to keep myself happy and not let it get me down. it will be over soon right? :) good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! aine - Wednesday, 12 Mar
hey, just read your comment about tearing, im no expert but i have never tore with any of my three and one was 10lbs the midwives told me its because i did as i was told ie...breathed when i had to ...panted when i had to ..and pushed when i had too ...dont know how true this isbut they said alot of woman push when they shouldnt that is why they tear ....i dont know though this conld all be rubbish..good luck anyway x

tashabell - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I don't know if Tasia means anything honestly. I was sitting around the other night and I thought of the name Asia and thought what about putting a T in front of it. So, I kind of made it up. At least I haven't found it in any baby name books just yet. I really love Arabella, too. I might have to incorporate that in there somehow.
I like the name Haylen! Jaylen would be good too, but around here, so many people with that name. I was going for something not so common though.
It's getting so close to time now that I can't decide. I was 3 days old before my mama named me and I don't wanna do that to this baby. I might just wait and see what she looks like before I actually decide on a name. My bf isn't crazy about Shysie though..he likes Tasia alot better, but he isn't too keen on that one either. He wanted to name her Ruby Sioux or Macy. I like them names as well, but they seem kinda old fashioned and too common.
Hopefully, we get it all settled soon enough though. Since this is my first child, I believe that I should have the final say...he already has a daughter from a previous relationship..but he uses the excuse that he wasn't involved in the naming of her either. Her name is Mai, but it'sprounounced like Maya.
Anyways, hope you're doing well and I'll talk to ya soon.
By the way, if ya ever wanna chat besides on here, my yahoo address is tjsxy26@yahoo.com or ya can find me at www.myspace.com/1uniquefreak

halesss7410 - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Haha!! its cool!!

ladobruk - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Re: your post on emergency c-sections & tearing….we were told it depends on the nature of the emergency and if you already have a spinal in (epidural). If it is urgent, you will need to be put under. They really try to avoid that since it takes so much longer to recover from anesthetic and they want you with baby asap.
As for the tearing, there is differing opinions, but it is believed by the nurse it is better to tear naturally rather than getting an episiotomy. It will depend on your wishes and the Dr. doing the delivery.
Personally, I will ask only for an episiotomy to be performed if the baby is in distress and needs to come out immediately, otherwise I want whatever happens naturally to happen. Hopefully it doesn’t tear! I am with you, it sounds so painful!
It is recommended you start perineum massage on that area now to help that area stretch during labor.
So many fun things to consider!
P.S. your belly pic is so cute and little for 8 months!

halesss7410 - Wednesday, 12 Mar
He is 27 yrs old. he is such a great guy. I read on here about these women that have husbands leaving them and man do i feel lucky. i guess a ring and a piece of paper arent everything.

aderyn3 - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I am very against western medicine. (even though I do medical transcription and type it all day long! lol) I don't look at birth as a sickness...it's just a natural part of life that had been going on for thousands upon thousands of years before doctors started to mess it up. Sure, there are times when C-sections are absolutely needed, but I think the current rates are ridiculous! My kids heads threw off the dating ultrasounds. They always put my due dates off because taking into account the head measurement, they moved the dates up, and my kids were all 'late' though almost exact on due date by my LMP. My husband is 6 ft 1 and is a big guy (350/375..our scale doesn't go up high enough.) His friend's mom even teased me about how crazy I was to do a homebirth because the baby would be huge, because of him. I was 6 lb even when I was born, and he was around 7. I think that has alot more to do with it than anything else. My babies have been 6 lb 10, 6 lb 15, and 7 lb 6...so I might finally break 8 pounds with this one. I did not have an episiotomy with any of them. I had an OB with the first, was induced, forced to have an epidural, catheter, and was threatened with a C-section because I was strapped to a bed for 27 hours and they wondered why my labor stalled! I needed just a few stitches with the tear from here. The other 2, I did homebirths, and my midwife does not do episiotomies at all. I didn't even need stitches with the little scratch I got with my second, and probably wouldn't have gotten that if she hadn't had her hand up next to her head. I know I spent alot of time laboring in the tub, and the warm water is supposed to help keep the skin pliable to prevent tears. Warm compresses can also help. I've also read that massaging the perineum with warm olive oil for a few weeks before your due date can help. I know I have seen instructions for perineal massage online before. I've got a friend who gave birth to 9 and 10 pound baby girls vaginally and did fine. One of my cousins has a little boy my son's age, was the same weight (7 lb 6) and had to have a vacuum extraction with a 3rd degree tear because her episiotomy ripped. I think it's got alot to do with the skill of the person doing the delivery. Good luck! Feel free to ask any other questions / concerns you might have!

momagain - Wednesday, 12 Mar
You might me right, but these are some hellafied contractions! What, am I gonna give birth out my butt - LOL!

margysd - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I just went to www.seabuckthorn.com. It is awesome. Thanks again for the link. Take care.

margysd - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for your very thoughtful and detailed message that you posted on my page about stretch marks after birth. A lot of your thinking is similar to mine with the natural ingredients. I have copied the links that you sent me and have bookmarked them. These tips are so important for our mental wellbeing. Take care.

lorrtt24 - Wednesday, 12 Mar
Thank you so much for the words of advice. About the 'prince charming' and all. That helps me focus on what I need to do. You are right. It is not what I want- to be in a relationship with a self-oriented person. Its very hard to love a person who doesnt love you back. Life goes on Huh?.... Well I hope you have a good pregnancy and god bless. Thanks.

pregnantme - Wednesday, 12 Mar
I am scared. I think that's only normal. I just keep telling myself that women do it every day. LOL I guess I'm as ready as i will ever be. =) I'm kinda freaking out about having to take care of someone for life. Making sure you feed them well (no junk food even though thats easy), teaching them, etc... Do I sound crazy? LOL I always wanted kids but now that its real i'm so scared. I don't want to be one of these lazy parents. I guess this is God's plan so I will let him lead me.

jacquichan - Tuesday, 11 Mar
so frustrating. Even Marks mom gets on him about it. My mom did when we first got pregnant but she doesn't now. But it is good to hear his mom say and diamonds are nice....girls like diamonds, i've always wanted a daughter in law... i guess it'll happen when he is ready. i was really hoping as a gift when the baby was born as his birthstone but now that is going to change! I was really pushing that too.

pregnantme - Tuesday, 11 Mar
Hi. I was just reading a comment you posted on a friend's site. I've had some pretty scary bf's too. LOL Now I couldn't be happier with my new guy. My mom is in the middle of her divorice. My father ended up telling her that he was gay the day before i moved out of the state. Man can be such assholes. they were married for 12 years. I'm glad to hear how happy you are now. (That's all that matters) Congrats on your upcoming little one. I pray that all goes well. God Bless
