Sunday, 31 August oh no don't worry. the reason it hurt me was because it took her 20 minutes to put it in. they tried this new device thats just like a foley bulb but it has two bulbs that get inflated. one that goes on the inside of the cervix and one that goes on the outside. and it was the first time she used one of those so don't worry. she put it in right after she did a membrane sweep also. canuck -

Thursday, 21 August don't worry about the no progress...My sister in law had a baby last year...She never dropped, wasn't dilated, barely effaced. One day she woke up fine..she went for a walk and out of no where she went into labor. 6 hours later (that's including 3 hours of pushing) she had her baby. Before you know it he/she will be here. good Luck devonp -
Wednesday, 20 August Its so hard to say what I should do my doctor doesn't seem to be to concerned about it she said I can wait or I can be seen she told me the hospital is open all the time nice right I don't know what to do if I should go or not I guess its the waiting game at this point. ang -

Monday, 18 August saw your comment and i'd advise to go get it checked out. on my last my water broke at 7 months and i was sure it couldn't have been my waters, so just waited and mentioned it at my next appointment and they did internal and it was my waters. i was lucky i hung on til 37 weeks then got induced but now i know if you think it could be that at all just go get it checked. once they go your open to infection, well the baby is. peanutsmommy1 -

I hope your pregnancy is going really well! take care! knockduppp -

Monday, 30 June I am being induced because I am a smaller woman and my baby is coming up on 10 pounds...if he gets much bigger I may not be able to have him naturally which is what I want. My doctor didn't expect him to get this big and the level of my discomfort and the lack of movement from my baby is starting to become a worry. He wouldn't do it until 39 weeks...I guess here in AZ there are laws or regulations about inducing and stuff. It is not something I planned...I am not having contractions and nothing is really happening to indicate that I am close so I guess he just figured lets just get him out before we have to do it surgically. arykh24 -
Thursday, 29 May that is crap. it is YOUR baby and you are the one paying for the ultrasound. I would demand to know! mommynicolem -
Thursday, 29 May That stinks. Although it sucks, and I would be flipping out, you only have around 3 months left, if nothing changes in your pregnancy. You might just need to go crazy on your doc's ass! I WANT TO KNOW!! TELL ME NOW OR I'M NOT LEAVING!!!!!!!!!! hahaha. mommynicolem -
Thursday, 29 May You poor thing! I would tell you to lie and just go to the hospital, saying you haven't felt the baby or you're cramping or something...But, that doesn't guarantee an ultrasound. And if your MD is refusing to send you, which is just crappy IMO, then you're probably out of luck unless something goes wrong. Which, for you and baby's sake, I hope doesn't happen. But, if you get high blood pressure, something pretty easily dealt with, they'll have to do ultrasounds. They'd have to check your fluid levels and make sure baby is ok. Cross your fingers for a touch of high BP! :) But, only a touch! arykh24 -
Thursday, 29 May have you not had an ultrasound at all?? If you call into your dr and tell them that the baby isn't moving as much as it should be, they will give you one. mommynicolem -
