I posted my birth story in the blog, also under his link. I won't be able to get on here all too much because I have no time right now. We're having some issues with nursing (as I'm in a TON of pain) and also, he doesn't always want to nurse from me. He left the hospital weighting 6lbs 8oz. Otherwise, we're doing okay. As soon as I get a spare moment, I'll be replying to everyone and redoing my page to now accomodate my kids!! ;0)

Hope you're all doing well and all the November babies have started making their way into this world. Thank you all for your well wishes!! I really appreciate them!

I wanted to Thank everyone that responded to my "glucose issue". It is so nice to know that others have gone through the same stuff or possibly could. This site is great when you want to hear people that can relate to your life. Its really nice. But on a good note...I passed, so no GD.

Thanks hun. Having her in my arms finally makes everything worth while! I tried to labour naturally this time. My waters broke on her due date, started contractions, but then they went. So they induced me the next day and I made it to 9cms dilated when they examined me, but then told me she was brow presentation and stuck and that there was no way I could deliver her naturally. So cross they didn't realise sooner that she was stuck.

We're doing great now thanks though, we're only just getting to know each other because we were apart for so long whilst she was in intensive care - that was so hard.

I'm loving every minute of her and so grateful for the precious gift I've been given. Will post some pics soon.

ahhhh! i know same here..the love handels hang over my jeans too. i was thinking about going to buy some bigger ones too but only one pair. i went from a size 9 to 16. i gained in my hips mostly blah! you dont even look like you went to a size 12.

i go back to work December 8th. i dont know how im going to leave him

. lol! yeah i feel like i just had him. time needs to slow down just a little bit.

Lexie - Skye was born on 5th November at 6.35am weighing 8lb 2oz. She was born by emergency caesarean section under general anaesthetic. When she was born she wasn't breathing. It took 7 minutes to get her breathing again and she had to be put on a ventilator. Because she was starved of oxygen, they were worried she might have some brain damage and transferred her for treatment at Nottingham Intensive Care. She wasgiven a treatment called 'cooling' for 3 days which helps to cool her brain. Lots of tests were done and none showed any worrying signs, but oly time will tell whether any damage was done.

Anyway, we have finally been allowed home now, we're both doing well, and she is doing all the things a new baby should, with no signs of any problems - so fingers crossed that she has been lucky.

I'm going to post my long, long, long birth story when I get a chance and also put some pics up to show everyone my beautiful new girl!

yeah mine is like jello too! i have to wear tight tank tops too. and jeans i have one pair of jeans that kind of fit me but not all that well. im hoping these 30 pounds wont be hard to lose.

awww! thanks he is getting so big so fast! he turned a month old today. yeah the bfing didnt work but then again i am going back to work after all so i dont know how that would work anyway. hahaha! yeah it is very trying but you can do it!

Im doing pretty good. I had my regular check up today and Im doing great...No diabetes...YEAH! my weight is perfect..gained 13 lbs so far..Which means I can afford a few extra pounds during Turkey Day:) LOL ..But he's doing great. Im really excited to see him. Im trying to take it day by day, and right now I seem to forget Im prego sometimes...Finals are coming up in school and semester ends the 6th...so Im craming all that crap. Then the holidays tend to keep me busy.

So do you know if they have that band anywhere else? What is it like, is it different than the bands they put in mat. jeans? Im sooooo getting one:) I had the same problem with our daughter I didnt lose the weight until she was like 16 months or so....So tell me your secrets:)

Your little one is SO adoreable! How are you feeling now that he is here....better I hope! I have all the complaints of a typical pregnancy, but yours seemed much worse ....makes me feel bad for complaining! Well, hope all is well.... enjoy your little ones!

We are still in the process of getting ready. I think we have all the baby stuff we need, at least for a few weeks. His room is almost finished, even though he will be in our bedroom for several months. I have to have a c-section because of a previous major abdominal surgery I had many years ago.

Yes, I am definitely getting close to the 10 weeks countdown! In fact, I am supposed to have a scheduled c-section on January 30th, so it really is coming up fast! Can't wait to have my little bundle, just like you! Asher is just the cutest thing!

I was the same way about cringing when my son wanted to eat. It gets better, I promise! Have you tried using nipple cream too?

Im doing good. I am so in love with my lil man. I didnt know that it was possible to love him as much as I do. He amazes me everyday.

So ..I had my glucose test today...Not bad. I remember it being okay with our daughter and this time was the same. I got the orange flavor..yum!! LOL But wierd part about it was how I felt about 30 minutes after. It went down fine and everything but 30 minutes later I felt light headed and really wierd. The nurse told me its a "sugar rush" . I hated the feeling! So on the way homw I started to get lightheaded and hot flashes and felt REALLY wierd. Almost like I was gonna pass out. So I got home quickly and raced into the house to get food in me. But I barely was even able to do it. So I reheated some rice and chicken from lastnight and got the plate and started SHOVING food into my mouth. Once my food got down I felt perfect. I was also shoving 3...yes 3....granola bars into my mouth while my food was reheating. I also ate lots!

Has anyone else experienced a wierd reaction to the drink?

Also when she was drawing my blood I felt a "release" sensation from feeling lightheaded. She said it is almost like a release of the sugar out of my body...

What have been your reactions to the drink?
