I was worried so much as well. I still do but not as much. The ultrasound lady said to me not to worry because a lot of things that do happen are out of our control and not our fault. It is too bad that being mothers that we always feel responsible when actually we are not. I guess that is a part of being good mommies. I am sure you will be fine. Remember all of the technology and in this day in age everything is so much better and they will take extra percautions with us to ensure we will be alright. Try to relax while you can. Soon all we will be hearing is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Take care hon! :)

I don't have any of the numbness, but yeah the swelling is ridiculous after being on your feet for just half an hour. I had braxton hicks contractions lasy night that were nearly constant for over an hour. I paced the first half hour then tried some pelvic tilts down on all fours. That did seem to help temporarily, but as soon as I sat back up......... I hope things start to calm down for you. I'm doing everything to avoid bed rest now bec casue my teenagers have all their end of year concerts and things for school. Although they would totaly understand, I'd hit to miss it all.

My goodness! Why is your doctor saying this to you? Don't listen to him. Think about the days when women would have many babies at home with no epidural or anything and had great success rates. My grandmother had 12 kids and my other grandmother had 9. Enjoy the pregnancy. Don't be scared. Let your last weeks be at ease. Iwas afraid of a lot too. My doctor kept telling me to relax everything will be alright. I am now almost 36 weeks and I can't believe I made it this far. All the best to you and your family! :)

I was just reading your comment on the twin board and wanted to let you know to not worry. I had 4 children in 6 years and then I got pregnant with twins. I gave birth 4 weeks ago and had NO problems what-so-ever with hemorraging! I was induced and delivered Twin A breech which also increases the risks of bleeding. I recovered faster from this delivery than I did some of my other one. hopefully it eases your mind :-)

I have been on ranitidine twice a day for the last 3 months and although it does ease the heartburn , it is still horrendous at night , i have found that the best thing for it is vanilla milkshake from macdonalds it works a treat and if you just sip it slowly it usually stays down . plus there are loads of calories in it which is great for the babies , it might be worth a go.

hi. i am having boy girl twins too. this will make 5 for me and my husband as well. my oldest is 15 so we are not far off. its nice to know i am not the only one ready to get my body back and be done with the pregnancy. then i feel one of them get the hiccups or taking practice breaths and i remember this is the last time i will feel this. it lasts for a minute then i am back to the enuff already phase!

I was wondering what had happened to you... Glad to see that your back... I completely understand the blues... I'm tired, fat, the kids are having a soccer game in my tummy and it hurts to sit, stand, lay down and just plain walk... Hope your feeling better in the days to come.. Take Care..
