Hi! I am 44 years old and am expecting baby number 7 in May. So far everything is looking okay, but I am scared because I have lost 8 since the birth of my daughter in 2001. I am having to change doctors mid-stream due to insurance issues so have not seen a doctor since 12 weeks and that makes me very nervous!

November 27, 2007 - Found out we are having a little girl! Very excited! Had the sonogram at the perintologist and all looks good! We are considering naming her Michaela as this means gift from god

It was tough! We tried paint, no go. We did playdo, but the artist couldn't get enough detail and suggested we go the RCMP and pick up a child find kit and use the fingerprint ink. It worked like a charm. It doesn't smudge like paint and I immediately washed her hand after and it didn't stain. We put her in her high chair and I pressed the strip all over her hand, my husband distracted her and I quickly rolled her hand on paper from the bottom of her palm to her finger tips.
And of course, we added her finger tips to the kit and a hair sample. If the unimaginable happened, you take the kit to the RCMP detachment and they have her fingerprint and DNA from the hair. Hopefully it will never need to be used. Check with the police in your area to see if they have something similiar.
