I took milk of magneisa the other night. It's not a stimulant laxative so it doesn't cause the cramps which are supposed to cause the contractions. So of course I felt nothing with it. I am also joggin in place at home!

Let me know how the pineapple works for you. I read you have to eat 7 whole, fresh pineapples for it to do anything. I don't really care for pineapples but at this point I just might eat 7 of them!!

Baby starts out at +3, then +2, +1.... then at 0 they are engaged, then go -1, -2, -3. Your baby is the lowest he needs to get for labor, according to my birthing class instructor. I saw a documentary on tv that said -5 was the lowest rather than -3, but regardless your baby is dropped down in there for sure if doc is saying -3.

-3 means your baby is far down into your pelvis! I'd say you are close too based on what I learned in childbirth classes!! 0 would mean the baby is engaged, +1, 2, or 3 means the baby is not yet into the pelvis. -1, 2, and 3 means the baby is dropping further into the pelvis.

Oh my gosh!! that's awesome... she's getting ready to come out already!! did ur doc give u an "approximate" time frame, likeu know sometimes they say "within a week"... I am hoping i am dialated.. got a dr.'s appointment tomorrow... I'm so happy Sam is back from sea today and i'm going to be spending the next few weeks over at his place (while we are looking for a place for me to live)... I can't wait... it will be great if I am at his house when i go into labor... i know he will freak out a little though, because the ONE contraction that i had around him he was kind of feraking out ..lol... so funny... sometimes i think about just faking labor to see him flop around!! j/k.... but make sure u let me knwo when u go into labor and send me pics of ur little princess too!!

Hi there, thanks for your messages. Yeah, I would definitely rather go naturally, I just hope she doesn't hold out too long! If I go past my due date I think I'd rather be induced than go up to 2 weeks late. Oh, and speaking of my Sis in law.... I got a call last night that she wants to go out for her birthday on May 4. My MIL actually asked me if I thought I'd be around on May 4 to go. (EDD is 5/3) Now what kind of question is that??? Wouldn't I just love to know the answer! lol Anyhow, I'm hoping baby decides to arrive before then so I don't have to go!

I don't mind it so much if I am NOT that tired. I hate it when I am so exhausted and just can't get comfortable enough to sleep. Hopefully this will be over soon for all of us and we all have happy, healthy babies!!

I know what u mean about being tired of being stared at... I get self concious esp. because i get stared at most when i am by myself on the trolley or bus... like, people dont even try to hide it! first they look at the belly, then the left ring finger (and find no ring there, and i know because of the area i live in that they think something like "oh, there's another pregnant teen whose life is now ruined")... pisses me off... i get comments like "r u having twins" and of course the "boy/girl, due date, weight,excited/nervous' questions... these don't bother me as much, but the constant staring at the belly kind of annoys me a lot... I know i'm big... damn!!! well i went to the mall too today, i saw a comedy movie "superhero movie"... all by myself, but i don't care, i needed some me time.... i know i can't wait to get out of this house, but will probably not have any internet or cable... so that will suck, but i will work on that... my butt hurts and my hips are weighed down... also i'm having some contractions, but i think it's just my mucous plug coming out, gross i know but i'm checking it constantly and there's always something there on the tissue??? hopeur feeling okay... i know what u mean about wanting ur babe to come naturally on her own and just not have to deal with any medical intervention.... oh, and at least go to the dr.'s to get ur cervix and dialation checked, seeing as now ur about to be week 38 so they will do that standard now even at the stingiest dr.'s offices...

hey how've u been??? I'm happy because it has cooled down like 20 degrees over here... Oh my gosh... I went to the movies to day (just me on the bus and trolley)... I saw the "SuperHero Movie" and it was cheap laughs I guess... then I was thinking to myself "damn, this is probably going to be the last solo "me time" for a WHILE!!!"... scary thought.... how's little Alayna?? hope she's doing good.. I know ur probably being busy "nesting" or getting all her things ready and organized... good luck with that... OH GUESS WHAT??? I"m moving the hell out of this little hell'whole house in the next few weeks... I can't freakin' wait... Janet went crazy on me the other night cussing and slamming damn doors all over and telling me stupid bullshit and I'm like "fuck that, I'm out of here".... I can't deal with her... and I know she'll regret having been such a bitch when she doesn't have the money to pay her mortgage due to the fact that there will be some time before she finds another roomate.. oh well... she shouldn't have been such a damn bitch and stress me out so damn much....

lol, so get this. after i went home i ate, took a nap etc. the pain starting getting pretty bad around midnight or so and i wasn't sure if it was contractions or like gas or something, bc i was all paranoid after being sent home. anyway so at 1:30 i called the dr on call and told her what was up. she said i would know if i was in labor and it was prob just my cervix thinning out. she told me to take 2 tylenol and go back to bed. so i tried. 3:30 i couldnt take it anymore so i went back to the hospital. 4 am they check me, im 7 cm dilated 100% effaced. haha. so i was in labor. i got an epi and then they finally had to break my water at 9:30. started pusing at 9:54, and he was born at 10:33. not too bad for my first baby! lol. anyway just though i'd share. i hope you are doing well!
