M.M.Masi - Sunday, 30 Mar Thanks. I put the rest of my ideas up on my page.
You look so much like my best friend. It's wierd. lol
milmom2be - Saturday, 29 Mar Thanx 4 that, I am still not sure if I will go in, I might call, I just feellike a big whiner, but I'm still worried, I kno, I am awfully indecisive today. But thank you for your response, it makes me feel better about going in.
M.M.Masi - Saturday, 29 Mar No, i'm not planing on letting them know. 1. I don't want everyone to get there hopes up that they are going to get the g.c. 2. I don't want to persuade ppl to buy me diapers I want it to be a little extra that they feel comfortable contributing. On another note, instead of waisting time and money on center pieces I've come up with the idea of placing a basket with plain onesies in the middle of the table with fabric markers and having the guests decorate a onesie for the babies. This way they are entertained and I get to keep the much needed onesies.
thank you for the comment..it's from starwars, but we just loved the name so much that we did not care that it is originally from there..it's unique and cute and a princess'name..haha..we call her lola a lot of times..any idea what your little one will be called..good luck you are almost there..enjoy..love t
xxyummymummyxxmo - Saturday, 29 Mar heya hun im the same lately ive been soo....thirsty no matter how much i drink im stil dehydrated!!i think shes going to be a seriously hungry baby lol!congrats x
my-lil-miracle - Saturday, 29 Mar Hey, unquenchable thirst was a sign of GD for me, but I don't think dehydration is... I think GD just makes you want to drink water so much because your body is trying to flush out the extra glucose... I had those classes today and I have already started pricking my finger which is not that bad... I'm still mad about eating little things all day.. I like to eat to big meals a day and nothing else, apparently that helped get me into this GD thing... so how u feeling other then the dehydration?? is little Luke making you chase him around to no end or what? Make sure you keep drinking the water girl.. are your feet swollen??? I know it just recently started to get hot over here within the past week or week and a half, so if it's the same in Texas then that could also be a reason... really watch that and force yourself to keep the fluids going to keep the amniotic fluid up to par... Okay, girl... Sam comes back tonight!!yah.. he's picking me up and I'm going to his house and then the baby shower is tomorrow so we'll come and be surprised!! (their throwing the shower at my house so it kind of would have sucked if I was here while they were putting up the decorations.. ya know?)... how's your MIL doing with your party? still headstrong?...
metalstar83 - Saturday, 29 Mar My doc says that a pregnant woman needs to drink more water especially toward the end of her pregnancy due to increased blood volume and the need to get rid of increased waste products from the baby, etc. I drink plenty of fluids, but it doesn't seem enough!
Princesslocke - Friday, 28 Mar I know how you feel..I feel big and soooo uncomfortable:( Plus we are moving this weekend, so that makes it even worse..but at least I can get Kylers nursery down this week!!!! YAY! Lets see..with my first son Chris..I was 36 weeks, and he weighed 6 pds 15 ounces..then my second son Ayden was premature, so I had him at 31 weeks and he was only 3pds 15 ounces..then my third son Dylen..he was born at almost 38 weeks and he weighed 6 pds 12 ounces...so lets hope this one will be in the 6 pounder range too..lol How about you with your boys?
stphnhuerta - Friday, 28 Mar I would of wrote back sooner but this website seems to be acting really weird. Anyhow, thanks for being able to relate. I can't wait to have the baby so I can be done being a psycho. LOL
my-lil-miracle - Friday, 28 Mar Hey, I was so pissed today, the site was down from my computer!! I was so mad, it was unreal...:) ... It's back up though now...
Princesslocke - Thursday, 27 Mar OMG..are you getting as frustrated as me?? I feel huge, and it makes it worse that I have to chase my little one around all the time...cant we just be done already>> lol
stphnhuerta - Thursday, 27 Mar Love the family photo. I am so grateful that they are willing to induce. WIth my first son I delivered on my exact due date and he was 8lbs 9oz, 21 1/2inch long. Because this is my second and three weeks ago my ultrasound detected baby Noah was weighing 5lbs 2oz the doctor didnt want to take any chances of me having another big baby especially since I do it vaginally with no meds. OH did I mention my husband is a giant.LOL Im 5'1 and hes 6'3. GOod luck to you. Where do you live in texas im from the valley.
my-lil-miracle - Thursday, 27 Mar sorry, I don't know where I thought I saw twin at???... but regardless sisters!!
my-lil-miracle - Thursday, 27 Mar At first I didn't even think about inviting her because I knew she wouldn't come... Then my Dad told me I should because if I don't then she'd have one more reason to be mad at me (funny how that works huh?)... anyways Yeah I sent an invite out to her but she's not coming... big freaking suprise!
my-lil-miracle - Thursday, 27 Mar Yeah, I hope so.. also Sam and I are getting the basinette and carseat/stroller this weekend, which I 'm freaking overjoyed about.. DO u have ur little girls bed yet?? Is she sharing a room with you guys? My boy of course will be sharing a room, but hopefully soon i'll get somewhere he can have his own room
andptyof6 - Thursday, 27 Mar Well here is a tip that can scare your doc. I see a homeopath and they use all kinds of herbs and stuff to bring on labor. I was truly in pain with my last pregnancy though due to scar tissue from a previous abdominoplasty. So I ended up going crazy from discomfort and told my doc if he didn't take this baby out of me i would and i was going to use primrose oil to ripen my cervix and take blue and black cohashe tea to bring on the contractions. And oh boy did he freak out and tell me no no that is so dangerous because its not regulated and controlled. It got his attention in a hurry and he ordered me to have an amnio. If i would have waited until i was 37 weeks he said he would have induced me with out an amnio but i was in too much pain. I am in pain again so he is taking this one early to. I go in tomorrow and we'll see. We are taking everything one week at a time. With your case anything after 37 weeks they should just induce you. Good luck i hope you doc will work with you..
professorpreggers - Thursday, 27 Mar Mine was going to be at a restaurant until she started telling me that we needed to put her mother center stage as the gr grandma and that she was buying tiaras for her and that we needed a cake for her etc. She just has a way of making her and her family the center of attention and I'm soooo tired of it. I moved it to another relative's house (still her family mind you) with a big back yard on the edge of the bay and she's really mad because she doesn’t like this family member at all (I happen to be close to her) so now she's pouting and doesn’t want anything to do with the shower—which is fine. At my wedding she bought favors I never wanted but I was forced to use them, she stole my father daughter dance song—pitched a fit really until I just let her have it out of desperation. I cancelled the reception three times over her antics, so this time, with the baby shower, I’m just not putting up with any of it!!! Yay me!
andptyof6 - Wednesday, 26 Mar yeah this is my 4th. My last pregnancy i was in a lot of pain and very sick the entire time. I ended up going crazy at the end and told the doc if he didn't induce me i was going to break my own water. He ordered an amnio and lungs were developed so i had him the next day but it all ended with an emergency c. His hand was stuck over his face coming through the birth canal so they feared he would have broke the bones in his face if i would have delivered him. I think if you have a history of big babies they should take baby at least a couple weeks early. Their is no need to continue your pregnancy when your delivering these beasts! I would keep trying to get them to take it early! Good luck. Now im freaking out though. I have 2 weeks and my doc wants me to have another c-section. So i just watched one on the internet. I think im going to go crazy. That looks so scary to me!
april - Wednesday, 26 Mar Thank you! You have a great looking family, are you excited to add a little girl to the mix? You will finaly have someone on your side...lol :0)
boysmom07 - Wednesday, 26 Mar Hi there you are getting close now are you excited?
andptyof6 - Wednesday, 26 Mar Yeah for some odd reason i create big babies. I am a very small person and i don't eat preservatives or any animal products completely organic- yet i produce monters!! My biggest was 10'3 at 41 weeks. The best part is the ultrasound the day before she was born confirmed 7 1/2 lbs!!!
So this is your baby #4 too! How is it going for you being your 4th time? Do you know what you are having?
I feel like im so tired of being pregnant. I have felt this way since about week 20!
professorpreggers - Wednesday, 26 Mar haha--I hope for your sake you deliver early then! I told my MIL absolutly no games whatsoever, especially that one where they measure the belly--who ever thought of that game has a really poor sense of humor! I insisted on a couples shower, with an open bar because I knew it would eliminate a lot of the estrogen fed nonsense that goes on in these things at which point she told me she wasn't paying for my shower anymore. Yay! Now she's calling and telling my hubby that she's hurt and left out. Arrrgh!
