Friday, 18 April hahaha I feel for ya!! Hopefully yours will come soon!! my-lil-miracle -
Friday, 18 April My estimation is that you'll be in labor over the weekend and have her by Monday... I know what u mean about wanting to just lose some damn weight already!! don't worry though, you'll drop at least 12 pounds or more instantly after you deliver with all that baby and amniotic fluid!! I hope i don't look super preggo even after i deliveEr,... i know that it takes a week or so for ur uterus to get smaller.... I'm so grossed out right now, Sam is at work since yesterday morning (Duty) so i slept here alone last night and i woke up and there was ants crawling on the bed by my pillow and then i just pick them off of me now.. ewwww... idon't know why the ants are there, they have never been there before... it's weird'cause their just on the side i was sleeping on... and we don't eat on the bed.... gross!! Hot weather is the culprit probably!! Ellebelly -
Friday, 18 April Hi. I'm 34 years old & 23 weeks pregnant with my first child. Have only just felt it move which is exciting but a strange feeling. I can't wait for August 12th when he or she is due. not looking forward much to the birth itself tho. a little scared. kbabynumber3 -
Friday, 18 April I have had the SAME THING! I asked my doctor about it- the other day I was SURE I was going to have him- the BHs were really strong and it lasted from 2-6 in the morning, then suddenly stopped! I was so mad. She said that it is because this is my 3rd baby- that BHs get stronger the more kids you have- not fair! I see you have 3 boys now a girl- congratulations! Your family is beautiful! Fingers crossed for the full moon! my-lil-miracle -
Friday, 18 April lol... i heard about the full moon bit... I want MY BABY NOW, but i can't have him now (on my schedule!!) i need to get things set up and confirmed first... it will be hard enough to move into someone new and get necesary things while i'm freakin 38 weeks preggo, but i know it will be SO MUCH harder to do it with a baby in one had and stiches in my epesiotomy!! So i'm pretty worried about my iron, like really scared kind of... i've always been a little anemic, then i got preggo and it dropped a lot, at about 24 weeks they put me on one iron and one prenatal pill a day, then a few weeks ago increased it to 2 irons and 1 prenatal, and now it's 3 irons and 1 prenatal a day... I get scared, though because i know that during birth i will need at least 1 blood transfusion, but i'm just scared about AFTER the birth, I know i'll still take the iron and stuff, but i also know it's like a heavy flow period every day for a while after you deliver, so i really worry about that... The dr. tripped me out today telling me to take 3 freaking irons a day and the prenatal... that is gona' mess my stomach up more then ever, but she said "don't worry, we'll get u on a stool softener too!!" yay.... Do u bleed a lot with a vaginal delivery?? isn't the bleeding only from like capilaries busting during pushing?? I don't know, but i'm a little freaked out... I gotta' be up and around not snow white and brusing!!! well, that's frusterating about the contractions ur having, but at least ur having "real" ones... i don't know if some of mine have been b.h. or what, but this whole thing is new to me... anyways ur getting induced on the 27th if u haven't gone into labor already, so that's not too bad for you.. do the 10 day countdown!! or 9 now i guess... i still have a few weeks... i'm actually hoping that he comes on the 24th because that would be convenient for me... it's so funny i got another u/s today and they always at every u/s aske me "do u know what ur having?" and i'm always like "yeah, a boy"... but they always feel obligated to print out a pic of his manhood and give it to me!!! i have like 4 u/s pics of his wee wee... lol... poor baby, he just puts it all out there.. I think that's so weird they say that it's harder to tell the sex the farther along u are, but he's always showing his... it was so cute today he was doing the "open/closing hand"thing... you know how baby's do that??? looks like their waving, but their really just grasping?? well he was doing that with his perfect little hand, i also saw his profile again but then he started touching his face with his cute little fingers, so that's it.,... I don't think he weighs as much as they estimated... Well, hope tonight brings on labor for you!! isn't it funny how at 16 weeks we were delighted about feeling the first kick, then at 20 weeks about the first u/s then at 22 or so about getting maternity clothes, then 28 we were entering the 3rd trimester (the longest trimester might i add), then at 37 we're like "yay, we're full term now!" and these last few weeks we're like "damn, is s/he done baking yet??? i can't do this much longer!!" amyj -
Friday, 18 April OMG Girl...you can't sleep like me!!!! We are dog sitting for my BIL (since November!!!) and that dog is going to be the death of me howling at night waking me up!!!
Love your shower photos! It looks like you received tons of goodies!!!! That is great that your kids and hubby got to join in the fun!
Wow!! You are plugless!! Nothing going on here !!
I am just ready for Wednesday! I saw Rowe today and he said I can go anytime. Kennedy's head is way low!! Harrison has a baseball tournament this weekend at the Field of Dreams that i do not want to miss..so I need to hold out!! My last day of work is today! My hubby will start working from home Tuesday and be off for two weeks. He will probably just have to drive to TC every once in awhile. He has never been away from his business that long..so we will see if he can stay away!
I hope you go early so we are in the hospital at the same time!!! THINK 23rd!!!!! Rowe said if we want to go early then we need to "get busy"!!
Can you believe our girl's are almost here????!!!! littleone2008 -

Friday, 18 April LOL @ your comment! I really want to since he advise me against, I'm having a C- Section on Thursday and he does not want me to labor if possible, BUT since I know he think ssex will bring it on, I'm thinking SHOWTIME!!! my-lil-miracle -
Friday, 18 April I sent u a text a little bit ago 'cause sam's damn internet was down for a minute, but anyways, i hope ur plug loss means something too, i'm pretty sure it does, ur so far along and ur already dialted at at least 2, so I think it's coming soon.... One girl on here got her membranes stripped (I think that's the same thing as mucous plug stripped) and she went into labor that night!!! she also had a quick labor and delivery and it was only her 2nd child... so i would definetly say there's hope for you too!!! I think she was 2cm dialted at thetime too.... so i had my exam, and i'm "at least 1cm dialted"... so I think that means "more then one, less then two", so I'm going with 1 and 1/2 :) ... also 25% effaced, not sure what that means, but i know the higher percentage effaced the closer u r to delivery! so also his little chest/shouldiers are normal size!! ( GD babies can be "big babies", but this means their chest and sholdiers are bigger then their head which can cause problems with vaginal delivery 'cause the head comes out then the sholdiers don't really fit and usually babies can end up with a broken collar bone from the doc pulling them out, cause what else are u supposed to do when the head's out??? ya know??? so i'm really releived about his size now... also the doc told me he may be less then 7 lb.'s 12 oz. right now because I have A LOT of amniotic fluid, i guess GD people make more amniotic fluid for some reason, but she said that it doesn't hurt the baby, so whatever... I was measuring 41 weeks (fundus height) she said that could be due to the amniotic fluid.... Man, I was at that damn NST for 1hour and 1/2.... that sucked... He was dead asleep and they couldn't get the heart beat in one place and he just didn't want to wake up for anything, I felt so bad because they have this little "buzzer" thing, that they put on my belly and it makes a loud noise and a slight vibration, so they did this to make him wake up and it sucked because he jumped so much i was sad he got so freaked out.... then he just went back to sleep so they buzzed him again on his HEAD!!! i was sad, but my dad was laughing... not funny to me though.... No one told me how uncomfortable that an internal exam is.. i feel like she violated me !!lol... but it was really uncomfortable, So when i'm like 3 or 4 cm is it still gonna' be only one finger going up there or 3 or 4??? damn, i know that's nothing compared to the baby who will be coming out, but lordie, i don't want her whole hand up there..... hope ur in the hospital right now having ur baby girl!!! Friday, 18 April YES! I certainly will! You too...keep me posted on how you're feeling...I'm still contracting. :0) my-lil-miracle -
Thursday, 17 April Hey, i slept like 4 hours last night...pooo... I'm over at Sam's house now and it sucks because as much as i love him, i can't sleep comfortably with him.... I think I do have sciatica in my left hip, it hurts like a bitch, so I'll talk to the dr. about that today... so I have an appt. and NST today and I thought I was maybe going into labor last night but I don't think the contractions were painful enough? they were often and regular for a while though... then I fell asleep and they would wake me up a few times... so I am really hoping to get checked for progress.... Sam has 1 1/2 days on 1/2 days off of work this week, but I don't care I'm staying at his place... I'm hopefully going to get off welfare, (please god!!)... Sam will probably do alotments while he's out at sea, and that's awesome for me and the baby... Sam and I are going to check out some other places for me to live tomorrow... it's exciting and bad/good timing.. bad because we're so rushed to get everything done and taken care of but it's good because Sam is moving out of his aprtment (dont think i would like living here by myself with a newborn because it's just kind of scary here sometimes)so it's good because he can just give me his furniture and tv. and things so he doesn't have to deal with storage... good for me... I can't wait for things to be "set up" already... just want a place to call "home" for longer then 5 months. jen943 -
Thursday, 17 April Regarding my last post here, if you go to that website and either scroll down about 3/4 of the page after it loads or do press "control" and "f" on your keyboard and type in "measuring labor in centimeters" - that will take you to the chart that shows the stations. jaimee1185 -
Thursday, 17 April yes we are both doing well now. the little man had jaundice at birth, so our 2nd day in the hospital he had to be put on a photoelectric blanket and under a lamp so i could only hold him every 3 hours at feeding time. his levels did not go down so he had to stay last night and i had to go home, it really sucked! but he is home now and we are all very happy. he is just a little guy, he weighed 6pds 6oz and was 19". how are you feeling????
