I have a boy that is 4 months old. This is my first child and I can say it is the most wonderful thing in the world. I love being a mother. I am greatful to only be working part time. I am working weekends so my husband can be home with him. It is great to beable to spend all week with him. I am breastfeeding and hope to for a year. It was a struggle in the beginning because he wouldn't latch on properly for almost 2 months. He is breastfeeding great and I am glad I stuck it out. It is a great bonding experience that only a mother and her child can share. But I also understand those who choose not to breastfeed. It is a personal choice.

Monday, 6 October Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com
Hi there,
I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.
We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.
If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.
You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Monday, 10 Mar We just started, tomorrow will be our 3rd class. He's 7 months and so far he has only done 1 sign. The teacher said all babies are different so some learn it fast while others take a while to pick it up. The best thing to do is pick a couple of signs that interest your baby the most and do those til your baby picks it up. Terah -
Monday, 10 Mar I just do a few words to help them communicate without getting frustrated. They recommend starting at around 8 months. You can do some internet searches to get more information about it. dannell -
Monday, 10 Mar We do sign language classes and my son loves it. It doesn't slow down their speech,it actually helps them develop it faster. Give it a try, it's fun and you'll be amazed at how much your little knows. I know I was!!! =) Christine5 -
Monday, 25 Feb Thank you for the advice. I feel much better. I havn't pumped yet though. I did with my first and it seemed to hard. I also had latch on problems too the first month but it's better now. My goal is also a year. I hope teeth aren't a problem though. Your son is absolutely adorable! and Lincoln is a cute name, I love it. Well take care. Chases-momma -
Friday, 22 Feb I sort of do shots like that. But I get 2 at the apt and then 2 about 6 weeks later instead of single doses. I am interested in splitting up the MMR shot though. Chase did get a flu shot, but only because daddy and I both work in restaraunts and someone is always sick! SwedeBaby -
Tuesday, 19 Feb Still waiting to see any real benefit from the fenugreek.....it may take a few days to get into the system though. Thanks!! CrisW -
Tuesday, 19 Feb She weighs 14 lbs 14 ounces. The Dr is not concerned about her weight. I find it interesting that she is eating little but still doing okay with her weight. I think the big concern is getting her nutrients. I don't know how to get her to eat. She cries when I tried to feed her formula. However likes her solids. She is very different than my husband and I. We love to eat! LOL! stacie07 -

Thursday, 24 Jan hello, I too had trouble at first with breastfeeding. The first week of his life my son lost a little too much weight so they strongly advised I supplement with formula. Well, once I did that he no longer wanted my breast. It was a terrible experince. He woudl just scream for hours at my breast. I would sit there crying, questing if I should just give it up or not. I didnt not though because I was very determined to BF. I am glad I stuck it out too, it took about 8 weeks to for us both to get it together and now 5 months later I LOVE that time we share. bluebutterfly81 -

Tuesday, 1 Jan Hi! I pump twice daily while at work. I work 8-5 and pump at 11:00 & 3:30. I usually get anywhere from 12 to 16 ozs total. I usually get more on Monday's after I have nursed my son all weekend. Good Luck & Take Care! aussie-mum07 -
Tuesday, 1 Jan Congratulations on your son. My son didnt latch on for 2.5 months so I had to pump and bottle feed expressed milk. He is nursing fine now. I know exactly what you mean when you said that it was very hard at the start because it was a killer for me too. But it seems like you are going fine now and enjoying motherhood. Good on you. Good luck with everything!!
