I gave birth early on Sept 22nd! I went into labor at home on Sunday the 21st. I went to the restroom and saw bright red blood. I had been having a few braxton hicks contraction, but nothing painful. I called the hospital and they told me to come on in. When I got there I was still 2 cm dialated and then 1 hour later I was 4 cm dialted and 90% thinned out. They would not let me go home because the labor was moving to fast, and I was having VBAC vaginal birth after c-section. This lasted all day sunday and then I had him Monday morning at 9:50 a.m. vaginal deliverey and only 20 min of pushing. He was barely 36 weeks and weighed 5lb 13 oz! I am now working on breastfeeding and loving this new little addition!!!

I have two wonderful children. Nicole who is eight years old, and TY he is 14 months. I was suprised to see I was pregnant with third. I am very excited although I will have my hands full with two so close in age! With my first I had vaginal delivery with my second I had emergency c-section. My doctor is going to allow me to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section). The only catch is I have to be in labor by my due date. I was very surprise to find out we are having a boy!! I felt like it was going to be a girl. We can't wait for our little man to get here!

hi! i read your comment about the dizziness. i was getting it bad, too. then i started drinking lots of oj- the fresh squeezed but flash pasturized kind by odwalla tastes good! it really helped! i read that vitamin c really helps you absorb iron. good luck to you and baby!

I have a daughter that will be 2 in June and she weighs around 28 pounds and I carry her all the time. We still play and I throw her in the air and all of those things. But when it hurts I know I need a break. My Doctor says it is fine, but if it hurts just rest for a little while.

I have a 1 year old as well. HEs a little more indeppendant but at times he wants me to pick him up, if it hurts too much for you try and do it less and maybe try for a new habbit. does your little one walk yet? If not, slowly encourage him to walk.

Hi there, Have not talked to you in awhile. How are ya???? Feeling okay?? I am still soooooo freaking tired... No energy at all.. I am only up this late since I have Netflix and am watching (listening) some stupid comedy show.. So,, I read that you found a Dr to do a VBAC? Awesome.. My hubby still thinks that he is going to deliver this baby. YEAH RIGHT!!! I still have not been to the Dr.. I have an appointment on May 14th. Hopefully I will get an u/s and see if I am having a GIRL.. I hope so... But will be just as happy with a boy.. I carried high with both my biys and this one is low.. So,, who knows if the belly high/low thing is true? Hmmmmm???

That is great that she will do VBAC. That is not good giving you a timeline like that. As a doctor, she should at least let you go to 42 weeks. If you it is the day before your due date and you are having irregular contractions...would she make you have a C-Section? I would refuse it at that point. If you do find yourself in that similar situation...remember that you CAN REFUSE a C-Section. Hopefully, knowing what the anxiety is like at the end of pregnancy you will go before your due date...but you just never know. Yeah, No Pressure at all ;-)

I will have the same pressure though. My midwife told me they start to get nervous at 40 weeks...she said she would check me for progression at 37 weeks and start me on natural inducers like... evening primrose (sp?) I think 37 weeks is absurd to start intervening like that. I would do it at 39 for sure...but not earlier than that. We just have to watch out for #1. Be trusting and open with your care provider, but they are not perfect and make their own mistakes...so just watch out for yourself. TTYL. Thanks for the update!

Dairy foods contain lots of protein as well. Eight oz. of milk has 10 grams of protein. Other dairy foods such as yogurt and cheese are high in protein too.

I never had ms, so I guess Im lucky but I am forever tired.Yeah I have gained I think 10 lbs I hope it is all the baby weight. Because it doesnt seem like I eat that much. But the protein part I make alot of ground beef,chicken and carne asada for dinner. I dont know if this is helping but I also eat protein bars for my snack.You probably already know but here is some food I have listed on my protein list:Beef,cheese,chicken turkey,eggs,fish,ham,peanut butter,pork chops,shellfish,sardines,tofu,canned tuna chicken or turkey. Hope your having a great day!

Thanks for replying! That's so funny that you crave peanut butter because that's one thing that I can't get enough of! I made my husband hide it from me because I couldn't stop eating it. And I have the natural stuff but I don't want that - I want the bad stuff. Hopefully these cravings will go away soon and I'll start craving something healthy!

Well so far they have been in the range that they want since they put up my dose again and I have also started walking for 20 min after I eat. So I really dont know if it is the dose or the walking that is helping. I remember you said you have a pump so does that mean you just calculate your own dose or does the Dr tell you?
