Wednesday, 7 May You're welcome...I am neurotic too..just on different things :-) I have loads of worries as well - I think its part of the contract when choosing to become a parent :-) It will only get worse once our babies are out...phew...more worries huh? waralba -
Wednesday, 7 May Don't worry at all about your pulse rate in the 80s. When I go to the Dr. it has been up to 126! They never say anything about it. Thankfully yesterday it was only 90. danish-girl -
Wednesday, 7 May That is perfectly normal :-) I just did mine so I could tell you what is is...and I've just been asleep and have not even stood up before taking my pulse - its 82per min.

Tuesday, 6 May for me sex didn't help.... but then I was nesting like crazy and that made me dilate to almost 1.5cm. walk around a lot and do the squating poistioin suppose to help. at least my doctor wants me to do this for the next couple of days. He said a little minor bleeding is fine too, so just keep walking until your body drop or your water brake. hahahahaha^^ good luck.... ladybug85 -
Tuesday, 6 May i'm due on the 15th and still not dilated! i was just wondering the same thing about sex and dilating...lol! anything to get this ball rolling. i just cant wait to finally hold my son in my arms instead of my belly :) EVEMOMAGAIN -
Tuesday, 6 May Yes, sex does stimulate the cervix to dilate. Actually, it's semen that helps your cervix dilate. I tried but it was NOT fun at all! Nipple stimulation is also supposed to help. I rather do that because sex is way tooo uncomfortable at this point. Hope it's better for you :-) Have fun and good luck! wildberry -

Monday, 5 May Just wondering how did they check your fluid level? I never had that done so I am just wondering sandradee -
Monday, 5 May Morning Monica-
I too am a big O cm. dilated and my fluid level has been hovering just above 5 for 3 weeks now. So, I have weekly ultrasounds so ensure baby's safety etc. From what my doc has told me, the reason this is such a bummer is, if your level drops below 5 you'll most likely be induced, but if your cervix is closed and long/hard induction may be trickier and more painful. They don't like to let women w/low fluid levels go any longer than 40 weeks because it really increases stress to the baby. So, I just asked for an induction date on my due date and came up w/ a plan w. my doctor. I am sure you can state that is what you'd like too. Your doctor really can't and shouldn't say no at that time, so just ask him/her. God the thought of being 42 weeks pregnant sucks just thinking about it! Your due date happens to fall on my Bday! Which is a great day to be born! Good Luck! And I hope your delivery is awesome anyway it happens! Sandee TommyGirl -
