Wednesday, 30 April Hey girl!
Yeah no baby as of yet! And personally I do not think the sex works! Have been making the hubby have sex everyday twice a day and nothing! I have tried everything except a bumpy road! This child is just happy as can be in there and I am afraid I could be pregnant for life! LOL! jenim24 -

Tuesday, 29 April Hi Monica9 about your baby being posterior there are exercises you can do to get the baby to rotate into a good position a good website is to checkout is www.spinningbabies.com pinkb00h -
Tuesday, 29 April Lol you can!! I'm always running to her, asking her if this is normal, if that is supposed to feel that way. She does her job as a nurse, AND as a grandmother, so I'm sure she enjoys it :) snowwhite5thbabe -
Tuesday, 29 April Hi! I've had two posterior babies, and they both refused to turn during labor. With one, it was a fast labor, so I felt the whole thing- not too good! I had an epideral with the other one, and it didn't help him turn...but I was blissfully ignorant that the Dr. broke my tailbone while vacuuming him out (his head was stuck on it), so I would definitely do the epi! They don't do a c-section for a posterior baby, though...
Good luck! jenim24 -
Tuesday, 29 April LOL! I did it on my bed and watched tv. Alone, I might add. LOL dimpledemon -
Tuesday, 29 April i know for sure when i conceived, my baby is small, but brain measures on target. but my doctor moved my due date to june 3rd bc of her size. i refuse to acknowledge that due date bc i know when i got pregnant. ive only had sex twice, so i know for sure. but my stubborn doctor still changed my due date. it sucks bc im afraid if i go into labor soon, he'll stop it. but june 3rd is almost three weeks after may 15th. i wish he would just listen to me. socalgal -
Tuesday, 29 April Hi Monica,
My son came at 41 weeks. He was 9 lbs and facing posterior like your baby. My labor was brutal--45 hours from the time my water broke. But I'm convinced it took so long because I was so determined to have a natural birth that I refused all pain relief for the first 33 hours or so. He couldn't fit that way, but everytime he tried to turn it felt like I was being scraped with a butcher knife from inside my rectum and I would freak out with the pain. Once I had an epidural, I took a nap and when I woke up he had turned around on his own and was almost out on his own too. I think I only pushed like 5 mins or less. So my recommendation would be, if baby doesn't fit through your pelvis that way, accept an epidural (but no IV administered pain relievers) to relax your body and the baby will be able to turn itself. I was determined not to have a c-section and thankfully I did not! Good luck! pinkb00h -
Tuesday, 29 April Not a problem! I just hope it helps you out! I heard that the back labor caused by a sunny side up baby is super painful. Worse than regular labor!! Getting on all fours, too, helps alleviate back pain cause by the baby putting pressure on it, or causing you sciatica. I thank God that my mom is an RN.. lol! jenlove -
Tuesday, 29 April Ok, I gotcha. I think that is fine. I have a friend who's measuring in the 24% and they think she will be ok (she's due in late June). There is another girl on her whos baby girl is measuring in the 20s too. It seems to be something with girls:)
Your pic of your husband with the pink onesie is adorable. She is going to steal his heart!
How are you feeling? hope you're feeling great! pinkb00h -
Tuesday, 29 April From what I've heard, your baby will probably move on her own. If you go into labor, and she's still sunny side up, the nurses/doctors will be able to tell, and will probably have you get on your hands and knees to try and get her to flip. Usually the baby does flip, so you won't have to worry about a c-section. Even then, she can be born sunny side up, it'll just be more back labor for you, cuz of her bones scraping against yours. So I wouldn't even consider a c-section right now. Maybe try to flip her on your own. Get down on all 4, and let your belly hang there - don't suck it in. Stay like that, and you may start to feel a lot of movement. That'll probably be here flipping :) Hope this helps!! jenlove -
Tuesday, 29 April YES! I know for sure, no doubt, when my LMP was. But that first u/s measured a week behind so they changed my records to the wrong LMP! Very annoying, they just will not budge off that first u/s. But I keep it in mind so I'm not surprised and think I have more time to get things done then I do. How about you? jwhitley -
Tuesday, 29 April I never had to have one of my babies moved, but my friend did. The nurse climbed up on the table and moved the baby down with her elbows! My friend said thanks to the epidural she didn't feel a thing! jenim24 -
Tuesday, 29 April I'll give you the same advice that worked for me and other mom's. My cousin is a midwife & here is how you get the baby to turn without pain, and at home. You get on all fours, butt up in the air. I did this for 20 mins and afterwards I felt him turn and proceed to tap dance or something! LOL I don't know how long you're supposed to do it, but it definately works!! mommy-2-b -
Tuesday, 29 April Lol...my baby was measuring 5lb 10oz at my 32week ultrasound. Wish me luck! Last Thursday my cervix was softened, but not thinned. I was dialated 1cm. The doc could feel her head, but she was not fully engaged. I lost my mucus plug on Sunday morning...just waiting :0) They are talking about inducing me at 38.5 weeks...we'll see! MariaC -
Tuesday, 29 April My hubby tells me not to carry all the clean washing up the stairs, so I leave it for him to take up!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!! xXx MileysMom -
Monday, 28 April I have the same thing with my arms and hands falling asleep and my doc said it was carpal tunnel and you could get braces from your local pharmacy that would help. I don't know if it works yet because i havent gotten them but once i do ill let you know. DustyCheyene -
Monday, 28 April i know and i am sooo ready! dreambaby16 -
Monday, 28 April I have the hands go numb every night, left hand worse than right. It is carpal tunnel syndrome, more swelling equals more pressure on nerves. I've tried icing my wrist before going to bed, or my elbow, but it wakes me up every night, sometimes with my hand burning. I've been reassured it will go away after delivery, but slowly. Hang in there. mandr1 -
Monday, 28 April I have the same problem with the tingle feeling and my hands get numb and fall asleep when I lay on either side - it's pretty weird but I guess normal...it's possible to be on a vein that limits the amount of blood going to that area.
