Friday, 6 June I thought of more! I'm not sure of your opinion on co-sleeping, but I did it up until my girl was almost 7 months and it worked out great. It really helped her establish night and day. I was breastfeeding to, so she would nurse and we would fall asleep together. If you're not comfortable with that, what about a bassinette or co-sleeper bed beside yours? If you have any questions at all about co-sleeping or anything at all, please message me! I'd love to help, take care xo o0kathryn0o -
Friday, 6 June Heya. I saw your post about your baby not sleeping unless she's being held. I SO know what you're talking about! My girl was the exact same way! I thought I was going to have a breakdown. Then I borrowed a sling from a friend and it got soooo much better. I could actually have my hands free to EAT...haha imagine that! And do other stuff. She really took to the sling. I don't have the heart for the cry it out method, I'm strongy against it for various reasons. Anyway, if you can get your hands on a sling it might really help. I also had her in a bassinette that had wheels, and I would roll it back and forth and she would fall right asleep. Hmmm..what else... I can't think of anything else, but I'm sure I'm missing something....Oh..where are you putting her to sleep? If it's a crib, that could be the problem. It's such a big scary place for a baby that's used to being cuddled and swaddled...does she like to be swaddled? Daisy04 -

Thursday, 5 June You're welcome, I did the same thing a few days ago, that's why i knew the temps lol! mom-o-7 -
Thursday, 5 June Normal temp for baby is 99.6 rectally....you add one for rectal and take away one for under the arm....oral temp. for baby (as well as us) is 98.6.

Thursday, 5 June Hi, 99.1 seems normal. I go in celsius but I googled the converter. You can go as high as 37.4 Celsius before you have to go see the doctor. If she runs a fever, it is serious and you have to seek help. We didn't and it was a mistake. Anyhow, 99.1 seems fine.

Thursday, 5 June MOnica....thank you so much...it all makes sense when you say that...he does take too much in with the small bottles and not enough with the avent...Im going to go out and get the size 2 right away...I will let you know how it goes...hugs to you lisamarie8503 -
Thursday, 5 June Rectal temp is 0.5 to 1°F HIGHER than the real temp, Armpit is 0.5 to 1°F LOWER. So if it is 99.1, it is really aprox 98.1, so it is no biggie. You should only be concerned if it is over 100.4 luvmy-buninoven -
Thursday, 5 June It should be normal, really they only worry if it's 100.4 or higher, then go to the ER, but unless she is showing signs of dicomfort, she is fine :) lili-d -
Thursday, 5 June my daughter did the exact same thing!! Its the most frustrating thing in the world. We changed her formula to soy which helped alot...this formula had wayyy less bubbles in it. And she was overtired as well. try laying her on your chest and moving her up and down. or have her sleep on the bed with you...that ALWAYS work. GOOD LUCK!! sherryh -
Wednesday, 4 June I just read your comment . Have you tryed wrapping baby tight in a blanket ( like did at the hospital)? It's soothing for them and feels like someone is holding them. My lil guy will be 3 weeks tomorrow and I still do that at night .

Wednesday, 4 June I finally got around to sending out birth announcements when she was 2 months old and the pic was from when she was 1 month old! (But I had a link to a web page with pics from her birth and the day after.) People don't expect much from a new mama! monica9 -

Friday, 30 May Hey, my boobs itch a lot too. Like you I have 2 breast reductions but i m pumping and even thought I do not make a lot of milk I give my girl some. The worst part is that I do not have sensation in some parts of my boobs and it itch but. when I scrach (sp?) I do not get relieve. I do not know if the itch has something to do with the breast reduction or not. gabymom -

Thursday, 29 May Your stomach is still swollen and your uterus has not completely gone back down yet. I totally looked 6 months pregnant for at least a couple weeks. I had a c-section so there might have been more swelling but even now 2 months later my stomach has still not gone down completely and it isn't all fat. Give it time, it seems like the last week or so I have been getting so thin I actually fit into my old jeans which were getting small on me before I got pregnant LOL. The problem however is they may fit but they don't look too good on me yet because my stomach still has some baggyness to it. Even my bellybutton has not gone completely in yet. Your fam is just confused. :) -
Thursday, 29 May i was 110 before getting pregnant, and 142 when i delivered. i had a c-section, so i can't really say too much, but i def still looked about 6 mo pregnant after mattie was born. i was about 136 when i got home; i thought i was supposed to be a lot lighter! lol. i lost about a lb a day for a week w/out doing anything. my guess is that all thats left after baby is normal and goes away gradually. after that first week, im still at 122. mattie's one month old now. so...i guess its normal. my family also told me i still looked pregnant...it didn't help to make me feel better lol
