Saturday, 23 August mix half ounce of prune juice and half an ounce of water to soften her up if it gets worse newmommy -
Friday, 22 August When I switched Ariana from breastmilk to formula I noticed her poop is so thick compared to before and it is also dark brown. I have her on soy formula and the doctor told me soy makes it thicker and can sometimes constipate them. What type of formula are you using? 1stimemommy -

Sunday, 10 August Hi everyone. I added some pics of Sierra. They're on the last two photo tabs. My friend is a photographer and got some nice shots at a little party that her grandparents through for her.
I'm back atwork and time is limited. Hubby is playing Mr. Mom these days. Sierra is doing well -- nearly sitting up, grabbing her feetsies, and *talking* up a storm.
Anyhoo. Gotta go. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Thursday, 7 August I totally agree :) I think co-sleeping is not helpful for the baby, it makes the baby become to attached for constant touch and most definitely not good for a marriage. My girlfriend kept her little girl in a bassinet in the room just across from her bed. When her little girl became 8 months she placed her in her own bedroom in a crib. It's her third child and she say's it good for the baby. jcurran23 -
Wednesday, 6 August I saw your question on the lactose intolerant thing. If the baby is lactose intolerant, it's probably not because you're drinking milk, it could be your breast milk. Our baby was having similar symptoms and doc said he was lactose intolerant and it was my breast milk and he was put on special formula and was fine after that. You should ask your pediatrician though for sure. emetyb01 -

Tuesday, 5 August You're welcome. She said that if I had, it would stall it. But I hadn't and mine still stalled out.. cris99 -
Tuesday, 5 August Hey. I only bottle feed, and I didn't get my period until about 12 weeks pp. I didn't get to see my doctor for my very first pp visit until about 10 weeks, and she told me that it would be coming soon, and sure enough it did. She asked if I'd had intercourse since giving birth, and told me that could be a factor as well. monica9 -

Thursday, 31 July Hi, about my poll..prednisone is a steroid and an immunosupressent (pretty much makes your immune system not work depending on how many milligrams you are on) I am on it because it keeps me alive..i have a disease that my immune system thinks my liver is something foreign so it eats it away to get rid of it..obviously without your liver you will die..so anywho...my son came out fine..a little jaudice (which is common), but got sick (colds/flu/pneumonia/croupe, etc) all the time like between every 2-4 weeks he was in the doc...then he had VERY badstomach problems..throwing up 4 times a day(like 2-3 cups worth each time he vomited) , had a ton of gas, lots of bloating and diarrhea, just miserable. he is lactose intolerant as well. he is just getting a little better, but is about 6 months behind when it comes to eating and talking because he was pushed back because of being sick so much, even though he started running at 9 months of age. but my poor little man was miserable until now..which he still gets sick often..i think the medication is stuck in his system because he got it throught my pregnancy and they told me to breastfeed which was not a good idea (i believe, with being on the medication). so yeah thats what happend..i just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced anything similar from being on the same meds. thanks for asking :) mommyinthesky -
Tuesday, 29 July We've had 2 diaper accidents. We have a BabeSafe cover on the mattress and then got the mattress pad from BabeSafe as well and then the sheet over the mattress pad. It's a pain to change the sheets, but so far OK.
