Ok so in an attempt so make this short and sweet I will give you all the rundown until now (17 wks). I am a 23 year old cuban girl in the often desired hot hot city of Miami, Florida. I have an incredible man by my side who I know will be a great father. I conceived on Valentines day... and am having a baby girl who was most defenitely not shy about showing her stuff...lol Her name will be Jayda Marie and needless to say we are incredibly excited and anxxxxious about seeing our first child! I am new to this site and happy to be able to talk to other women about the most amazing thing I have ever and will experience... PREGNANCY So far I can honestly say I have been lucky and had a good one and hopefully will continue on the same track. My baby until now is active and healthy and I wish the same for everone else. Like the rest I have good days and some bad, so If i can be of any help or advice to others I would be more than glad.

heyy ladies.
had an ultrasound today..
things look good!

we figured out why im in so much pain...
this lil man changed positions...
so hes head down and pressing hard on cervix.

it even looked a bit open, but the lady said its not, its the way hes putting his head on my cervix... ugh! hes killing me slowly! ((sometimes im fine. others im in so much pain i have to grab onto something to walk or make sure i dont fall)) -its a bit frustrating!

8 weeks 5 days left. and hes only getting bigger! imagine! o myy!
prayy for me ladies.
i really think lil mans gonna want to make an early appearance. hopefully after christmas atleast. after 34 or 35 weeks i dont think its that big a deal ((right?))

i also read an article online about the steriods that they give premies ((for rapid lung development)) and they said it kills brain cells. so now im not gonna ask for it unless i start going into early labor. id like to be sure lil man has all his brain cells... ((specially since on his fathers side they're missing a few, - you wouldnt believe the calls ive been getting from him, and his mother! ugh! i just hang up n shut the fone off.. dont even stress it...))

im going to look for the article and post it.

hey ladiies
sorry i took so long

so i got to the hospital a bit before 5...
they checked the baby, monitored me.
determined i wasnt in labor ((which i already knew! duhh!))...

then they determined i wasnt dilating --also knew that.

n e ways... they said they werent sure what the pain was but if it gets worse 2 come bak!
im like hello! i came for u 2 tell me whats wrong... not whats not wrong! ugh!

i was so frustrated, it was like 7:30 when i left. had to pay 6 bux parking...n then i get home n realize they didnt give me bak my insurance card or my medicaid card! so i had to call the insurance co. ask for another card. n i been callin medicaid n the lines busy! ugh!

so im still in pain. they said i could take tylenol.. so i stopped at the gas station ((only had tylenol pm. so i took that last nite)) bought extra strength tylenol today. n ill take it if i need it.

ive got an ultrasound friday.
so i guess for now ill do my best to relax and take the Tylenol if needed. n if it gets worse ill go bak 2 the hospital!

((they did say i could take tylenol 3)) so i gotta find some! hmmmmmmm.......

todays been a rough day...

its a year since i gave birth to my twins and my son died that same day. im goin nuts... n ive had lots of pain from the baby puttin pressure so im trying not to drive myself nuts and put myself in early labor!

please keep my lil man and i in ur prayers
things are starting to look up... and im hoping God is blessing us in so many ways...

heyy ladies!
had an ob appt 2day...
basic apt.

walk in.
pee in cup.
weigh myself (( so i gained 2 lbs in 4 weeks... but figure that friday the munchkin had gained 1 lb 5 oz... so... its all goin 2 him! lol! THANK GOD! )) so its a total weight gain of 12 lbs!

n e ways... did the glucose test. guess the results will be ready in a few days....

(( the drink wasnt too bad. like orange gateorade))...

-please pray i dont get pregnancy diabetes!... for 2 reasons... 1 cuz it sux n 2 cuz im a sweets pheen! lmao. id freakin go nuts!

hope all are doing well.
10 weeks left! got the next ob appt in 3 weeks...

hope time flys! i want my lil one in my arms already

went to the doc today for an ultrasound to make sure my cervix was ok... all is good (all that kickin on the cervix didnt do nothing! lolz).

lil mans already weighin 2 lbs 12 oz! n im only 28 weeks! i love it! hes gonna be a lil fat boyy.

ive gotten a few messages about my friend n her baby.. they are doing well. mommy is home and baby is still in the nicu ((she'll be there for a while)) she is stable though...

keep them in your prayers. they have a long road ahead of them

may God bless everyone and keep us all healthy, n those of us who are preggo ((lets all keep da munch-kins in to term!))

heyy ladies.
i know most are wondering how my friend and her baby are.

they are doing well... baby is stable. but she has a small hole in her heart. they will give her medicine to see if it closes. if not they want to operate. my friend has not asked to many questions. in my opinion i think they should wait until the baby is much bigger to operate... shes too fragile at the moment.

shes currently breathing 85% on her own and 15% with the respirator...

i will continue to keep you all updated!

on a brighter note, i have a pic of my son at 26 weeks that i am adding. ( taken today at ultrasound )

all appears well. my cervix is shut. (( biggest problem is baby kickin it. lol ))

please pray that my baby and i make it to full term... thank you all.
