More about me,,,,,,,,,,,

Thankyou for taking the time to come and look at my profile. Well I am a stay at home mum and I live in the UK, I have 4 wonderful daughters and I am currently pregant with a boy!!!!!! So he will be coming into a very femine household, (but at least his dad wont be sooo outnumbered anymore).

All of myprevious pregnancies were relatively easy compared to this one, except they dont like to stay inside till full term, my first two were both born at 38 weeks my 3rd at 37 and number 4 at 35 weeks, but thankfully even though she was 5 weeks early she was perfect and she had no problems, the only complication was that the placenta took 1 hour to come out but eventually it did alone.

Well onto this pregnancy!!!!!! I have been in hospital 3 times for a couple of overnight stays due to having a fever and bugs in my urine, |I am so scared with this one cos of each of the other pregnancies getting earlier and I am now 31 weeks I am sooo scared of it coming early.

This pregnancy has been so different to the others, they were all so active in the womb and this one is soooo quiet, but I suppose each pregnancy is different, I hope the last few weeks are easier than the rest of it has been.

Anyway I look forward to meeting friends on here.

How`s my pregnancy doing?

I would bet that it's bladder related and that kegels will help, but if you are worried about it, I would definitely call your doc. Call especially if you are certain that it's not urine.

christilynn - Thursday, 8 May
just read your message in week 34-you have just experienced the "sneez/cough/laugh-pee...just do some keigels...I haven't had that prob yet...

MommyJewels - Thursday, 8 May
I would call them. If it happens when you sneeze..most likely it's probably your bladder...but it sounds like with what you went through with your last baby...might want to just check and see:) Good luck

shk0910 - Thursday, 8 May
It sounds like stress incontinence but you need to notify your doctor.

MommyJewels - Thursday, 8 May
I would call your doctor...when do you see them again? If it is odorless I would just get it checked out. Most likely it is nothing, but better safe than sorry:)

Thank you for responding. I know she cares. I even understand why she said that. My mother has a mood disorder and she really truly has a very low tolerance for stress. It’s just hard because at times she is the only one I can turn too, but really I cant because she can’t handle anything negative. Maybe it’s for the better, though. I could not imagine having to coach my mother through my own labor lol. Thanks again and congratulations. :-)

Hello and thank you for your comment.Well i think i had him early cause i got pregnant so soon . i had a baby in aug07 and got pregnant when she was 1 mth old so i really think my body was tired and worn down. I went in on the sunday and was in the hosp.for 3 days and nothing went on so i went home (drs. didnt want me to ) but i did anyways. and i got out wed at about 4pm and went back in thurs at 120am and they couldnt stop it this time. but i waited for that reason cause i think my body wanted to go into labor twice in less then a week there was a reason . but he is doing just fine now . he is now back up to 3lbs 10 oz .so all is well he might come home at 36 weeks if he is eating what they think he should be at that age.

Congrats on your boy!! & wishing you the best of luck on not having this one "too early". I'd be happy if mine came at least 1 week early for me. ALL my other kids were LATE, LATE, LATE (except my 1st). Your daughter's comment is precious. Battle of the sexes lol. My girls wanted another girl and the boys vice versa. Well the boys WON & broke the tie. hee hee
I also have a sister who has 5 boys....

No I never had it before.. they just gave me a cream, surely you can use that as much as you want as it's just a soothing cream? - if you are worried though then you could use one of the baby creams like sudacrem? it's just to soothe you really... but definitely ask them, it's hard for any of us to give advice as I don't want to be wrong about something?!! let me know what they say!!

janbob - Monday, 28 April
They didn't even examine me! I just told her i was swollen and sore and she said it was thrush and gave me a cream!

janbob - Sunday, 27 April
Hey moo... I had that swollen feeling and it turned out i had thrush! I'd never had it before and the doc just gave me some cream and it went down really quickly and felt like such a relief!!

boomum - Sunday, 27 April
I've had the exact same swollen feeling today and not sure if maybe its related to the bd last night.....don't really remember having it on my other pregnancies but i've been walking like John Wayne all day! Anyway congrats on your 1st boy..i'm expecting my first son too...any names in the frame yet?

Rachel918 - Sunday, 27 April
I have that feeling now too... I can barely see down there its all compressed from my huge belly that is in my lap lol... whenever i get up to walk it is a throbbing pain... I also have some sort of heat rash on my bum so the combination is driving me crazy!

teresa262 - Sunday, 27 April
I have had the swollen feeling throughout my whole pregnancy. I had asked my doc and he said that it is normal, you have more blood flowing to that area which can make it feel enlarged. One thing that did help is I switched from regular toilet paper to the pre moistened flushable wipes.

I know what you mean. I used to think time was going so slow but now it seems like any day now I will hear a baby crying. I am trying so hard to enjoy my last few months without getting too impatient. Good luck to you!

ariel1 - Tuesday, 11 Mar
i apparently just failed my gtt test today! I am freaking out! This is my first baby and I am not over weight and have only gained 10 pounds at 6 months prego. Did you pass your test? I am so worried about the 3 hour tolerance test now :(

alli - Monday, 3 Mar
I didn't find out the gender of my first pregnancy (nor this one) and my son rarely moved! He'd kick and jab a few times in the afternoon and at night before I went to bed. This one doesn't stop!!! We're kicking me in the middle of the night and all day and night!! Wonder if this one will be a girl....or just one who will never sleep!!

araya-sunshine - Monday, 3 Mar
My first child is a girl and was ALWAYS moving. This time I'm having a boy and he only moves about once or twice a day for 5 to 10 mins each time. He usually only moves when I'm laying in bed. I've heard other people say the same thing about there boys so I'm sure it has to do with the difference in the development of boys and girls.

tashak - Sunday, 2 Mar
i am pregnant with a boy also and from the moment he started moving i said to my husband this is a boy because he dont move that much and sure enough it is. i have a son already and two girls i cant remember if my son was active because that was 12 years ago but i know my daughters were very active.

JayW - Wednesday, 6 Feb
Thanks! I was pretty sure that's what it was!
I am so excited to finally feel movement, it seemed to take forever this time! It is most evident when I am really still, especially at night when I am laying on the coach watching tv!
