Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Thanks for the reply. Just got home from my doctor's appointment. She said everything looks good with me and baby. I measured 36 weeks. She took a specimen for the GBS. I'm not sure when I'll get those results back. She checked to see if I'm dialated...I'm not. But, my cervix is soft. She said (by feeling my belly) that the baby probably weighs 6-6 1/2 lbs already. The baby's heart beat is in the 140's. So everything looks good so far. Four more weeks!!

Thanks for your response. That is the same thing that happened to me...was 4 lbs 5 oz and then jumped to 6 lbs 7 oz...went from 60 percentile to 95 percentile...I hope it was a glitch in the system...I can handle a 8-10 lber but any more than that and I start freaking out...Plus he's still breach so I may have no choice on the C section front. Thanks again for your response

:) They dont really plan on doing much to stop her coming at this point although they dont want her here yet. Ive already bought two huge water bottles and drank over a quart of water yesterday when I got home. I want to monitor my water intake.If it was just something wrong with me I wouldnt make a big deal out of it but its the baby and now im all like " I HAVE TO DRINK ALLLL THE WATER" lol Im sure I will be alright. I had my cry session last night and I feel better.

Well, im military (My husband is) so i have to go to military hospital. So the way they work is you see midwives and OB RN's your whole pregnancy unless something is wrong! Sooo, the OB RN i have been seeing seems to be convinced that i can push out a 10 pound baby!!! Im 5'1 or 5'2, im short! And i dont see me doing that at all! So i dont know. I think im going to have to put my foot down and sign papers saying i want to be induced!!! He may just come early on his own, hes so crowded in there as it is now! I keep having contractions, just not dilating.....Who knows! Im just ready for him to get here!

Hi, i had a ultrasound last Wens. and they told me by baby boy is 6 lbs too!!! Ive been freaking out, hes going to be huge!!! If i go to my due date he will be 9 to 10 lbs! So yeah, im asking to be induced!!

FYI - my dr said ultrasounds can be off by 15% as far as size. So, even if it is the same tech the scan could still be off. Thought that might make ya feel better. :O)

Hi there, i just seen your comment. This same thing happened recently with my cousin, i dont think its anything to worry about, but i do know that they are giving her regular scans to check everything is ok with baby etc. Im sure everything will be fine with you hunny, take care x

they told me the same thing i went to a different doctor and he was great he said i still could. thats great congrats! i hope everything works out for you. yes we are going to find out its are last baby so we want to know. wishing you all the best!!!
