THANK YOU FOR UPDATING ME ABOUT BABY KALEB AND HIS FAMILY. THEY ARE STILL IN MY PRAYERS. AND FOR BABY EVELYNN, SHE WILL BE ADDED TO MY PRAYERS AS WELL. Oh that was the most devistating story I have ever read. I am speechless and horrified. How can someone do that to a baby and with the other story have her father do it. The tears won't stop.

honey, dont let anyone tell you that you are cold for smileing in those pictures!!! i would be smileing if my baby boy was makeing the progress that baby kaleb is makeing!! you smile harder! he and you are blessed that god has allowed him to stay here with you and no matter what, keep your hopes up!not everyone is so lucky to still have their baby. mine is in heaven with god but i smile cause she is in a better place. yes i love her and yes i miss her but this is what god wanted. i have a smile for her every day. and you do the same hon. i am proud of you for holding on and being there for baby kaleb. a less-stronger person would have abandoned all hope and left him there for the nurses to deal with. all the best wishes and hope and love from the Tarleton family!! we are all watching the progress and look for new updates. god bless you hon!!! and heep smileing

~my thoughts & prayers are with kaleb & his loving parents. i have a baby girl & another on the way & we couldn't imagine how we could go on if anything happened to them or anyone hurt them. i wish so much that there was more i could do for kaleb. i will pass this story on to everyone i know. i hope the person who did this terrible, cowardly, disgusting thing to kaleb pays dearly. my thoughts & prayers are with you sweet kaleb~

This story has literally broken my heart. I saw Kaleb's story last night on myspace and I cried, the type of cry that makes your heart hurt. I got so upset that I took my sleeping baby out of his crib and laid him in my bed with me and just held him and stroked his head and told him how much I loved him and I prayed to god to please spare Kaleb and other babies like him. This is just horrible. If you are that upset with a child please just put them down and walk away, hell even go outside, close the door and breathe. Please don't ever shake them. Children don't cry to make you mad they cry because that is the only way they know how to express themselves. Just imagine someone killing you for saying how you feel. I will continue to pray for Kaleb and his family.

hey there, I just read your page some more and see that you added more things I was just stopping by to say that in Canada here, we raised $2000.00 for Kaleb!! YAY, I've been over the moon all day! We have a facebrook group kick well 2 of them...unfortunatly i got off to rough start but the other girl who had a group won $1000 and had her friend donate another $1000 to Kaleb becasue she had the most amount of people in her group!!! I was considering putting my unborn son into daycare when he was 3 months old so I could return to work. Now I think I'll stay at home for longer ... Thank you for making me aware. I hope and pray that Kaleb's diagnosis current is wrong, and that he pulls through. xxx

this story realy touches my heart and close to home. on august 19 1995 i had my 2nd baby girl 'michelle' and my husbands brother and g/f babysat for all the children we had, at the time we had 4.well on a sunday november 25 to be exact, i was called into work on my day off and so i called the sitter and went to work. my husband was already at work. while i was at work that day the sitter wasnt watching the kids the way she should have. baby michelle was in her basanet and the last time anyone seen her alive was at 2 pm. i left for work around 10 am and returned homw from work about 8 pm. only to find my baby in her basanet that had 8 thick blankets on it that was covering the whole thing. she had passed away at 230pm and i was the one to find her at about 830pm. i lived in columbus ohio and the coroner rulled her death as an accidental suffication. it goes to show that now matter who you chose as a sitter and no matter who you think will be the best child-care-provider for your children theres always going to be that one who will decieve us all. since then i am very cautiouse who i leave my children with but even then i worry. i call every other hour to make sure that all is well. things like this are hard to get over. all i can tell myself is that god needed her for another reason and that she is now in a better place. i know that god is looking after baby kaleb as he will all the other babys out there who are at risk with that one we put our trust into. i send my deapest simpathys to mr. and mrs schwade. please keep your hope and just be there for your baby as long as you can. god will give you the strength.
