We had our level II u/s today. Baby looked good. Everything was measuring as it should and all the parts were there. We found out that we are having a BOY! We are very excited about that! Although we don't have a name that we can agree on. We had a girl name picked out, but we have had it forever. Hopefully baby no-name will be able to leave the hospital with name. We are very thankful to God for blessing our family with this little miracle.

Hey everyone! So I am due 4/14/08, looks like a tax day baby. We are very excited about our upcoming bundle of joy. I have had 2 u/s so far and the 1st one was at 6 wks. We got to hear the heart beat, which we were very surprised about. The 2nd was at 10 wks and the baby was moving around and the heartbeat was 170. I've made it through my 3rd dr's apt at week 14 and the heart beat was in the 160's. My dr said that according to the 10 wk u/s they moved my due date up to 4/8. But I've done the math from my ttc charting and my due date is still 4/14. We are supposed to find out the sex at our next apt 11/12.

Needless to say this is a scary and exciting journey! I'm starting to freak out a bit because I don't know what in the heck I am doing!!! But all in all I can't wait to meet our little one. value="transparent">

My son is also 7 weeks and just started smileing. He has to be in just the right mood and my husband or one of the kids may get a 5 second smile. He only does it once or twice in a day, then can go the whole next day without even a smirk. He has a very seriouse personality though. Our 3 year old started smileing at 5 weeks and would smile at anything. He is quite a ham now. I think it is just there personalities. Maybe your little one is just going to be a more seriouse kid. I wouldn't worry untill you hit 8 to 10 weeks and still havn't gotten a smile

I wouldn't worry about the smiling thing. I think 6 weeks is average to start getting smiles back that means some start earlier and some start later all of which is perfectly normal. If your concerned you can talk to you Dr about it and he/she can reassure you that it is normal. I am assuming you have a 2 month appointment, right?
