My profile

Hey everyone

Im Char and im married to my best friend and soulmate Darryn

We have a beautiful Daughter Camryn who was born on Wednesday 10 December 2008 at 23:28 weighing 6lb 7oz

She is our little miracle as i was diagnosed with pcos some years ago and told i would never concieve and we now have another little one on the way!!!!!!

I had a really bad pregnancy with my daugher. I had SPD and also spent 10 days in hospital before she was born with pre-eclampsia. She was so small when she was born she couldnt suckle from my breast and my milk did not come in. Also she went down to 5lb 11oz so i was advised to put her on the bottle. I have issues still about this as i was not shown how to breast feed, just told to get on with it, it will come naturally and the nurse forced her mouth onto me and she was not latched on properly the whole time i was feeding. I think if she had taken time to show me my breastfeeding experience would have been more productive and i am going to try and breastfeed the new baby when it comes. Incidentally when i was in labour my hubby was not allowed to be with me cause it was night and there were other women on the ward and they would not move me to labour suite because it as full. Good old NHS eh lol

I found this site to be really helpful and it was a big relief to read ladies in the same week as me going through the same things i was and put my mind at rest a lot so this time i am going to be a bit more involved in the hope someone benefits by reading about my experiences

Hi everyone,
I want to say thank you so much to all of you that commented on my blog and... we have a heartbeat
I called the EPU this morning and they said to come straight in. The u/s tech saw the hb straight away and as soon as she saw it she turned the screen round so I could see it too. She has me dated at 5+4 which sounds about right to me.
I am so relieved but I am also aware that it is early days.

Morning Ladies,
Well as some of you know I am getting finley's post mortem results today, I'm feeling pretty nervous...
BUT..... I'm also very happy as this morning I got a faint BFP
It's pretty faint but definitely there. I O'd around cd 20 and am on cd 31 today so I guess it is normal for it to be faint. Will be testing again tomorrow, don't think I will be totally happy until I get a blazing line.
