hey there! i saw a post of yours about feeling isolated. i'm finishing up graduate school and feel the same way. no one around me is in this position and we don't really have any friends not associated with work/school. i think you just need to focus on the things that make you happy (cooking, knitting, movies, etc) and get ready for your kid. you'll surely find people who are in the same boat throughout this site, maybe they are even in your area! good luck!

wow. I can only hope that will happen with me. Or hopefully sooner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not having any real signs that labor is approaching so I don't know what's going to happen.

My doc. hasn't either but I don't think that I will get another u/s. I think mine is just going by the fact that I am measuring "normal".

im a stay at home wife/mom and i definatly dont have any friends or go anywhere
its so hard because im having a second baby and we live with my mom n dad so it helps to have people here and my cousins are lviing on our property so i talk with her but she is 16 and im 20,.. so i definatly know where your coming from
its especially hard when your baby doesnt talk to you either lol

Oh I know I feel terrible about the way I acted towards my mother geez. I am glad I'm having a boy, I don't know if I could handle the harshness of puberty with a girl.

glad that helped. i dont personally know anything about it, but i know that we do them weekly and i havent heard anything terrible about them yet. one of the girls in my office just got one, and she says that she is really hungry so i guess u gotta be careful w/ that but idk

Just a little update: who knew getting an appointment would be so difficult. These people have been giving us the run around. My Tricare Prime isn't approved until Oct. 1 which means i have to see a civilian doctor till then, but one doctor I called said they wouldn't do it because it didn't make sense if I was just going to transfer over to a military doctor. Wow- how rude!! But I finally have an appointment September 9. ****Hope you all have a good labor day weekend****

Yea I know what you mean, we live with his mom right now because he is going to Navy boot camp December 2 so there isn't any reason to sign a lease on a place. Anyways the only people here are his mom which I can't really tell everything to and then his sister which just turned 15 and I never realized how young 15 really is because I thought I was so grown at that age haha. It's funny how your perspective changes in such a short amount of time.

hmm I feel the same way you do. I have no friends either and the only person I have to talk to is my fiance and that gets extremely frustrating for me at times even though I do love him I do just want someone other than him to talk with and hang out with. My only other friend is the dog haha and I think that I am getting to have too much of a people kind of relationship with her haha.

I think I could see my daughter kick from the outside at around 25 weeks. Now it's just fun to watch your belly move all on it's own LOL. I have to wake up at 6am to go to work but ugh I just can't get up no matter what time I fall asleep I'm just lazy

Guess what ladies! I just got back from the doctors, it's positive. I'm pregnant. YAY!!
