Welcome to my page!! I hope it is inspiring and encouraging to you and yours! My name is Tasha and this is my first pregnancy and I'm sooo excited and thankful that God has blessed my womb with a child. What a honor! This is such a blessing, I can't even express with words. :) So, we are having a girl!!! We would have been blessed either way..but I'm super glad it's a girl...:) We are going to name her Zecharia Michel Butler. (Zecharia)- because it is a biblical name and it means The Lord Remembers! I thank Him for that name because before I was pregnant I was distress emotionally about ever having a baby, I never knew when or how to start a family...I'm still a newly wed! But, the Lord remembered us in our time of weariness. And when it was the right time He blessed the womb!:) I thank God and love Him sooo much. So, I'm here..thankfully!! May God be with you all through out your pregnancies as well. So, Continue to shine that big, beautiful belly!!! :) :) Love, Tasha

Thank you so much for the advice. I've been using the palmers tummy butter,but it hasn't been helping. I will try the kind with the vitamin E though. Oh yeah, I just wanted to tell you that you and your husband look so happy together and I wish you the best. So how are you feeling I hope everything is going well

Hey how are you? My pregnancy has been good so far although I'm a little worried cause my Doc is having me do another U/S because they weren't able to see the umbilical cord very good, and she says that it looked there was only two vessels in it when it's supposed to be 3 here's a little of what I've read from the Internet on it

About 1 percent of singleton and about 5 percent of multiple pregnancies have an umbilical cord that contains only two blood vessels, instead of the normal three, as one artery is missing. The cause of this abnormality is unknown. If an ultrasound examination shows that the baby appears to have no other abnormalities, the baby is likely to be born healthy.

However, studies suggest that about 25 percent of babies with single umbilical artery have birth defects, including chromosomal and/or other abnormalities. A woman whose baby is diagnosed with single umbilical artery during an ultrasound examination may be offered prenatal testing using ultrasound evaluation of the fetal heart and amniocentesis to diagnose or rule out chromosomal abnormalities. Even if the baby does not appear to have birth defects, the pregnant woman will probably be monitored carefully for the remainder of the pregnancy because of a somewhat increased risk of poor fetal growth, preterm delivery and stillbirth.

and of course I'm a little worried but at the same time keeping my faith strong and praying that God puts everything in it's place LOL, it hurts to even think that something could be wrong with the little 1 so of course I've been crying and feeling sad and anxiously awaiting my U/S appt. on the 13th of May LOL !!!
