My name is Amanda and I married the love of my life,Sept. 9 2007. We got pregnant on our Honeymoon- but suffered a miscarriage 10/15/07- D&C 11/2 - We got pregnant again 1/4/08 ( We are blessed because this was our first try!!!) Very Excited yet mortified at the thought of losing again- We have a 3 yr old girl- Hannah- who simply cant wait to have a brother or sister! I know 37 weeks is considered full term... but I think its more like the day before you turn 38 weeks.... that is considered full term... I'm getting induced tomorrow.. and doc wanted to wail till then because I'll be 38 weeks, and she felt more comfortable and that baby should be " fully' developed. Never hurts to ask the doc to help speed things up though. Good Luck!!!

Hey... I know its been a while, Ive been busy planning a wedding and havent had time for the computer. Today is the day I was supposed to be induced and its very difficult... I know he is in heaven but its still a hard concept to grasp. We havent tried yet but shortly we will if i can stop with the urges of wanting to choke him lol i should have eloped. WELL IT'S ME AGAIN. I FORGOT TO ADD THAT I HAD MY SECOND ULTRASOUND LAST WEEK FOR MY BREAST LUMP AND THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT IT HASN'T GROWN ANY BIGGER AND FOR NOW THEY ARE ALMOST 100% SURE IT'S JUST A BENIGN TUMOR BUT THEY WANT ME TO COME BACK IN OCTOBER FOR A BREAST EXAM AND YET ANOTHER ULTRASOUND. I GUESS THEY JUST WANT TO BE 110% SURE THAT IT'S NOTHING.
ALSO GOOD GOING WITH THE EMU OIL, IT SOUNDS AMAZING !!!!
BY THE WAY HOW DID YOUR BABY SHOWER TURN OUT? HAVE YOU SET UP THE NURSERY? THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO BEFORE THE BABY COMES AND THE FUNNY PART IS THAT NO MATTER HOW PREPARED YOU THINK YOU ARE IN REALITY IT TURNS OUT YOU STILL FORGOT SO MANY THINGS.

I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I READ THE PART ABOUT TOM WANTING THE ADOPTION TO BE FINALIZED BEFORE VINCENT IS BORN SO THAT HE CAN SAY HANNAH WAS HIS FIRST AND VINCENT HIS SECOND CHILD. I'LL BE SAYING LOTS OF PRAYERS IN ORDER FOR THAT TO HAPPEN. IT SOUNDS LIKE TOM IS AN AMAZING GUY AND THOSE DONT COME AROUND VERY OFTEN !!!! WE ARE BOTH VERY LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH AMAZING MEN IN OUR LIVES.
WELL MY MUM LEFT ON SUNDAY AND TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY I FEEL LIKE I CAN FUNCTION WITHOUT BURSTING INTO TEARS

. IT WAS AWFUL HAVING TO SAY GOODBYE AND EVEN MORE AWFUL WHEN SHE SAID SHE COULD'NT BRING HERSELF TO SAY GOODBYE TO ZOYA CAUSE IT WAS JUST TOO PAINFUL. PETER TOOK HER TO THE AIRPORT AND I STAYED HOME WITH MAYA AND ZOYA. IT IS AWFUL WALKING INTO THE ROOM WHERE SHE SLEPT OR THE BATHROOM WHERE SHE SHOWERED. EVERYWHERE I LOOK I SEE HER AND NOW SHE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD

. SHE ARRIVED SAFELY AND WE SPOKE ON THE PHONE TWICE ALREADY. I MISS HER TERRIBLY.
ANYWAY SWEETIE I WILL WRITE MORE WHEN I GET A CHANCE.
MAYA STARTED SCHOOL TODAY AND I GOT MY PERIOD FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE GIVING BIRTH DESPITE THE FACT I AM STILL BREASTFEEDING

I am actually doing good and so is the family. I have 2 huge boys and a lovin hubby. Our new family is wonderful. I know my false labor started around 34 weeks I think and then it was happening consistently from 36 weeks on (everyday) I would have consistent contractions for like 3 hours we would get ready to leave and then.....nothing. OH I WAS SO DONE...lol Just a bit longer. Soon you will be saying....wow...I can't believe he is here. Are the estimating how much he weighs?

When your water breaks it can come as a gush like you described. Once the gush stops, you will continue to have water leaking out. Not strong like when you are peeing, but it will definitely keep your panties/pad wet down there! It won't go completely away.

Yeah I've heard the last 10 wks go by fast -- I'm hoping with the baby shower, getting his nursery together and we have a wedding and Kaylee starting Kindergarten/Dance -- it'll definately keep me preoccupied. I hope time flies.

I just want him here already! LOL

You look great btw!! My goodness I can't get over how small you look. Were you that tiny with Hannah too? When I pop, lol I POP!! Hahaha -- I'm carrying him so low, yet, he feels high too! Does that make sense?

That's a great idea about the reflexology appt!! I've never heard of anyone doing that before - but I have heard that certain massages on pressure points can get the ball rolling... so more power to you! I hope it works! I know you've gottta be frustrated.

You're almost there though!!!I can't wait to see his bedding and everything!!

Today we went through and cleared everything out of his room - we're prepping it to paint!! I can't wait. I finally feel like things are getting done.

I'll be posting a pic today at some point. Maybe I'll go do that right now!

Yay!! I'm finally in the homestretch!!

Wow I read your blog -- I can't believe you arent dialated at all, especially with him being so low and what not. That's going to be me I just know it. All these docs keep telling me that I'll probably deliver a week or two before my due date -- but I doubt it. With my luck, he'll be delivered at 42 weeks unless he busts through my va-jay-jay first!! LOL

How are you feeling other than the kidney stones and being uncomfortable? You're almost done hun! 4 more weeks!!! My god that seems like it'll be over with tomorrow!! I'm so very excited for you!

Is DH and Hannah getting more and more excited too??

Well you'll have to post pictures of Vincent's crib and what not! I'd love to see them!! Btw: I'm sending you some of my "nesting" lol... mine has started sort of early. LOL. My poor DH and Kaylee have had about enough of my harping about keeping the rooms clean and whatever.

Helloooooo!! Well today was quite an interesting day. I swear my doctors and the ER nurses think I am making this whole dizzy fainting thing up... bc it never seems to happen when I am around them and as soon as I can get to them I am feeling much better. So today was my glucose test and I started getting dizzy when I walked in and the minute she was done taking my blood - I almost fell right off the table. The room was spinning and my head was pounding - so they immediately had me lie down and called for the doc to come into see me.

He said that they'll be testing my levels and along with that is iron - he's pretty sure I am anemic again. I was anemic with Kaylee, but this is worse than I remembered. He gave me 4 bottles of gigantic horse pills (bleh!

) And told me that he's putting me on every two weeks starting now...instead of every 4 until 34wks. Fun fun!! I just dont know what else to do. They have been doing everything... I swear!! But I was relieved that they saw it for themselves and know that I am NOT making this up by any means.

How are you doing?? Are you feeling okay?? I saw you wrote a blog - I haven't read it yet -- so I'll get to that in a minute. How's Vincent doing? Moving a lot? Try and get as much rest as you can bc before long having two kids is going to be crazy -- I'm real freaked out about that right now hahaha...

You take care of yourself too!! You're ALMOST THERE!! WoohooO!!!
