Hi everyone,
My hubby and I were so excited last year when we found out we were pregnant. Even more excited when we saw 2 in the first U/S with their own little heartbeats. Sadly at 10 weeks I went in for a routine f/up U/S and found that we had lost them both. A rare condition called Acardiac Identical Twin Syndrome...1:33,000 chance. We were both destroyed and I had to have a D&C. Took more than 12 weeks for AF to return to normal (longest 12 weeks ever!). Now we are preggers again and due Dec 31st!!! This will be our first (fingers X'd) and I am considered high risk because of my age. I wish I had started earlier but sometimes things dont work out the way you plan!

Same thing happened with my son, I failed the first one and had to take the three hour test and turns out I didn't have diabetes at all lol
I've just had so much trouble in the past year I just really want an easy pregnancy and I just want to get through the next ten weeks lol Which I know even if I do have diabetes this time around I'll do whatever they tell me to, just the thought that something could go wrong scares me!

Usually you loose it around 36 weeks or right before you go into labor. Most women loose it gradually and dont even notice. But not al women. I really dont want to be too graphic. But I kinda have to be to explain. Ok, it's really really thick. Not at all like a normal discharge. Its almost like the consistancy of like a hair gel but a little thicker. Mine was like kind of transparent but w/ a light brown tint. I looked it up on google. I typed in: what happens when you loose your mucus plug. I went to the first site and it answered lots of questions. Click the one that says The mucus plug. I really hope that helps w/ figureing it out!!!

You poor thing. I have an appointment on Friday to get my tests done. From what I have heard, there are some clear warning signs if you have gestational diabetes. I was told you would know already if you did. So I am not worried. I am glad everything worked out for you. So your sunburnt.......what did you guys do? We have this lotion called after sun by Banana Boat that works awesome! It turns the burn to tan and most of the time you won't peel if you keep applying it. I of course, stop after I feel better so eventually I still peel. Aubrey has been very active today. I love it. It worries me that some days she is so active and other days she moves every now and then. I wonder if it is because when she has her feet and hands to my back she could be hitting it and I wouldn't feel it but that still doesn't make much sense. Oh well...I am sure she is fine. I am so excited you guys are going to join the league. You are going to have so much fun! Have you chosen a pediatrician yet? Let me know who you are thinking about b/c I know most of the pediatricians in the tri-county area b/c I used to do the marketing for a ped. urgent care center.

Just wanted to try to ease your mind. With my first pregnancy my sugar test come back really high. When I had my 3hr. test done, it came back normal. There was nothing to worry about, I'm sure yours will prolly be the same! Best of luck to you!

Glad your home safe. We just dropped the kids off with their mom. It went good. When they are here it is fine, it is with their mom that they are totally different people. We are working on it though. Yes, we want to hang out next weekend. What do you want to do?

Great! I'm excited. What time do you normally eat? I know I can't wait too long. Lately, we have been having dinner right when I get home from work cause I'm starvin! But it's completely up to you. I can munch until your ready. I think it will be pretty easy to find each other if we meet outside. We'll just both look for the big bellies! That stinks about the salt! We actually both love poker! We have always had a group who we got together with to play Texas Holdem, one in south Fl (then we moved) and then here (but our group kind of split up b/c the couple who started it split up-works everytime!) But I know he would love to. I won't throw him into the mix yet, until they meet, but after that I know he would be up for it. Don't worry about gaining the weight. I have gained 16 lbs too and everyone keeps telling me I don't look like I have gained anywhere but my belly. They say from behind I don't even look preggers. Don't know where all the weight is....ok, maybe my boobs. I'm normally a full C and have already gone to a DD. Ughh! Stevie doesn't mind so much. lol!

We had a great weekend. Finally finished the baby registry. Had my follow up at WP last Friday and he said the baby is perfect. Go back to see Dr. Peppy on the 15th. He said I will have to drink that gross drink. I guess it is to check my blood sugar. Are you doing that at your next visit?

Hey girlie...How are you? Have you ordered furniture for the nursery yet??? I highly recommend checking our www.crib4life.com. We went there today (they are located in Altamonte) We put a down payment today. The cribs are awesome. Once the baby is old enough to need a toddler bed, it converts into that and then into a real bed. They are sooo sturdy and great prices! We registered for the crib, large dresser and toy chest and it was around $1300. That is great considering we won't need to buy furniture for her for a long time. The changing table converts into a dresser and so on. Check out the website. They have some at babies r us but for about $200 more.
