IM VERY HAPPY TO JOIN THIS SITE. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SHARING THIS PREGNANCY WITH ALL OF YOU. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS BABY...........CONGRATS TO ALL MOMMIES TO BE.
This is my story....In Feb. of 1997 I had my first child he was born at 28 weeks and weighed only 1lb13oz. I had a MC in Feb. of 1998 ,but shortly and I mean shortly(March) I was pregnant again with my son Antione who was born in August and passed away afterbirth(15oz). I was so angry at my doctor, because it didn't seem as if he was concerned about what was causing my problem. It was the hardest thing I ever had to go through.By the next time I had become pregnant I had moved to close to a bigger city (Savannah,Ga). I was a little older and definatly a lot wioser, so I searched out a doctor for high risk. She was and still is a gift sent from God. She took one look a my medical records without even seeing me, and was able to determine the I had an IC. She told me not to worry, because she was gonna do every thing she could to make sure my daughter stayed put for as long as possible. She had a cerclage placed in my cervix, she put me on BR, she had me on meds for contractions, she even had me on a monitor at home to let the office know if I was having any contractions. Since I lived 45 minutes away when she started my on steroids to develope my daughter's lungs (which worked by the way) she had one of her nurses who stayed close to give me my shots so I didn't have to go to Savannah everyday for the duration of the treatment. She is the kind of doctor to get on the phone personally to check on you. Gotta love her. Brought me crochet stuff to do in bed when I told her I was bored of watching tv and reading. Well anyway back to my daughter, she came at 34 weeks, but don't get it twisted....her only problem was that she was 3lbs 14 oz and they wanted her to be aleast 4 lbs and a half before they let her come home. Which only took 7 days she was a very good eater. The steriods had developed her lungs so she had no problem with breathing. I thank God he can do some wonderful things can't he. Well she is over seeing this pregnancy as well so for so good. She is still wonderful and I thank God for her.

Well let me first take you back to Feb. 28, 2008. I started that morning by going to a regular prenatal visit. It turned out to be anything but regular. I had been having some swelling in my hands, feet, and face prior to the visit, but I had just associated with regular pregnancy swelling. However when I get to the doctor's office I find out my BP is up. Not only is my BP up but I have a lot of protien in my urine. I was sent directly over to L & D at the hospital. They kept an eye on my Bp which seem to be stabalizing. Well by the end of the second day they sent my to be watched in high risk since everyting seemed to be going fine. After about a week they were gonna try to let me come home and be monitored. Well my baby's started having some heart rate drops. So then I had to have a ultrasound which showed that baby B 's placenta was lacking some blood flow, but not enough for them to take them at that point. Mind you now preeclampsia the thing I was admitted for didn't seem to be that at all anymore BP had stablized and protien had tapered off. So they called in a Renal Doctor for me just to make sure my kidneys wasn't causing the protien problem. After the ultrasound and way to much lab work (I had begin to feel like a pin cushion) My kidneys seem to be fine. Well low in behold after about 3 weeks and everything seem to be ok babies heart rates ok except every now in then with a contraction, my bp is fine, protien ok, swelling ok. That's when it happened swelling came back in one of my legs with a vegengence. They started me on Lasik. Next night Baby b starts to have a lot os decelrations in his heart rate, My Ob is gone out of town for spring break with her kids go figure. They order a another ultrasound to check on the blood flows from the placenta and baby b placenta had pretty much quite working and we could wait no longer. They ultrsound tech didn't tell me, but you know how you can read facial expressions and just know when thing aren't right. My parents had just stopped by for a visit when the oncall doctor came in and delivered the news. I am so glad God fixed it so my parents had came, by because I don't think I could have handled it by myself. I called my husband to tell him to come, because he was at work at the time. We had to wait for the OR to clear out then a little after 4pm on March 21,2008 they took me back. After my spianl and everything was set up they brought my husband back. At 4:44 pm Khari Isaiah Cleary made his grand entry into the world. At 4:45 pm Ke'mani Israel Cleary came into the world. They showed them to us for a quick second then rushed them off to the NICU. They are both doing fine. No major breath problems, both breathing room air, but Khari has a little nasal canal on him with barely no oxygen coming out of it at all. Ke'mani (baby B) the smallest hasn't had any oxygen at all thus far. They are taking breast milk through a feeding tube. They are small though, basically that is their biggest problem. Well thanks for takiing time to read my birth story I will try to keep you guys updated, as I run back a forth to the hospital
Once again I was updating my page and all my updates got erased. So I am starting back over. Blah...I guess its okay though. My hubby is at work the kids are sleep and Im all alone with nothing to do but update my page. Plus I have heart burn from the fried chicken. Shame on me.
Before my updates had gotten deleted. I had posted on it about the cyst they found on baby A `s umbilical cord.Well I finally got my follow up appt. for another u/s on the 28th of this month and they are gonna take a look at that again. They say it doesn `t seem to be causes any problems so that is a blessing, but they still want to keep an eye on it. They also gonna take another look at my cervix and make sure everything is okay with that too. I had a quad screen done a couple of weeeks ago, I guess everything went fine with that. I go to see my ob on Tuesday so she can determine our next course of action. I know she started me on those steriod shots pretty early last time so that should be coming up soon. Well I will keep you posted on all of that.

First I want to say sorry to everyone. I have a lot of comments I haven `t responded too. Do not think it is because I was ignoring all of you I have just been away from the computer.I woul d like to share sometinhg that the pastor said in church today with all of you. Those that "live to win" know that:
1.) God is a God of the Impossible.
2.) God is a God of the Believing.
3.)God is a God of the Faithfaul.
We shoud live our lives to win..and not just spend our lives trying not to lose. So when you go through situations in your life be it this pregnancy or any other thing just know that what man belives not to be possible. God can turn it to be possible.
