Hi there!!! My name is Katy, I am 22 years old. I was married on February 26th, 2007. I found out I was pregnant in October of 2007 after a few months of trying for a baby. We had complications early in pregnancy resulting in the loss of one of the twins I was carrying. The rest of my pregnancy was pretty normal. We welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Addison Dawn on June 27th, 2008. Weighing 7 lbs, 9 oz and 21 inches long. I absolutly love this site, I have met many great people here. I dont think I could have kept sane during pregnancy without some of my great friends on here!!! I have recently deleted my pregnancy blogs and pictures to start my new life as a mommy, so my page will now consist with new pics and blogs about her.

Wow its been so long since ive been on the site mostly because i have 2 online classes a 5mth old planning a wedding, and myspace, if you ladies want to contact me there www.myspace.com/keia03 or facebook Jessica Willis. Well me in Jordyn are doing well, she will be 6mth on the 21st, boy time does fly, ladies cherish and capture every moment. Jordyn is rolling over both ways, sitting up, growing teeth, scoots with her feet while on her stomach. I must say her personality is starting to show. At 4ths she weight 16 lbs 2oz in 26ins long. I cant wait til the 24th to see how much she weights. I promise i will keep u posted on up coming developments. Ive posted new pics aswell

Hi Katy! I'm so glad to hear from you! I'm sorry I haven't written more, I went back to work and we don't have internet at home anymore, so I don't like to be online at work for longer than I have to be. Anyway, we're doing great! I work during the day, while my hubby stays home with our little man. Then while he works at night, I stay home with him. So we're avoiding having to put him in daycare, and we're both working. It's a great soluation for us. After my school contract ends in June, I'll become a stay at home mommy again, so I'm really looking forward to that. We've been able to save up a ton of money, and buy stuff for the kids we've been wanting for so long. So we're doing great. How are you guys doing? I looked at all your stuff, and Addison is adorable! She's the cutest thing ever. Well I have to get to work, but let me know how you're doing ok? Talk to you soon!

Wow, I'm very, very impressed with your sleep schedule! and at 6 weeks! rose is 9 weeks now. I have the swaddleme,but somehow Rose just gets out of it. She undoes the velcro somehow and i can't figure out how! Now, she's in a sleep sack and that's working because it zips. I have that lotion and bubble bath. i'm going to try it this weekend when I can afford to wake up in the middle of the night if it doesn't work out!

When you get the year off, do you get paid of benefits? My job and insurance were protected for 12 weeks, but my pay ran out before 8 weeks. It's great that you can stay home. I really, really enjoy my work but would've loved 3 or 4 months at home. She's still so teeny.

When did she start sleeping from 8 to 8? I love your routine. I'm going to try that. I hope to train her to sleep 10 hours by 4 months.

I do live in the states,California actually. Our maternity leave is absurd. I had to use up all of my sick leave and wasn't even paid for some of it. If I get sick any time in the next year (or Rose gets sick), I'm not getting paid.

How did you get Addison on that sleep schedule??? Rose has been sleeping from midnight until 6am since 3 weeks. I'd like it to be 10 to 6, but that's not happening yet.

I love being a mommy, but I'm pretty tired right now. My little one is two months old now, and I just went back to work this week, so I'm absolutely wiped out! Luckily, Rose sleeps midnight to 6 and goes to a sitter across the street from my job so I can nurse her. Those two things make life a lot easier.
