I'm supposed to be 15 weeks pregnant as of tomorrow. Today was my first day enjoying being pregnant, as I didn't feel completely crappy. My belly feels like it's really been stretching in the last few days and I'm finally getting a bump, although most people probably just think I'm getting fat. I haven't gained any weight yet. I think today is the last day I'll be able to button up these particualr pants. Maybe it's time for the bella band to make an appearance.
I'm still not enjoying eating and I've learned I'm better off taking the diclectin for now. I also learned not to try to see how tough I am and stay home for three days with a migraine. I found out my blood pressure was rising during them and I'm better off being medicated. So I've bought a blood pressure monitor and go to the ER after 24 hours of pain whether my BP is up or not.
It's Feb 12th and I think I felt the baby move this morning. It just felt like a little flutter. I'm feeling better this week even though I have a migraine threatening. I've decided against going to Kimberley with my husband while he snowboards. I'd be the only female going this year, so I have no one to go to the spa with. And now that I can't drink and hot tub, winter vacation seems pretty boring.
Holy heartburn. Not even my good friend Eno is working

17 weeks today. So my belly started showing almost 2 weeks ago. I can't beleive how much it changes everyday. Someone who doesn't know me wouldn't know if I was pregnant or just chubby, but I sure can. Especially considering none of my old pants fit, other than the yoga pants. My Husband loves that my belly is showing now, which makes me feel a lot better about the looking fatter part.
I haven't gained any weight, but that's not a big deal. I guess those of us who are really sick in the beginning don't put on the weight until 18, 19 weeks sometime. I've also been able to feel the baby move when I go to bed at night and when I wake up, so that's pretty exciting.

I had my mat check up yesterday, and the doctor says my uterus is measuring closer to 20 weeks(I'm 18). Yesterday was also the day my belly button started hurting, can't say that that's much fun. My total weight gain for the pregnancy is 2.4lbs.
We went to our first prenatal class on tuesday. I took them once before when I was being my friends labor coach, but it was Spike's first time. It was ok, but I think the lady teaching it is too old for her job and was giving outdated advice that conflicts with more current research. She also scared the crap out of some soon to be new mom's and told them that if their baby had been very active and then seems not to be moving that it's cord was most likely wrapped around it's neck and dead inside of you. First of all, any pregnant woman who notices a drastic decrease in movement tends to assume the worst anyways, panics, and goes to the doctor or hospital. No one needs some crazy lady freaking them out, they need someone to let them know that the baby might be perfectly fine, so stay calm, go to the hospital to find out and don't jump to conclusions.

Well I'm 19 weeks today. My energy levels are getting better, but my ass and hips really hurt. Last night I was crying and couldn't sit down or get up without help from my husband. And I know it's only gonna get worse. I have an app with a doctor on the 20th who's gonna do an accupuncture treatment, and hopefully give me a prescription for something topical to decrease the burning/shooting/stabbing pain in my ass. We get our ultrasound on the 12th next week and hopefully we find out if it's a girl or boy.

20 weeks pregnant. We had an ultrasound yesterday, and it's dating our pregnancy about 3 days behind. But considering I "know" we did not conceive then, I'm gonna stick with the original due date. We found out we are most likely having a girl. We had to go to Medicine Hat for the ultrasound (one hour away) and I was so sick I almost had Spike turn back. I'd been throwing up since 3:30 in the morning and didn't know if I could even keep the water down needed for the ultrasound. But we got through it, and I finally quit vomiting, so it's all good now. At this point though, I'm not too excited about getting pregnant again to have a second kid.
