PROFILE UPDATE:

Hello all...i haven't had the chance to actually do some well needed updates to my page info that i posted when i was expecting DS. Feel free to still read it below but until i get a chance to edit and change all that let me give some of ya'll a quick overall update. After just one month of trying we recently discovered we are expecting #2 early May. We are extremely excited and anxious. Of course since we have our prince we are hoping for a princess but what we are praying for is a healthy baby. We will NOT AT ALL be disappointed if we find out we are expecting another boy....boys are alot of fun. Our babies will be 19 months apart. Jr. will be 1 on Sept 27th and we can not believe time has flown that fast. He has such a personality. I honestly believe he thinks he is 3 years old. He is such a good lil boy and we are so proud of him. That is my pride and joy. Just last month i returned to college after being a SAHM for 10 months. Ugh its still tough on me being without my baby. Its going to be tough next fall when i have to leave both of them, maybe i'll try the online thing. Anyways ladies, i try to inform you ladies in my blogs so check them out when you can. I'm so anxious to see how this pregnancy will be. Wish me luck ladies.

&& The intro...

Well 2 start off my name is La"Keisha" and I am 20 years young. I am happily engaged to a wonderful 23 year young man named Juan. He is my everything and is the reason why I believe God put me on this earth. I attend Fayetteville State University full-time [now out until next Spring semester] majoring in Banking and Finance [i absolutely love math]. I worked part-time at a local store as a sales associate up until my 9th month of pregnancy now Hubby wants me to be a full time SAHM. He on the other hand works hard all week (most of the time AND weekend) to provide for his family as a Deputy Sheriff in our county.

&& This is when it all began...

I am so proud to say on January 16th i discovered we were expecting our first child together after taking [two] tests which both came out [clear as day] positives. I was so shocked [considering it was not planned].I still didn't believe it but there were the tests to prove it was true [i'm still in disbelief 2 this day]. So when my fiance came home from work that day I was still in mental shock he asked me why i was looking like my mind was somewhere else [i wasn't quite ready to tell him yet] so i just shrugged and told him i had a headache. Well later on that night as we got ready for bed I felt tears running down my face, i didn't know why i was crying [but i was]. He asked me what was wrong considering I never shed tears. I just shook my head and just sat there. He held me and begged me for what seemed like a whole hour for me to tell him what was wrong [although I knew there wasn't anything "wrong"]. After i got out of my own [mental zone] i blurted "WE'RE PREGNANT JUAN!!" I swear his neck snapped around like the girl off the Exorcist. He looked at me with the most glimmering eyes wearing the most proud smile i've ever seen and the first thing he said to me was "So, why are you crying?!" [if only he knew i was trying to ask myself that!] We got the best sleep that night...i was so happy i could give him the one thing he wanted most [a family] and so was he.

&& Everything started falling in place...the good and the bad

So it wasn't until a few weeks later [around 7 weeks] when I got the wake up call from pregnancy itself. Geez my freaking boobs were throbbing alll day and all night. Mind you pre preggo i was about 5'3 105 lbs wearing a 36C!!! The pain had got so bad i swear i wore sweatshirts just so i didn't have to wear a bra. Well right when i thought i had gotten used to that pain [DING DONG] here comes the "wonderful" m/s!! When it first came i was just very nauseous non-stop. Lucky me that didn't last long before i was [u know whating] "3 times every hour" [according to my fiance]. Before I got pregnant i honestly can't even remember the last time i had vomitted. As a child i rarely got sick [maybe a cold once every 3 years] and here i was making a run for the bathroom every chance i got! Oh let me not forget about the fatigue!! Of course at the time i was taking the max credits at my university and working just about everyday after my last class! I was so exhausted and slept all day every day I had off. So as this continued [around week 13] POP goes my belly! I never had any sort of bump, fat, extra baggage there so boy was i excited! All of a sudden i didn't care about throwing up all day, or having to use the bathroom a million times during the night, or always be so tired or my boobs feeling like they're about to explode! I began to realize it was all worth it...i had a lil one growing inside of me!

&& The wishes

So i was getting used to this "pregnancy" thing and I was becoming more and more excited everyday. My d/a's were going just fine and baby was growing healthy and so was mommy. My fiance and I started talking about our child's future and how bad we wanted a [lil man]. Nothing but girls run in both of our families...my mom has four girls and a granddaughter, his mom has 2 boys and 2 girls and a grandaughter. Once we had spread the word that we were expecting everyone kept saying [more like hoping] it was a boy. His family of course were so happy and excited as well. It would be the first grandson for both sides and would be our wish come true for a baby boy first! But [around week 17] i started convincing myself it was a girl. I didn't want to get my hopes up to bad and it was more of my way preparing myself for a girl knowing we wanted a boy so bad. After all girls do run in our families!!

&& It's a....

Well on [May 19th @ exactly 22weeks] we had our big u/s. I had prayed and prayed and prayed not for a boy not for a girl but for a healthy baby!!! Not only was our baby healthy but measuring bigger than average by a few weeks and weighting a whole 1lb 3oz but [IT WAS A BOY]!! I couldn't believe it when the tech told us, I looked at my fiance who stared at our [baby boy] on the screen with the biggest [Kool-Aid] smile i've ever seen. I nearly ran out of the hospital so i could get some signal to call and tell everyone the news! Of course i heard a lot of picking [i told u so's] but even more congrats! Right afterwards we went to the mall to meet my mom and show off our lil son, she was so excited to see her first grandson and wouldn't stop squealing!! Geez that woman bought so much stuff that day! He's so spoiled already!

&& Here we are now...

My lil poopah decided to give mommy a hard time...Juan DeMario Williams Jr. arrived 5 days late! He was born on September 27th @ 1:32 pm after 39 long hours of labor...but he was worth every second of it!! He was a big boy weighting 8lbs and 2oz and 20inches long with a head full of hair. He looks just like his handsome father. I love my boys more than anything! He is such a blessing and me and Daddy are so thankful God has given us him. He's a pretty good baby only cries when he needs a feeding or diaper change. He eats like a champ and i've started calling him my lil fat fat! LOL As the days go by he's getting bigger and bigger. Its sooo amazing to me how Jr. and Sr. have that bond [already]... Daddy has spoiled him already. Yes i'm going to put all the blame on daddy *wink wink* Daddy and I couldn't be any happier.
