Hey, nothing here yet!
Tuesday, 19 Feb
I had a previous account here, but had to cancel it after constant threats from not-so-friendly members. Anywho, I`m currently 20 weeks (even though this site still has me at week 19). On Monday, February 4, we found out that we re having a boy! Daddy (who is a pro wrestler) is very happy to have a son he can train later on. We`re naming him Jackson Owen. Jackson doesn`t move very much yet, although he gets very happy when I eat Italian food (especially pizza).

Wednesday, 21 May your husband shouldnt have said for you to go back to work. since i find out that i was pregnant he told me to stop working as it is my time that i need to bond with the baby 2 be and relax. do you want to go back to work? i know i want to but i am not going to until the bub gets to at least 6 months. there is help out there if you have money problems and dont feel bad for asking for help. this is your time to bond with your baby and you should be aloud to do it. i live in austraila and i know if i out my child in childcare it would cost at least $92 a day and the way i look at it is i will get just over $600 a wk from my job and that would cover childcare and a little left over. or i can stay at home with my baby and know its safe and i get to see everything it does first. i am thinking to go back to work while my man is home so we dont have to pay childcare but he told me not to as i will get to tried looking after the baby all day then working all night. i think you should talk to him and explain how important spending time with your baby bonding. if you want to go back to work there is nothing wrong with that but do it if you want to otherwise you wont forgive yourself later in time. good luck with everything and if you want to vent im here so just send a msg. 48 days to go for you know how exciting. 1sttymemom -

Saturday, 17 May Thanks for the info on the weird sharp-ish pain-in-the-cervix - I figure it is something like that (it also feels like the urethra slipping out of place or being pushed aside / stretched). My next midwife appointment isn't until Wed, so I'd be very interested to find out what your doctor says on Monday... proud mommy of two -

Monday, 5 May for sun burn i use aloe vera lotion, it's like gellie green or blue. Sometimes I even put on sunblock lotion for the burning and it seems to work. if your skin is hot you can put cold wash cloths on it before you put lotion on and just lay around in a sports bra or tank top. try not to have too much touch it because that can make it painful. !8-monubian -
Monday, 5 May # Apply undiluted apple cider vinegar to sunburn.
# Mix 10 ounces non-fat dry milk, 2 tablespoons salt and 25 ounces water. Saturate cloth and apply to sunburn 20 minutes.
# Apply mayonnaise as a skin cream to sunburn.
# Use Aloe plant, or pure aloe vera gel.
# Apply peanut oil to sun-burned areas.
# Apply thin slices of cold cucumbers, apples, or potato directly to the skin.
# Apply cold, plain yogurt, then rinse with cool water.
# Apply cold, used tea bags to sun-burned eyelids to relieve pain and swelling. ashawee08 -

Monday, 28 April hi and congrats! I just read your post about not being able to wear contacts during delivery, do you have any idea why? Becos i wear glasses and contacts too and really thought i'd prefer to use my contacts during birth since glasses can be such a bother sometimes. Blessings to you and your baby boy!!! Baronsmom -

Monday, 21 April It sucks that you are having a baby shower so far away. I understand you not really wanting to travel. Being so far along it will be miserable.
But sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
For my first I had 3 baby showers. 2 of them were on the same day. My mom threw the first one and my relatives on my dad's side decided to throw me one on the same day. It wasn't so bad, but it was sort of embarrassing that there was a stripper at the one my relatives threw for me.
But when it was all said and done, I got a lot of things and a cake to eat to myself. So I was pretty happy. rhonnott -
Thursday, 17 April I am at the end of week 27 (although on here I show 26 b/c the Dr moved my date up and I just haven't changed my date on the website!) and luckily I haven't had to remove my rings yet, but I had a friend that just had her baby and she had to remove her rings at 24 weeks. Her husband was a little upset so she went out and bought a cheap set ($10 I think!) that looked just like her real rings and she got them in a bigger size to wear while she was pregnant. He kept joking saying he could have got off a lot cheaper, but he was thrilled that she went to the point of finding some that looked the same so she would have something to wear! lanybug -
Wednesday, 2 April You should have nothing to worry about. With my first pregnancy my glucose test came back high the first time. What happens is they tell you to fast before you come in but what people do not keep in account is if they ate a high carb meal or even ate something sweet the night before when they went to bed. Do not worry my second test came back negative and everything from there went great. Good luck to you. veroki -
Monday, 31 Mar i had just lost 76 lbs before falling pregnant, my biggest was 262 lbs and now with weight gain so far im back up to 226, im sooo scared of getting back up to my biggest, with 14 weeks left it doesnt seem too far fetched. stretch marks ive had for years so i dont think twice about them, i haven gotton any new ones though, just old one from when i was fatter that are still white. erin05 -
Friday, 28 Mar I also think it is so frusterating that we don't have any support here in the US. Actually it's sad. I never knew other countries had so many more benefits it's kind of shocking. sandj -
Tuesday, 18 Mar Hey, I have already had 3 big baby boys (8lb 8oz, 10lb 6oz & 9lb 7oz). I had them all naturally, and it's really not that bad. Actually the labour with my largest boy was probably the best of the lot, and that's the one where I didn't have ANY drugs at all. smerty -
