I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

When I go into labor I don't feel any pain at all until the end stage labor, when it is time to push. Our second son was almost born in the freeway! My last three have all been induced, basically to control the delivery because once they break my water, I have about 1-2 hours before the baby is born. I have regular contractions but do not feel them, other than pressure in my pelvic area with each contraction. In your case, it would be wise to at least go get checked once your water breaks because having a super fast delivery might soud nice, but I don't think it would be nice if you don't get to the hospital.

Hi there! I saw your post on the labor signs thing. With my first I was induced. With my second and third, I never realized when I was in early labor. They have been 27, 13, and 8 hours respectively. I called my midwife, who takes about an hour to get here, 2 hours before I delivered with the last one because I didn't think I was that far along until then. This time, at the rate I'm going, I'm looking around 4 hours or so (I hope), and I'm worried by the time I realize it, the midwife won't make it! (We do homebirths, but I'd still like to have SOMEONE here...and my husband also works about 45 minutes away.) BTW, my 4 yo wants our baby's name to be Hermione if it's a girl ;0) My cousin is a HUGE Snape fan.

I am doing good. I have been a little worried about the baby, but I know that he is ok. I just want to be able to hear his heart beat everyday to make sure he is ok. I hope to be getting one of those moniters soon. I almost do not want to spend that kind of money though. I guess I culd turn around and sell it right? I am so sorry that you are still sick. Maybe you will get better soon. Talk to you soon

OH WOW your first son was born on my birthday. All of your kids birthdays are close together. That is really cool. I tried to get mine all closer but just did not work out that way.

Thanks for the comment. We were not really planning on having anymore after my 3 year old was born. This pregnancy came as a big surprise for us. I have decided to get my tubes tied after this one is born so there will be no more accidents on the way. I don't think that my body can take much more pregnancies. Happy pregnancy!!!
