I'm 42 years old and I'm married to my best friend and he was worth the wait. Although we met in high school, we lost touch for 20 years only to meet up again and fall in love. I never thought I'd want children...that is until I found "the one". We got pregnant within the first 2 months of trying. We were thrilled.

We found out we lost our baby in September, 2008. I thought I was 9 weeks pregnant but found out that the baby had died at 6/5. I went on to have a natural miscarriage which was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life.

We were blessed enough to get pregnant again February, 2009. Unfortunately, we didn't make it again - this time we lost our baby just before 9 weeks.

Hi ladies, me again lol.
I had my appointment with the consultant today and she said I might as well have another u/s while I was there - I wasn't going to argue with her!! Baby was 3mm on friday and 5.2mm today
Hopefully that means everything is going ok so far. Fingers crossed for the next 34 weeks, lol xx

In pediatrics at Saint Marys Hospital... Around 9 pm, Madisyn quit breathing. My husband called 911 and I performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. It took 2 miles of emergency ambulance care before she was breathing on her own. She is stabelized as of right now. So far we have no answers as to why this happened... Please pray for our baby girl! I don't know that I have ever been so scared in my entire life.

So... Lost the mucus plug today. Back hurts like crazy and have had diarreha all day!!! Hopefully this is a good sign that little Carter will be here sooner than later!!! I was wondering how long after you all lost your plug did you go into labor? I know everyone is different but I am thinking it is coming soon

Hi everyone,
I want to say thank you so much to all of you that commented on my blog and... we have a heartbeat
I called the EPU this morning and they said to come straight in. The u/s tech saw the hb straight away and as soon as she saw it she turned the screen round so I could see it too. She has me dated at 5+4 which sounds about right to me.
I am so relieved but I am also aware that it is early days.

Thanks for checkin in! ; ) I actually had my 8 week ultrasound today (a day early) and saw the little bean with a heart rate of 161 and was SO relieved! As you can understand I'm sure, I'm still apprehensive and worried and afraid to fully let myself believe this will go to term..but I'm trying to keep positive! I think I'll feel A LOT better if everything is still good at 12 weeks. It's almost trying time for you sister!!! Best of luck, you've worked really hard to get here...time for the pay off!! ; ) Keep me posted.

Karson poked his eye yesterday and it was bright red on the inside corner of his eye. I was worried he scratched it so took him to the Dr, and they put the dye in it and looked at it with a black light! Luckily no scratch, but it wiil take 3-4 weeks for the blood to re-absorbe. It looks terrible but it's not bothering him! I felt so bad for him
