Hello all,

My name is Shelly and this is my 3rd baby. Let me start out by saying that the Lord knows your heart. My past pregnancies were always complicated and I would always say that I didn't want anymore children. As the years went by I started having thoughts of having a baby girl. I would dream about when she would go to prom or dances and to go shopping together. But I would never admit to wanting another baby because of the sickness that I would experience. Then the baby bug bit my husband and he started having the fever for a baby girl. So we started talking about it and I would still refuse. So one day I told him that the only way I would have another baby is if I could come off my job. Well, God works amazingly and the power of the tongue is amazing because the wind picks up your words. Circumstances happened and I haven't worked since April and three weeks after leaving my job I found out that I was pregnant.

It hasn't been an easy journey. I was constantly sick and nauseous every day, all day. I went from 215 lbs to 199 lbs. I couldn't eat anything but soup broth and water. It was awful! But I thank God that I made it and the Lord knew what I could bare. Not knowing when the sickness would leave is what made me nervous! My 1st pregrancy I was sick until my 7 month and my 2nd pregnancy I was sick until my 5 month. After my 14th week of being pregnant the sickness started to go away. My oldest son would come to my room before he went to bed and grab my hand and pray for me. I really believe that because of his prayers that I was healed. I had my ultrasound done at 5 months and discovered we are having a girl! My entire family and my husband's family were so excited. Now my family will be complete. I'm blessed and thankful that the Lord answers prayer and he gives you the desire of your heart.
