My precious 4 year old son! Wow has he grown! He's so excited for his brother or sister ;-)

My son, Denny, drew a picture of me (or I would say Curious George) on my belly when I was 26 weeks. What a little artist!

Birth Story!
I had a Dr. appt on Thursday and my baby failed the "non-stress" test so I was told to go back to the Dr. on Friday and try again. Baby failed again so I was sent to the hospital for an ultrasound. Everything looked great except for the fact that my baby wouldn't make any big movements so they decided to induce me on Sat. Oct 6th. I went into hospital at noon on Saturday and they monitored me for 2 hrs and decided it was time to get things rolling. My Dr. came in and gave me a dose of Cytotek. He said it would take 4-6 hrs to kick in. He was right... Right at 8pm I started having contractions every 2-3 minutes but they did not hurt at all. They were like easy menstural cramps. He checked me at 8pm and I was 1cm dialated (same as when I came to the hospital). He said he would give me a few more hours and check me again. At 11pm he checked me again and I was only 2cm. He said he wanted to start me on pitocin or break my water. We decided to break my water. As my contractions were still very simple, 30 minutes after he broke my water they started, so I would consider labor actually beginning at 11:30pm on Oct 6th. At 12:20am on the 7th (not even 1 hr later) I had went from 2-4 cm. Yeah! I was making progress! Within 20 minutes I started freaking out as my pain was OUT OF CONTROL! I wasn't going to have an epideral, but at this point, I considered it since I was only 4cm. Nurse said, lets check you before we go that route. I wasn't 4cm, but had went to 6-7 cm in that 20 min! She gave me phentenol (sp) so "take the edge off" and said she could give me a dose every 20 min. 10 min after my 1st dose I screamed for my husband to push the nurse button as I was pushing!!! 4 nurses and 2 woman Dr.'s were in the room within seconds. One of them said "Don't let her push!" Another nurse said, "Too late, the head is crowing." They set up within 2 minutes and I pushed twice and my baby girl Haley Joyce was born at 1:24am. I had went from 1cm at 11pm to having her born less than 2 hours! It was scary because it went so fast, but boy what a miracle! My Dr. was 8 minutes late and missed the delivery, but he was there to help stitch me up. I tore due to pushing her out so quickly! Also, her sex was a surprise so that was awesome! We have a 4 year old boy and our family is now complete with our little girl! Here are a few pics of her!! Also, she was 6lb 11oz and 20 inches long!
