I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hey it's all so confusing.. i was almost positive i was pregnant but i'm having weird tests.. and tonight there's some bleeding but i can't tell yet if it's a period.. i haven't had more than a day of bleeding since jan. 8 .. let me know what you find out. i think i'm gonna go get a blood test, but it sounds like we're in a very similar boat.

Congrats! It's hard not to worry- I spotted 2x and have had cramps all 7 weeks so far. Went to the dr. and the u/s was normal. Everyone is different. If you are worried, definitely call your Dr. and tell them you're pregnant and think something is wrong. Don't even let them know that you aren't sure yet. It's amazing how quickly they'll take care of you when you tell them something's wrong. And knowing is much better than not knowing. Chin up, girl- I'll be praying for ya.

Hi

I have had negative tests before and still been pregnant.

No matter how many times someone tells you spotting can be normal, I know it does not stop you worrying. I am 6 wks and I have had 2 bleeds but everything is ok so far.

Spotting could be an implantation bleed. If you worried consult your doctor and asked to be seen earlier. Not sure if you can?

I am sure everything will be fine, no matter what, there is hope and everything is for a reason.

Some women do spot through their 1st trimester, so you could still be prego. Throwing baby dust your way!!Not to let you down, but i started spotting 3 days after i got a + in Oct & it led to a m/c.Doc said baby never made it to my uterus, but i was getting preg symptoms cuz my body was preparing.1 out of every 3 pregnancies end in m/c before you know it, making you think you period was just late.If it's red then there might be some worry but if its brown, it could be just old blood from your last period. Keep your head up, its in gods hands.GOOD LUCK & Best Wishes!!!

not to sound like a broken record but everyone is different...BUT my friend had her period the whole pregnancy and baby is fine! she didn't even realize she was pregnant until almost 10 weeks because of it..good luck. :)

Hi msjroc04, I had the same problem my cycle came on the same day as ur and I had taken so many test and all cam back neg and on the 24th I was spotting and the 25th on all the way. I was hurt and also I felt better knowing that I can at lest try next month sense I kept gettin BFN. So it came on and now I can try next mont for that BFP. So good luck and I wish you lots, lots, lots, of baby dust. Keep ur head up

Sometimes this is perfectly normal, i have been pregnant and it be undetectable through urine because your estrogen levels are not high enough yet. So until you have a blood test and it says negative function as if you are pregnant, which i think you are!!! Baby Dust to you!!

last period was jan 13 for me feb 21 i got a neg & 22nd pos sooo soo light. So you could be a late ovulator, good luck!
