IT' S A GIRL!!!!!
12/3 today we go to get our ultrasound to find out what we are having!!! so excited.. I just want a healthy baby :o) I will be sure to update when we get back!
Hi! My name is Maggie and my husband and I just got married on March 31, 2007! :o) We have been together for a little over 2 years and I have a daughter that is going to be 7 yrs ol (can't believe it) and he has two younger sons. So we are instantly a big family... but that didn't stop us from wanting one together. We are originally from Seattle, WA but recently moved to Arizona.. BIG change but loving it. When we were together about a year ago, I got pregnant and had a miscarriage.. it was a really hard time for us, but we got through it. Right before our wedding in March, I got my period but it never went away. I went to the Dr and they told me I was pregnant and had a Tubal. So I got my shot and thought it would be ok.. but it wasn't. I continued to bleed a lot and had to deal with a wedding on top of that.. I didn't stop bleeding for 9 weeks.. when I finally got back from my honeymoon (poor husband got no lovin on that special day or week) I went back to the Dr and again, they just gave me another shot and said this should take care of it.. well it didn't. I ended up getting SOO sick out both ends if you know what I mean, high fever, it was terrible. I finally called my Dr and said if you don't get me in right now I am going to the ER.. they got me in and did another ultrasound and my tube was the size of a golf ball and it had managed to start wrapping itself around my bowel.. which is why I was soooo sick! So, I recovered from that and then we moved... I got a Dr down in AZ and he said it would be really hard for me to get pregnant due to all of my complications and i would most likely have more tubals... well 2 months later, I was pregnant. We werent' trying and we weren't preventing either... My doctor still tells me everytime i go in there what a miracle I am and this baby is! So we are so excited.. I just got my test results back yesterday (11/28/07) on all the Downs, Spinal Bifida etc.. and it was all normal!
We have our ultrasound on Monday Dec. 3rd.. to find out the ex and make sure all is well with the little bugger... I have a girl and he has two boys so whatever we have will be great! Just as long as it's healthy.
I have already had a C-section with my daughter so that will have to happen again since I also had double hernia surgery so pushing is a little out of the question.. plus with my tubal surgery it's just not a rish I want to take...
I love reading all of your comments and look forward to talking to you all!
I will post what we find out on Monday..
