Monday 10th March
Daddy felt baby move this evening!!!! Just a little bumping, but he definitely felt it move twice!!!

Mon 28/01/08

We had our 12 week scan today and everything looks fine. We saw babies, head, brain, legs and arms, heart and stomach. They measured the neck and I get the results in a week, hopefully all will be ok. I can't wait for the 3rd April for our 22 week scan so we can find out what sex the baby is!! Our new due date is 7th August!!

I had the most awesome experience today, I went to my midwife for my first appointment and they offered to listen for the baby's heart beat. I got to hear the beat for the first time!!! It was magical and I felt like crying because I had been worrying about the baby!

It was the most beautiful sound in the world!!!

Wed 16/01/08

I have been bleeding since yesterday and passing clots, today we went for a scan to check the baby out, and all seems to be okay thank goodness.

There is no apparent reason for the bleeding and they have said that they can't say for sure that we wont loose the baby, but for now the baby looks fine. I just have to take it easy.

Please hold thumbs....sticky baby dust to all.

YAY! We have just come back from a u/s to check viability and I am very pleased to say that the little beans heart was beating away! You could see it so clearly!!

Hubby and I are thrilled that all is well so far!!! Best xmas present ever!

SUN 16/12/07

I fell down the stairs last night whilst going to let my cat in. I fell pretty hard and tried to land flat and not on my butt. God, I hope that everything is ok with the baby.

This morning I went to the doctor for a follow up appointment from last week due to pain on my right handside. I was sent to the early pregnancy unit for a scan.

They could see that the baby is in the right place, which I am relieved about as I was worried that it might be an ectopic pregnancy due to the pain. As I am 5.5weeks they couldn't tell if the heart was beating yet, but the Dr did say that she thinks she saw a flutter but that she can't be certain due to the PC screen resolution. So I have a follow up appointment for a scan next week! :)

I got a pic of the little foetal pole and sac.

Hold thumbs for next week that we get to see the heart beating!

I don't seem to have anymore bleeding since yesterday morning, I am hoping that all is ok.

We really want this baby, I can't imagine going through another miscarriage.

I am back!

After having a miscarriage in October when I was 12 weeks, I am now back! I am pregnant again! YAY! I did a test 4 days before I was due for AF as I just knew I was pregnant.

We are not going to tell anyone this time around until we have our scan at 12 weeks. I am finding it very hard not to tell my mother and my husbands mom, as they were both so sad when I lost the baby.

I am very scared, trying not to be too excited in case I loose this baby too.

That window seems ridiculous to me. Babies aren't even post-dates until 2 weeks. I would really talk this through with your MW and see why she sets such a restriction. Maybe you could do an NST and AFI if you go over by more than 5 days to "prove" to her that a homebirth is safe for you/him!?

Have a dr's appt today, trying to decide if i can fight the temptation to check "down there" for any action. Sure would just like to know when i get to meet him. The "anytime between now and 8/21" is killing me! Why do you have to deliver at hospital if you're only 1 day overdue?? Keep on your feet, Mama!

It is amazing that you still are sick off and on. Is it more in the morning or evening?

I have had the one ultra sound at 6 weeks...we saw one baby. And we have listened to the heartbeat a lot...one heartbeat. But Yet again we don't check for another one. What do you think the possiblities are for missing one in there??? Well I guess we will know for sure on August 20th at our 20 week app. We will have our BIG U.S. and find out the sex!!! YEAH!
