So here goes nothing. Im on my second. I was blessed with a Lil Boy In June of 04. And here we are 4 yrs later... On Number 2.
You know how they says kids know .. well, hes saying its 2 babies..lol So lets hope hes wrong..lol One would be perfectly fine. Im also engaged and Due Sept 11. WHich was supposed to be the wedding date so naturally we had to change the date.
What are the chances of making a baby due on your wedding day! WAY TO GO ME!
I am very excited though. This preganancy has been EXTREMELY DIFFERENT since the very begging. From the morning sickness ( lasting ALL DAY) to the cravings of everything., to the sleepless nights, to the aches and pains and just uncomfort.
With my first pregnancy, I delivered Via C-Section and I had 3 epidurals.. YES I SAID 3!!! So now im havind minor back problems because of that but its nothing i cant handle..
Basically now im just trying to make it out of the first trimester mark so I can relax a lil. 12 weeks can be a long time huh..lol

Ryleigh had her 4 month appointment this morning. She's does great getting her shots. I think it pisses
her off more than it hurts. She's cries briefly and moves on. LOVE IT.I have to mention this before I tell you all her great news. The other night I gave her a bath about 730 or 745 pm. She was super sleepy. 8 pm is her normal bedtime. I laid her down in her crib, turned on her Sounds of the Ocean cd, and closed the door behind me. My beautiful daughter was sleep
in less than 15 minutes. I tried it again last night with the same results. LOVE IT!!!!! No rocking, no holding, nothing just sleep.YEAH!!!!!
This morning she finally decided to roll over by herself. I was super excited.
She doesn't like being on her tummy so getting her to turn over was hard work. I worked with her every nite helping her to roll over and she finally did it. I'm so proud of her.She does NOT like the rice cereal. Bless her heart.
Ok now on to the doc visit. She loves her doctor. :lub She's 14.5 lbs and 25 and something inches long. Everyone thinks she 6 months old because she's so long.
LOL He was impressed with her holding her own bottle and how talkative and alert she is. He called her name and she look up at him. So cute. Gotta love my little angel. She's such a sweet heart.

Every little thing either causes me to scream or cry lol!! I am just ready to go walking some more cuz i have a doc appt tuesday and i better be dialated this time! I went monday and he said my cervix is still closed so i have been walking the past couple of days. it was good to hear from you, write me when u get a min!!

I had actually paid for a gender determination scan too... and they said definitely a girl. But then at my Anomaly scan they said definitely a boy because they did the view up between the legs and it showed just a big sack - aka scrotum! So, who do I trust?! I also had a sonographer friend look at my pics and she says boy... but she said boy from the pics the gender determination scan! Have a look at the pic where my baby looks like he is kissing my uterus wall and you can see what looks like a penis down the end area...
It's so frustrating and confusing that we paid for the scan and now I'm not sure!
I sent the Scan place an email outlining my disgust that they got it wrong but they have not replied - even after I set a follow up! I just want to know why they are avoiding sending me a reply! Arghh
Anyhoo - all is otherwise absolutely perfect with my little bundle and I am enjoying feeling him/her move around inside!

Ok so I know it's been a few days but we went to TN for the weekend. I couldn't get a signal for my cell let alone get online. We had fun though. We wanted to go white water rafting but couldn't because we had no one to watch little mama. So we went shopping instead. LOL
I'm sorry you are going though that with your husband. That sucks. But Kenya wasn't around during my pregnancy. I felt as if I did that all by myself. I was pissed most of the time because she was out at the club or something. I'm thinking what if something happens and I need you. I'd be stuck because she was out or too drunk to drive me. Now she's always there. She can't get enough of Ryleigh. So I don't know maybe it will change once the baby gets here.
We, my babysistter and I, are slowly breaking her from wanting to be held all the time. It's a process.

That is crazy! I just don't know what to expect with this baby at all! I gained 45 lbs with my 1st daughter and she only weighed 6 lbs 6 ozs. With this pregnancy i have only gained 9 lbs.....so I don't know how much she will weigh. It kinda scares me b/c I am super scared this time around anyway, all i need is to pop out an 8 pounder lol. Maybe you will get to be induced..thats how i was and it was wonderful, no pain to speak of, that is why i am so scared this time b/c i didn't experience actual labor. Idk, keep me updated and let me know!

Hey! Omg, how do u know how much she weighs? They wouldn't tell me at my 3d and my doc says there is really no way to tell w/o another u/s which my insurance won't pay for another....my first weighed 6lbs 6ozs so I am guessing this one will be in the same ball park. idk this pregnancy has been totally diff from my first! I posted a few new pics I took this past weekend. My tummy is flat but.... I'm still 20lbs overweight. I had to break down and buy some bigger jeans. I'm sad but I still look FAB!!!

Yes the fishnets fit me and I was happy to wear them. I always wear thongs even on my cycle so I don't have many regular drawers ya know. So having the fishnets was good for me. I'm sorry you got all that junk in the trunk and they won't fit you. That's what you get for being so sexy. LOL
Ok please tell me why Ryleigh refused to take a nap longer than 20 minutes yesterday. I mean she'd lay down and 10 minutes later she's up or 20 minutes. That went on from 11am to 10pm last night. Now it'd be different if her tail slept all night long but she doesn't so what's the point of her being up all damn day long. Girl I needed a nap so bad I was delirious.

I know the folks at my job were like - um please dont' have that baby here. None of us can help you. Had I actually worked a full day, I would have. LOL that would of been hilarious. Well maybe not.
I wish I could get enough sleep. *sigh* I had to change up the schedule so I could get a few more hours. I am now bathing her at nite instead of the morning and putting her to sleep. Last nite was much better.
I hate when people say "good hair". It feeds into those stereotypes and creates predjudice within the black community. We have enough issues without folks harpin on who has what kind of hair. It's just stupid. Even though we grew up in an all white neighborhood and folks assumed we had money (my mom had good credit) I never felt like I was too good to hang with the folks in the projects. I had all types of friends. Although I am scared of roaches so hanging out in the projects was a challenge. I'd be rett to go immediately. But I had white friends, ghetto friends, middle class friends etc... I guess when you get teased growing up you tend to be less judgemental on other people.
I never finished packing my bag. LOL I was due on that Sunday and didn't have my bag packed. I also preferred the net undies they gave you since you bleed so heavy. I'd rather mess up their stuff than my own. I used their pads that they gave you too. I took everything that wasn't bolted down in that hospital room. Hell I paid for it. I'm going to damn sure use it.
