i already gave birth on my baby... it was early as we expected... my due date was on oct. 23 but i give birth on oct. 7... it was a painful but my very happy delivery cause i finally saw my baby... i post his picture... enjoy seeing them... wish you all the luck in your pregnancy,..

On October 3rd,2008. I woke up with lots of edema in my feet, hands, and face. I also felt like crap that day!! I went to work for the day, 9-5pm. I am a Registered nurse so I checked my pressure and it was 149/98 when normally was 90/60 throughout my pregnancy. I also checked my own urine at my office and it showed high levels of protein. I knew then I had to see my Doctor, she was unavailable. I phoned the hospital for advice and they reccomended to come in to get checked. I had no Signs of Labor!! At 6:30 pm, we went to the hospital. I thought we would be there for an hour max and they would send me home. The Doctor came in at 6:45pm examined me and my Blood Pressure was then 176/110. By 7:00pm the Doctor had informed me that they were taking me for an emergency section at 7:50pm. I was in shock, everything was happening so fast. I was in the OR by 8pm. The baby was doing well , however, they were concerned that I would stroke or have other complications. So a Section was the only safe way to delivery this baby. They gave me a spinal, so I was awake throughtout the surgery. Miss Hallie was born at 8:31pm. She weighed 5pounds 10 oz and was 19 inches long. My husband was present for the delivery. I did have a bleed during the surgery due to my pressure. When I was Young I was in a major car crash and was told then I couldn`t have children. So this is our first child and she is Our Lil Miracle. We are so blessed to have this little gift from GOD.

The first night was hard because of the pain and not being able to move around. By the second day I was walking around and was able to enjoy our little girl! I had her on Friday and was released from the hospital on Tuesday!!! I am so glad to be home!!!

I hope that you continue to get better. I know about the stomach muscles, with my c-section it was well over a year before I felt like they were getting strong again. I think that when I get the pain I will just try to take it easy. I took my son to the store and had the pain when I sneezed, laughed, and just while I was sitting there driving. I need to drink more water, so maybe it was a contraction I don't know. I never had one contraction with my son. LOL. Weird to think of someone having a baby and not knowing what a contraction feels like.

can you describe the hernia, or what you may have done to get it. I had felt two really sharp pains around the ares where you would pull it. I have had ligimate pulls, and those are different from this.
