8/01/2008- Im 21 weeks this friday when i have my scan! Im really excited but nervous too!I believe i have had a healthy pregnancy, i have been feeling the baby move loads especially in the evenings whilst im watching tv! I havent played any music to baby yet though, dont really know what to play!Im feeling fine and not so tired but lack of energy!Anyway anyone wants to chat, send me a message!

09/01/2008-Nothing much to say today!Feeling fine bought a little coat(unisex obviously)Babys kicked now and again but im sure by 6 tonight it will start its regular kicking!!!!! I cant believe how strong they are though, some times i jump!Im really bored though,think im gonna put feet up and watch a dvd!Only 2 days and we hopefully will find out the sex!

11/01/2008-Today went for scan and everything looks great all up to date with size and health! We decided to find out what the sex is from the start so we could get organised and im a bit of a organisation freak, ANYWAY we asked what the sex was the man zoomed between the legs and he said he hadnt a clue! Im not sure what males bits are meant to look like but it looked flat def couldnt see any male parts so we think we are having a girl! Luke decided that for my b'day present he'd pay for a 4D!If anyone else has had this problem, please email me!!!!!! Bought a few bits obviously neutral colours!I will put new scan pic online!!!!

14/01/2008-Tonight luke booked our 4d scan for 9th Feb!we get a free dvd which will be a great thing to keep!Went shopping and bought a few bits, im loving this baby shopping business, gives me a excuse to shop and spend money!hehe!I also found out that my partners brothers girlfriend is expecting shes due sept time so 4 months after me, so thats exciting!As we have just bought our first home we had to sell all our other furniture and by new to fit in house, i still havent got a sofa and it doesnt get delivered until march!!!!We are living off 2 hard chairs so my butt constantly feels dead!Anyway if anyone wants to chat im always willing to talk babies!!

16/01/2008-WELL i have loads to add today! Yesterday went for 21 week check up and they found out my blood group is group A rhesus negative,Which i inherited from my mum, thanks mum!Which means i have the rarest blood group!Over the weekend the ironing board fell over and one of the legs hit my stomach, it left a red mark for about 30mins, i felt the baby move over the next couple of days so i wasnt too worried and just mentioned it to the midwife, she advised me that because of my rare blood group if i had some internal bleeding from the ironing board in the placenta and it mixed with babies could cause some problems and i would need to be rushed to hospital immediately where i would have blood tests and and an anti d injection soooo me and Luke sat at hospital for 5 hours!If anyone else has this blood group it would be great to chaT!!!!Oh and we heard heartbeat it was 143 beats per min and sounded very healthy!

20/01/2008- 22 weeks and 2 days-Hi all, not much to say been really busy decorating house, not me so much but poor luke! Im getting closer to my 4d scan which i look forward to and booked my driving test, i wanna pass before baby comes, i have always had luke to drive me about so it was never and issue but i wanna do it for babys sake now and of course a little indepence!Lukes sanding floors and its soooo noisy! Im getting a little more tired again now, finding it hard to stay awake! Still wondering if im having a boy or girl, still cant believe i couldnt find out!I have been feeling suddenly really dizzy now & again, i think its because im so hungry!!!!

26/01/2008-My bump is really starting to get big now, no stretch marks so far!!yay!Im hoping i wont as my mum hasnt and either has my nan!Baby is kicking loads now, i feel its kicking more than it should though as today it must of kicked overall about 40 times!I also keep thinking that im going to have baby earlier than my due date, i just feel it, anyone else feel this way?we are sleeping in our lounge at moment while our floors are sanded, on a mattress, really not good for pregnant lady!MY BIRTHDAY ON MONDAY-HAPPY 21ST!

05/02/2008- Hi, well not much happening, been thinking about labor more and what its going to feel like!I almost forget i have gotta go through all that as pregnancy has been so pleasent! Had really bad leg cramps at night and in feet, cant seem to shift them!!! Had a little mucus yesterday downstairs was told it was a little of my mucus plug!!!! Had no sleep last night so going to relax today and watch dvd. My birthday party was interesting, i couldnt eat any of the prawns!!!!!!!! ; - ( Anyway had better go!!!!Oh and babies kicking constantly i would feel strange if i didnt feel he/she, 4D scan on Sat!!!!!!!!

09/02/2008-Well today was excellent been one of my most amazing days of pregnancy went for 4d scan, it was fantastic, we got 51 colour pictures on cd rom, 22 min dvd and some prints in black and white.She was really active so we managed to get some really cute pictures, on the dvd she smiles a few times and sucks her hand!!! We asked what the sex was obviously due to our not knowing and they said its a girl!!!!!! So we are holding them to that!Excellent day and well worth the money, im really glad we went their as the ladies who done it were really interested and instead of a 15 min one we got at least half an hour and loads of extras!I would recommend it to anyone!

22/02/2008- Havent updated page in a few days so thought i would, i have a bad cold! ; - ( I keep sneezing and feel baby jump, it makes me feel awful!!! My next appointment at docs coming up 04/03/08 i have got to have an anti d injection also, great!!!Getting closer until i see my little baby im really excited though, painted nusery at weekend its a soft cream, i will add pics once i have done the nursery,obviously the cot wont be in there as its meant to be bad luck so i dont dare!!!!!!!Getting bigger now, will put another pic up but no other changes!!!!!!!!Gums kill!

05/03/2008-Yesterday went for midwife app, had blood tests to test for anemia also had anti d injection!Not nice!!!!hehe!Heard babys heartbeat, midwife thinks im having a boy because of heartbeat although we were told girl at scan which is more accurate, but i think we will go by scan!Starting to get tired again like the first trimester!Next appointment is 8/04/2008.She measured my stomach said it was all perfect, so thats good, i have gained 14-15lbs maybe a touch more but its all out front so my legs ache all the time!My antenatal classes start 02/04/2008.Im measuring just right 29cms!!!! Hopefully no more injections until birth!

10/03/2008- Not much to report now, baby moving more than ever, i thought it would quiet down but seems to be more lively, have been seeing a little foot pop out of belly which is strange, but im loving the whole experience. Bought baby bath set today from Mothercare, has a little bear on it, really cute!I have put pic a bottom!!! Getting bored at home now, but i know i wont be for much longer! I dare say no major complaints as i always end up with something when i say that! Hope everyone else is doing well!

17/03/2008- Im feeling a little down today, ive been told its just my hormones and its totally normal! I think its the stress of the house as it still needs a lot of work and we have been stressing trying to get it all finished before baby comes!! I have felt great until the past 2 days and i seem to cry over anything and everything!!!!! Went shopping yesterday bought a baby rocker, will try attach picture to site for you to see!We are just trying to decide on bedding!!!!! 19/03/2008- Today feeling much better!Must of been my hormones!!!!!! Started organising hospital bag just incase and sorted through clothes, we have 20 vests!!!!!How we ever managed to have that many i will never know so i have told family no vests!!!!! I could open my own shop at this rate! Lukes mum buying cotbed which is handy we have just got to chose one!I cant believe babys gonna be here in 9 weeks, scary! Although i cant wait!!!!!I have a long drive to dorset this weekend to see the mother in law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I managed to get my maternity pay through yeah!!!We think we have found a bedding set we like but still not 100% sure. Speak Soon!

03/04/2008- Havent updated you all in a while, things still going well, have quite bad back ache though, hope thats not a sign of a big baby!Went to first antenatal class on wed, a little boring, i thought it was going to be breathing etc but its all text book stuff really, and i knew everything we were told! Baby really active limbs poking about in all places!!!! A bit exhausted today, i have also noticed that i have felt a little dizzy here and there, but i heard thats all normal in 3rd trimester. Midwife visit on Tues of Next week so hopefully will find out if babys moved! Not much else to say really, cant believe im in 33rd week tom!!!!!!

08/04/2008- Today went to see midwife, she said she thinks babys breech at moment, or it could be a bottom!hehe!I have my next app in 2 weeks so if baby still in same position will have a scan! But she still has plenty of time to move!!!! I hope she does! Heartbeat very strong 140bpm. Blood results came back all fine, Antenatal class tomorrow, we are discussing pain relief, so im not missing that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10/04/2008- Spoke about pain relief at antenatal, i always thought pethidine was worse than the epidural but actually you have alot more control with pethidine. My next app 22nd Apr if baby hasnt turned then i will go for scan and they will try and move her if i want or they will book me in for c-section a week before due date around 16th May? Luke has been putting his head on my stomach listening to her heartbeat! Saturday i go to health centre and watch a baby being bathed etc, so that should be fun!

18/04/2008- Im 35 weeks today, starting to feel really heavy, im sure i can not hold anymore weight, plus im all out front so my legs are struggling! Found out today that im off to cyprus in oct for a family wedding, so will be really strange taking baby away with us! Monday have health visitor coming to see me then tues see midwife will find out if baby has moved if not then ultra sound to see where baby is and if i need a c-section!!!!!! Im not bothered eitherway really as long as babys all healthy, im happy!Antenatal on Wed, breast feeding so that should be interesting! Watched a little 10 day old baby being bathed on sat at clinic was really good, obviously being a new mum it all feels scary because its new so its nice to go to the classes to gain a little knowledge. Anyway got some jobs to do, as usual, speak soon!

22/04/2008- Midwife appointment this morning she said babies head down and ready! I also complained of major itching (my stomach) she said to get in the bath with a sock or tights full of porridge oats!!???Heartbeat heard, everything going well so far. Not long to go now and feel anxious as well as excited! I would also like to say how sorry i am for Mollie who i met on this site my thoughts are with her and her family x . Nothing else id like to add, will keep you updated.If you wanna chat just send me a msg, maternity leave so boring!

28/04/2008- Going For sexing scan on friday, because at 4d scan they were quite sure i was having girl but some many people have said boy by the way im carrying its freaked me out and i dont want to buy anymore girly things until im sure!They said i might not be able to tell and have to go back if baby in awkward position!Its just for peace of mind although its costing me!Hope everyone else is well!This is my new moses bakset from Mothercare-

02/05/2008- Well went for wellbeing scan and to check shes def a she and she def is!!!!!! Shes looking really chubby now, they took baby in to 4d and printed a pic for luke, he little cheeks are all chubby and squashed together as she has no more room! Its so amazing to think a living baby is inside me and i will really miss her being there although only 20 days to go and i cant wait to meet her! She will be called Mia Rose Neave, Neave is Lukes surname which i will then take on once we are married, if we ever save up enough to do it! hehe! Baby is down but spine to spine so hopefully she will turn for me! Having a meal tonight out, so no cooking which is fab may be my last meal out for a while!!!!! My stomach is sooooo itchy, its awful, but im past the trying to prevent stretchmarks, i have them all over my belly now, they are my scars of carrying a wonderful gift. We also fly off to Cyprus end of sept, babies 1st holiday as my mums getting married, yes my mum, after 17 years together they thought they would tye the knot!hehe! So gotta get mia a little dress!

07/05/2008- Saw Midwife yesterday baby sideways but head down and enagaged! Heartbeat nice and strong, told her about severe itching on stretchmarks, i have been prescribed some allergy tablets for night and a aqueous cream and menthol for belly, i feel bad using meds so only took 1 tablet last night!Although the cream is really soothing on belly!I think its called PUPP The skin condition!Mias room is looking nicer now, just need some girly bits, bought some pink gingham curtains, cost me a fortune but will look really nice! I cant believe how pricey curtains are!!!Im having carpet fitted in house today so cant be long! Im enjoying all this hot weather is gorgeous but a total nightmare as havent a clue what to wear, i cant wait to put her in her little dresses!!!

12/05/2008- No sign of baby yet! My rash has got worse so off to doctors again tonight! Im getting so annoyed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I wish they would just induce me!!!!Well gonna go have some lunch now!

17/05/2008- Well rash a bit better now got some steroid cream! Baby hasnt arrived, although i have alot of pressure down below and some cramping on and off past 2/3 days! I see midwife tues so will chat about induction etc if i havent had little one by friday! Lukes birthday monday, would be funny if she arrived then, hes workin during the day but im cooking a meal for us monday night for his birthday. Im sooo bored this weekend as lukes fitting a bathroom for someone ALL weekend and im home alone, as per usual so would love baby to come! Well keep you all updated.

20/05/2008- Saw midwife today babys down low and fully engaged so any day now, she said if i hadnt had baby by next wed then i would go in and have membrane sweep but induction if needed would be around 2nd June, although im hoping baby will be here by then! Heard heatbeat sounded nice and strong!!!! Baby still pretty active though, its laid back just like its father but she will come when shes ready. Speak soon!

24/05/2008- Well 1 day past due date and went for walk today, been having some stronger contractions past 2 days so im hoping its a sign! I go for membrane sweep wednesday if nothing but we will see! Anyway better go!

27/05/2008-Im now officially 4 days over due!!!!!!!!!!!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! Only joking! I thought i was going into labour last night but had a shower and seemed to of calmed down!typical. I have membrane sweep tomorrow so see how that goes, everyone keeps ringing to see if i have given birth and its driving me crazy, i feel like screaming everytime the phone rings! She may surprise me and come today, lets see!!!

28/05/2008- MEMBRANE SWEEP DAY- Well today went and saw midwife she said head really low she could feel its head but she could only get one finger in cervix so im obviously not very dilated, booked my induction for monday unless i have baby before then, have either had bleeding or bloody show since membrane sweep as noticed when went to toilet, the sweep was uncomfortable but worth the try, im measuring 37 weeks still since baby dropped and heartbeat nice and strong. Wow induction Monday, scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

09/06/2008- Baby is here, shes gorgeous, just getting 2 mins until she wakes up. Due to being cut im suffering a bit now as stitches have come loose so going to docs to get stronger meds! Mia also been abit constipated so had to get some suppositries for her, she suffers with terrible wind and has been crying constantly throughout the night although last night was her best night! I still keep looking at her and cant believe shes mine, shes beautiful and she changes everyday, shes already 6 days old!!!! Im abit scared when luke goes back to work im going to feel really lost but im sure i will cope!My milk came in late so we are bottle feeding which i didnt want to do but its been good, shes not feeding on demand and we have a little routine set already for feeds, we are going for pric heal today : - ( I will try get on here as much as poss!!!!

12/06/2008- Had baby blues since birth but starting to perk up a little, prob lack of sleep! Mia starting to sleep better through the night obviously we get up to feed her every 3 hours, sometimes shes sooooo awake and takes ages to get her settled back down, any tips please let me know!Pain killers working so not so sore at moment! Its difficult as 1st time parents as your never sure whats normal and whats not! It takes time though i know! Her cord fell of yesterday!!!!!!!Cant believe shes 9 days old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

17/06/2008- Mia was weighed today shes now 7lb 3oz so packing on the weight nicely!No more midwife visits, all alone now!!!! The health visitor comes friday from now and look forward to the weigh ins at health centre,hopefully get to meet some of the girls from ante natal classes. Better go!!

03/07/2008- Well mia was 4 weeks on tues, shes wonderful, she changes every day. She now smiles and coo's when we talk to her and she knows who we are, shes settled down alot more now and is fine in the evening. She has a crying time between 7-11pm but we were told its prob a bit of colic!Im really enjoying the whole experience, she now weighs 7lbs 11oz and is quite long!Im over the baby blues too which is fab as you do feel pretty low for a while and i was worried i may be developing post natal depression but no outbursts of tears so thats good. I really love being a mum to mia and i love her sooooo much!
