Hi, My name is laura im 22, i live in norfolk with my lovely partner luke 23 and my precious daughter mia. I joined i am pregnant during the early stages of pregnancy and have enjoyed meeting all the new mummys and mummy to be's. I have made many friends and its been good talking to other mums and pregnant women. I have saved all my previous pregnancy notes in my blog as i need to make new space! I would like to have other children eventually but at the moment i want to focus on my little mia

09/06/2008-
Baby is here, shes gorgeous, just getting 2 mins until she wakes up. Due to being cut im suffering a bit now as stitches have come loose so going to docs to get stronger meds! Mia also been abit constipated so had to get some suppositries for her, she suffers with terrible wind and has been crying constantly throughout the night although last night was her best night! I still keep looking at her and cant believe shes mine, shes beautiful and she changes everyday, shes already 6 days old!!!! Im abit scared when luke goes back to work im going to feel really lost but im sure i will cope!My milk came in late so we are bottle feeding which i didnt want to do but its been good, shes not feeding on demand and we have a little routine set already for feeds, we are going for pric heal today : - ( I will try get on here as much as poss!!!!

12/06/2008- Had baby blues since birth but starting to perk up a little, prob lack of sleep! Mia starting to sleep better through the night obviously we get up to feed her every 3 hours, sometimes shes sooooo awake and takes ages to get her settled back down, any tips please let me know!Pain killers working so not so sore at moment! Its difficult as 1st time parents as your never sure whats normal and whats not! It takes time though i know! Her cord fell of yesterday!!!!!!!Cant believe shes 9 days old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

17/06/2008- Mia was weighed today shes now 7lb 3oz so packing on the weight nicely!No more midwife visits, all alone now!!!! The health visitor comes friday from now and look forward to the weigh ins at health centre,hopefully get to meet some of the girls from ante natal classes. Better go!!

03/07/2008- Well mia was 4 weeks on tues, shes wonderful, she changes every day. She now smiles and coo's when we talk to her and she knows who we are, shes settled down alot more now and is fine in the evening. She has a crying time between 7-11pm but we were told its prob a bit of colic!Im really enjoying the whole experience, she now weighs 7lbs 11oz and is quite long!Im over the baby blues too which is fab as you do feel pretty low for a while and i was worried i may be developing post natal depression but no outbursts of tears so thats good. I really love being a mum to mia and i love her sooooo much!

17/07/2008- Mia was 6 weeks on tues, 7 this tues! We finally may have sorted her weight and bowel problems, we had to go to hospital for several things, 1) they thought her head seemed like it had grown a bit fast it was 32.5 when she was born and is 37.2 now, they said it was a little large but she may even out, i had never noticed! If it doesnt we may have to take her to hosp again. They also checked her weight and done some general tests and said that they believe she has a cows milk intolerance so shes on some horrid cheesy tasting milk, it must be working though as she done a big green poo this morning!She was weighed a couple of days ago and is around 8lbs 05oz. She smiles alot now and talks to me, she is great at keeping her head up now and still is grumpy in the evenings, like her daddy!!!!!!!!!!

10/08/2008- Mia will be 10 weeks on tues! Shes doing well now, she sleeps from 8pm until 3 ish then goes from 3.30ish till 6/7am so not bad going. Shes generally a happy baby but has her grumpy times, still in the evening but not for long. She is putting weight on steadily shes not a greedy baby she now weighs just over 9lbs, she weighed 6lbs 8oz when she was born. We are off to cyprus end of sept so she will be able to wear her summer dresses! She can hold her head up quite well, she smiles all the time and coo's and she loves to lay on her tummy in the mornings! Shes even teething already, we noticed we could see all her teeth through her gums, took her to be weighed, mentioned it to health visitor and she said her teeth were moving and may have some teeth by 3 months!

20/08/2008- mia is 11 weeks and 1 day old! She slept 12 hours last night from 6.20pm until 6.30am this morning! I think her teeth are giving her some hassle though and i def think she will have a few by 3/4 months! I get her weighed friday and havent for 2/3 weeks so hoping shes quite a bit over 9lb now! We have been told to add 4 scoops of formula to 100mls to fatten her up although i don't think she will ever be a chubby baby, Shes quite long though!!!!! My mum has her for the day which is nice so i can catch up as you still cant get little bits done like ironing and having a nice bath! she will be 3 months soon, cant believe it and i she would of came on her due date she would of been over 3 months! Shes such a little cutie and at the moment her favourite thing is her taggie!Hope everyone else is doing well, pregnant or mummys!

15/10/2008- Well where do i start, Mia's now 4 months and 3 weeks old! She completely rolled over on holiday and is desperate to crawl! Shes always smiling but like me she has her grumpy days!!!! She has recently developed a temper, maybe a girl thing!? If i take something off her she screams and for a few days she was a nightmare, kept crying every time i left her, shes still a little like it but i think shes doing it as she was use to 2 weeks of attention on holiday. Shes teething at moment so expecting a little tooth to pop through very soon, am i supposed to brush her tooth if she gets one!!!!??? Anyway i seem to have this problem with mia wanting to stand up all the time, shes always been able to support her legs fully and if i hold her hands she can stand perfectly but its a nightmare trying to sit her on my lap and shes trying to stand! Shes loving her meals, was having at least 3 meals a day but cut her down to around 1 or 2 as i think its constipating her : - ( Meant to be going to baby imps next thursday, singing with the babies, ( i wont be singing too loud!) Mias 5 Months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As of 03/11/2008!

Went to baby group and we done a little baby massage which i think mia enjoyed! She went to bed at 7pm so a little earlier than usual, she usually goes at 7.30-8.00pm. Shes so clingy at the moment, cries when i leave the room, cries if im not holding her, its sweet but its driving me mad!She has around 2-3 meals aday and around 4 bottles a day, she has anything from 1 nap to 3 naps a day, although not long ones and still sleeps her 12hrs!Shes still got a little cold at the moment, well shes a little bunged up and still has a little cough, i worry she will be asthmatic as both my sister and i and my mum both have! Shes due for her 4 month jabs, a little late i know but shes been under the weather so they wont do it!Shes still very petite like her mum, shes no more than 13lbs at 5 months i'd say, although havent had her weighed for 2 weeks. Actually i think lukes just woken her up, men hey!!!!!

Mia was 7 months on the 03/01/2009. Shes all up to date as far as her age is going, she sits up well by herself and can sometimes lay then sit up by herself. She hasnt any teeth yet although im always saying ' i think shes teething'. Mias now on the edge of trying to crawl, she will get herself into the position then lose her balance and fall over!!!!! She says dada ALL the time and thats all she says apart from the usual baba!Shes now on 3 meals aday occasional with a desert at tea time, but isnt too interested in her bottle anymore though but tends to drink juice out of her beaker all the time! Oh she can hold her own beaker and when she can be bothered her bottle too!Shes also a bit violent!!!! She pulls my hair, grabs my nose and thinks it great!!! She was last weighed at 14 2oz so still my tiny little doll!!!!I on the other hand feel fine, abit strapped for cash at the moment!!!! Im trying to lose a bit of weight i currently weight 8 stone 3lbs and my bmi is about 22 so would like to lose half a stone although dont think i will lose that on my belly as its all skin!!!!!!

Mia is 9 months now, she will be 10 on the 3rd of April. She sat up at 6 months and She can crawl now, and also pulls herself up to a standing position whenever possible.Desperate to walk!!!!Shes not eating a great deal at moment as shes teething, currently got 2 teeth and more on the way!She says dada,mama and Dog!She will point to her picture in the house and wave, she will blow kisses, hug me and say aaaahhhhh!!She claps her hands and lots more!
