Hi, i am expecting my fourth child. My husband and i planned to have a big family and are really looking forward to the birth of our next baby. Our second daughter Phelicity was born with a severe congenital heart defect, known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and Turners Syndrome. She was born in the USA even though we are Australian, so that she could be operated on and have a chance at life. She started school this year and is doing very well. My other daughters are looking forward to having a new baby in the house also. I hope they feel the same when it cries at night. lol
Week 13, ok well i have gotten this far despite 2 lots of bleeding. This was new for me as it never happened with my other girls. Morning sickness is still hanging on and i can not see that it is going anywhere soon. I had my nuchal and that looked really good. We are not going to go ahead with anymore testing, just the routine ultrasound. I have felt a few little flutters and my tummy is growing. I feel like i have a little ball in my tummy at the moment.
Week 17, went to the hospital for a booking in appointment which took about 45 mins. I have also had another antenatal and the baby was measuring well and the heartbeat was 145. I had another blood test today to see how my thyroid function is going now. The morning sickness has really eased up a lot, i am still vomiting a couple of times a day and feel sick a lot, but i am coping so much better now. I am looking forward to the ultrasound and hopefully finding out what we are having.
