My name is Megan, I'm 32, I work full time (although am on maternity leave for the next year) as well as studying teaching part-time, and am a single mum to a baby BOY, Eddie Soul! I made the decision when I found out I was pregnant to go it alone as I believe it's better to raise a child in a loving, stable environment with one happy parent than with two unhappy parents. I have very supportive parents who adore him, and am looking forward to raising my child to hopefully be a thoughtful, loving, creative, inquisitive and socially aware individual... I am so excited about my future, and the birth of my son is by far the best day of my entire life!!! :)

I have found this site to be a god-send and am so grateful to have built some invaluable online friendships already, and I look forward to sharing the hopes, fears, joys, stories & everything in between with fellow mums and mum's to be! :)

Thanks! I think I'll try it out tonight. The only thing is that he doensn't sleep on his back! He rolls all over the place at night and usually ends up with his rear end up in the air! Which is really cute, though! Haha. I know, time has FLOWN! I cannot believe that our babies are getting soooo big! I love this stage though. They are so active and funny. Just in to eeeeverything! Haha.

Ladies, when do you suggest letting your little one sleep with a blanket at night? Eddie is 10 months today and it gets cold in his room. I try to put him in warm pj's, but his toes and fingers are still cold when I pick him up. Is it too early to let him sleep with a blanket???
