Hello to all fellow mummies! Ive been addicted to this site for months and have finally made an account. Im a mum of 2 beautiful boys, Zachary is 4 on the day on booked for caesar :S and Lachlan is 2 in May! We found out just over a week ago we are expecting a girl which is very exciting for my entire family as my mum has 6 grandsons!! I havent come accross many mums from Australia on here??

Anyway this will do till i dont have a head digging into my rib cage!! OUCH!

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hi there, thankyou for adding me as a friend. I am an aussie too and live in Darwin. We have been here since oct 06. We are originally from Port Lincoln SA. Where abouts in Aus are you if i may ask? Your boys are sooo handsom. I have a 5 year old and a almost 2 year old. I am also pregnant with my 3rd baby. What was it like to go from 2 to 3? I feel a bit scared, silly i know. I'm praying!! the baby is above average in size and i'm actually farther along than the due date we've been going on. I was bumped a week due to an ultrasound, but based on my last cycle I'm due the 1st. Either way, it's not so much that i'm afraid of the surgery it's the inconvenience of it! But either way I look forward to having my baby and holding him and pray that he remains a healthy boy!

hey me too my gums are so sore....my mom told me to use salt with a bit of warm water as a mouth rinse 3 times a day it strenghtens them:) good luck

I'm a dental hygienist, and the description you gave sounds like pregnancy gingivitis. In bad cases, the gums can get really inflamed, red, and swollen. It can make your whole mouth hurt. Gingivitis isn't anything too serious but can lead to infections. You DEFINITELY need to make sure you are flossing after every meal and especially before you go to bed. Getting under the gums with the floss usually helps with the swelling. Also make sure you brush really good. If this doesn't help, I would go to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned.

Hey, I would ask your friend if she minds. If she doesnt and will never have a little girl she'll prob be happy that she can at least call someone that name even if its not her child. I know I would be. :)

I would say tell her you were considering the name and just wanted to make sure it wasnt going to upset her at all if you decided on it. Get her thought on it if shes that good of a friend I'm sure she wont care at all :D good luck!

Hi :)
I know just how you feel! My little man isn't breech but I feel like his feet are permanently wedged against my ribs now and it feels like he's trying to push my ribs and pelvis as far apart as possible! lol
I think he must be feeling a little claustrophobic, there can't be much room left in there. I know it's not really an indicator, but my son (Connor, 4 1/2) was 2 weeks early, so here's hoping! ;)

You're right, there's not many Aussie Mummy's on here. How has your pregnancy been? I can't complain really, but am definately on the countdown now. It'll be nice not to feel quite so heavy!!
