More....

Hi everyone :)

I'm 8 weeks and 6 days pregnant. To be honest it was a huge surprise to find out that we are expecting a child. After I was two days late we took a test as I'm pretty regular... but it was negative. I just figured by body was telling me to relax and take life easy. Only two weeks later, and still no AF. I had sore BB and cramping that had me running to the loo sure AF was coming any minute. It was only when my fiancee told me that my BB's were bigger that I started to wonder. So I took another test and it was positive. Then I took another one the next day.. also positive. After I took the third test I accepted that I am indeed pregnant.

My fiancee took it really well. He was convinced I was pregnant before I even took the frst test.. Funny how he was the one who knew and its my body! Its not the best time for us but we are going to make everything work. We have to as we have a little one on the way.

My parents are really excited and once they got over the shock I think his parents were happy too. Its easier for my parents to accept I think because I am 26. My fiancee is 21.. so i guess people think he is too young. But it doesn't matter, we are going to sacrifice a lot for this baby to give it the best life possible, and it will always be loved. What other people think doesn't concern us.

Anyway... congrats to all of you other expectant mothers. :)

I just had my first ultrasound. Everything is as it should be apart from my uterus tipping the wrong way... that explains all the backache!!
I'm amazed at how accutate I was.. I made it 11wks 6 days. The ultrasound says 11wks 4 days. Only 2 days out!!

Well I thought I should update.. I have had a lot going on in the past month! Had to move back to my parents house with my fiancee. Its been quite stressful getting everything sorted, but its all settling down now :)

I have my ultrasound on Weds, so will update with the news then :)

Well I had the ultrasound on Thursday... Its DEFINATELY a boy. He certainly has all the boy equipment!!

He was a very good boy and let the tech get all of the measurements.... on the downside, that means I don't get to see him again until he is born. Never mind I am starting to feel his little kicks when I lay down at night :o) Oh and my fiancee felt him kick on Thursday for the first time. His face was a picture of happiness and wonder!

I just can't wait now until September!!

I had a bit of a scare last night. I woke up with really bad cramps and such severe scomach pain that I could hardly stand upright. So I phoned the maternity department at the hospital and I had to go in for tests. They don't know what is wrong, but the baby is fine and thats all i care about. They thought it could be some kind of urine infection but couldn't detect one when they tested. On the plus side, when I was laying in the hospital bed I saw my boy kick me through my stomach for the first time :) Its so odd seeing your tummy move from the inside!!

Its been a long time so I thought I should update and let you all know how I'm doing!

I'm getting pretty huge now, and people keep asking me if I'm having twins. Its actually getting pretty annoying. Yes I know I'm huge and I still have a long way to go. You think I don't know that!!!! Arrgggggghhhhhh!!!

Anyway, we have settled in in my parents house and are trying to get back in the swing of living in my parents space again. Its odd after all the time of just living as a couple. But we are greatful that we have somewhere to live so can't complain too much!

The little bump is kicking like a trooper and woke me up for the first time the other night. Then his daddy snored all night and I couldn't sleep again!! Anyway, I will try and update more frequently when I get the chance. Oh - any name suggesteions would be a godsend, we can't seem to agree on ANY at all!!
