Well this thing already pretty much says it all...but im Anna, 20 and from Palmy Nth! Expecting my 1st lil one...and cant wait! Hoping for a girl (Kaitlyn Ellen), Partner wants a boy (Ivan (Van) no middle name pikd yet lol but we will be happy with what ever we get! Was a lil scared @ first but definitly gettin use to the idea especially since i found out my 2 best friends are also expect due one month and one n a half months after me! http://bebo.com/-MuMmY-TuMmY- is my bebo if ne1 wants ta chat! Labour... Well woke up at 4.30am on Saturday the 8th of December with bad pains in my back...didnt think too much of is just thort it was braxton hicks or something...so just tried to go back to sleep...carried on through the day went shopping and visiting...that night at about 8pm it was gettin kind of hard to stand up when the pains came...but waited til 10 and rang my midwife she said i must be in labour but to ring back in 30mins if they got worse..and they did...so i met her at the hospital at 11pm...when we got there she checked me and i was 6cm dialated and my waters hadnt broken yet...so at 1am on the 9th of December she broke the waters now that was a yuck feeling!! and from there the pain was a lil worse so thats when i started using the gas....it drys our mouth out heeps! Anyway after 25 mins of pushing...i had My lil girl Lily Elizabeth at 3.56am on Sunday the 9th of December weighing 8pound 2oz and she is the most beautiful baby girl ever!! I had been so scared of going into labour, giving birth and the pain that would come with it...but honestly i didnt find it that bad at all...nowhere near as bad as people had made it out to be, i think not planning everything and just taking it as it came made it easier! And the little pain and tiredness i did feel all went away when i saw my little Lily for the first time!!! 13 December 2007 Haha well the back pains were something and i had my lil baby girl on Sunday the 9th of December at 3.56 am she is so cute! 08 December 2007 Went to the Midwife on Wednesday and she said babies engaged so now im just waiting for the whole process to start! Finally finished work on Wednesday too which is sooo gooood...i never realised how tired it made me! I didnt get any sleep last night...was waking up every half hour with horrible cramps in my back....i have no idea how i am going to handle the pain of labour :( 03 December 2007 This heat sux...normally i would be enjoying it but not now....i hate swelling its so yuk and uncomfotable i cant wait for it to be over but not long now...its so weird saying im due this month...time has gone soooooo fast! Finish work sometime this week...finally its an effort to walk anywhere! Going to the midwife every week now...last week she couldnt feel babies head so she thinks she might come early....well lets just hope so! 20 November 2007 Well not too long to go now...hmmm...went for my scan today and for now baby is in the right posistion and is weighing around 5lb...and is deffinatly a girl...which im relieved about, i didnt trust the last lady who told me at 20 weeks she wasnt very nice and was quite rushed! Midwife on Thursday will get to see what my bloods were...im sure if there was anything wrong she would have called me by now...so hopfully everything is fine! This heat is so horrible i like the sun...but i hate the swelling and tired feeling all the time it sux :( 12 November 2007 Went to the Midwife on Friday and my tummys measusing 36 weeks no wonder i feel so huge! So now i have to go for a 2 hour glucose test on thursday *sigh* how am i not going to eat til 11 in the morning! And then i get to have another Ultrasound on the 20th...can they still see the babies sex at 35 weeks? or is it too squished in there? hmmm! i hope they can coz i want it double checked! 05 November 2007 Yay her rooms almost all wallpapered and we have the cot all set up and heeps ov cute lil clothes! Kierans mum made the cutest booties and lil sleeping gown! 01 November 2007 Well I havnt written on here in ages....and not too long to go now...and its starting to get uncomfortable its so hard to get any sleep with waking up like 10 times in the night to pee and then taking 1/2 an hour to get comfortable to sleep argh!!! I guess i can handle 7 more weeks of it! Shes jamming her feet in my ribs alot lately and it hurts when she wriggles around!! And now thats its gettin closer...i have changed my mind about names and have no idea what we want to call her! I guess we will know when we see her! i Cant wait!!! 23rd August 2007 Hmmm...Went to the midwife again today...just the usual nothing exciting! Im still confused on the due date haha...midwife still says the 27th even though the scans have said 25th and 20th...so who knows...i think il just go somewhere in the middle? So she says im 22 weeks but am measuring at 25...apparently thats normal as i have a low pubic bone or something like that! I have been feeling her kick on and off for the past couple of weeks which is cool as except i get paranoid when i dont feel her for a day but then the next she will kick hard for ages...so im happy! 2nd August 2007 Well we had our scan today it was cool as baby had moved around yay and they say we are having a...................girl so hopefully they are right about that! Also they changed my due date to 20th of december which makes me pretty much 20 weeks? Anyone know if the dates scans give you are very accurate? because i have no idea I guess babies grow at different rates so who knows lets jus say im due round christmas! 26th July 2007 Saw midwife today, nothing exciting bar hearing the heartbeat again i love hearing that! Saw report from ultrasound and babys growing well...nothing wrong with it that they can see so thats good :) and still patiantly waiting to feel lil bub move! 23 July 2007 Had first ultrasound last Wednesday EDD 25th of December which makes me 18 wkz today and everything seems to be fine! Wanted to find out what bub was but the lazy lil thing was all curled up and wouldnt let us see! Hopefully it rolls over for our next one on 2nd of August! Pregnancy Survey
