Me and my pregnancy

hi there im Chell im 27 and am married to Phil, he is the best man in the world well i think so lol, he really takes care of me, im from somerset in the south west of England, we have a son Harvie who is 6, a new baby Willow and Phil has a daughter Nicola 9 who lives with us.

i have Pcos and found it very hard to conceive, we tried for this baby for 5 years, i was meant to begin fertility treatment in March but somehow 4 days before i was due to start the treatment i found out i had conceived Naturally, we were over the moon, things were not easy from the start, i had a Gastric bypass only 5 months before finding out i was pregnant so the doctors had some concerns that it was too soon after major surgery and didnt think i would be able to carry the baby, then there was the worry that the baby was ectopic and growing in the tube but luckily all was ok things are going well now woohoo.

my pregnancy was awful i had a great first 20 weeks but then became ill picking up alot of infections, from 24 weeks i was in hospital and very nearly lost my life after getting septecemia, i became so week i had to be tube fed for 10 weeks, i was meant to have a c-secion on the 10th october as my consultant felt my body had been through enough i would have been 35 weeks and 5 days but on the 3rd October 2008(34 weeks 5 day) i went into labour but as Willow was breech had to have an emergency c-section, baby willow was born at 7.17pm weighing 4lb 12oz, she had to go to special care as she had problems breathing, and feeding we hope to get her home soon though.

mommyforthe2ndtime - Wednesday, 3 September
I'd say, from experience and from my nursing point of view, as long as your baby is growing you are fine. I lost 40 pounds with my son, who is now 8, and was born at 6lbs 6ozs. Now I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I have lost 21 pounds. My body just works that way, and so far, my doctor says all is well, and my baby is about 3 pounds on the sonogram, right on target! continue your vitamins, for energy, and milk for strong bones and to avoid toothaches!

scan went great !babies heart was beating nicely and was moving around quite a bit he/she looked like they were waving it was really emotional for us both.they gave me a new due date of the 8th march only 1 day over so i won't bother changing my profile.my bloods came back good and my water sample was fine.my appointment at the hospitol was 9 35 am but we didn't get home until 1pm bit it was worth the wait!you know they tell you not to go to the loo before you have your scan?well i nearly couldn't hold it any longer ,i was riggling around like i'd got ants in my pants!i should have got some tena ladys!lol!!!how did your check up go?xxxx

did you get your "bounty"pack?if so what do you get in it ?i'm looking forward to getting mine i've sent off the "emmas diary"form so maybe they will send vouchers or something?.good idea about not buying too many clothes because there can be a big difference between newborn and 0 3 months anyway it will be a good excuse to go shopping once she's born and show her off!!xx

d10awn - Monday, 1 September
i never looked pregnant with ryan and sophie i think that is because i'm tall i would love to have a definate baby bump this time so people don't think is she pregnant or just fat!!?.is willow taking all the goodness from your food hence why you are loosing so much weight or is it to do with your op?.ryan was breech until approx 34 weeks then he turned it was a queer feeling almost making me pass out the midwife said it was him moving round that did it. a friend has just offered us their little boys cot and car seat which i jumped at but asked them if they would hang on to it for a while just in, case have you got everything now?xx

hi there. I was diagnosed with PCOS 8 months ago when i had my u/s after my m/m last october. But i was wondering because i am having AF every month and usually 28-33 day cycle. and as i read the forum on PCOS they usually get 60 to 70 days cycle. I am also using the OPK to detect ovulation and I also get a positive OPK result.I really wanted to get pegnant again after an m/c.
