Me and my pregnancy

hi there im Chell im 27 and am married to Phil, he is the best man in the world well i think so lol, he really takes care of me, im from somerset in the south west of England, we have a son Harvie who is 6, a new baby Willow and Phil has a daughter Nicola 9 who lives with us.

i have Pcos and found it very hard to conceive, we tried for this baby for 5 years, i was meant to begin fertility treatment in March but somehow 4 days before i was due to start the treatment i found out i had conceived Naturally, we were over the moon, things were not easy from the start, i had a Gastric bypass only 5 months before finding out i was pregnant so the doctors had some concerns that it was too soon after major surgery and didnt think i would be able to carry the baby, then there was the worry that the baby was ectopic and growing in the tube but luckily all was ok things are going well now woohoo.

my pregnancy was awful i had a great first 20 weeks but then became ill picking up alot of infections, from 24 weeks i was in hospital and very nearly lost my life after getting septecemia, i became so week i had to be tube fed for 10 weeks, i was meant to have a c-secion on the 10th october as my consultant felt my body had been through enough i would have been 35 weeks and 5 days but on the 3rd October 2008(34 weeks 5 day) i went into labour but as Willow was breech had to have an emergency c-section, baby willow was born at 7.17pm weighing 4lb 12oz, she had to go to special care as she had problems breathing, and feeding we hope to get her home soon though.

hope you're ok arrrh can't wait to feel the baby kicking myself thanks for the suggestion about the taste in my mouth ,it is metally now you mention it ,like you've been chewing on tinfoil !!.whats happened to summer?!? its rained most of the day today ,got wet twice walking the dogs going in the bath now to warm through ttys xx

it's nice to think your giving them the love they deserve and while there part of your life you will be able to keep an eye on them.when they get older they might question their mum about why don't you cuddle us that might give the parents a wake up call before it's too late ?xx

arrr now i do feel mean sounds like they have preety much a free reign at home all kids need rules on how to behave it gives them boundaries i couldn't imagine pushing my kids away it would break my heart sophie still comes for a cuddle now and shes 12 ryan not so often but then at 14 you must be TOO OLD for cuddles!!xx

sounds like your son has the right idea!!maybe you could suggest playing hide and seek ,let them count and you hide in a really good place where they def. won't find you until just before they go home!!!!aaaaaaaaaaar am i being mean?!?! what age are they?

sorry i just signed off with out saying "bye" yesterday my son wanted the computer and more or less turfed me off!!i.I don't think you're being selfish wanting another child it's what you and your hubbie wants that matters ,i guess they're only trying to look out for you because they careand don't want anything to happen to you.it's great that your husband is supportive and gives you plenty of help mines a bit lazy around the house but is great in many other ways(now then!! not what i was thinking!!!!)don't feel so tired today had quite a good nights sleep last nightnot been to see doctor yet when do you think i should go?i went at 7 weeks last time then ended up having a mc just after i don't want to tempt fate?

i don't know how you cope with pain you must be a very strong person it puts all my niggles into perspective you are an insperation!i have sundays and mondays off work this monday i had my driving theroy test and i passed,yay!!i know i'm a bit old to be learning to drive but better late than never!!i've no major preg symptoms apart from being tired and tender bbs part of me would like to have morning sickness as it's supposed to be a good sign but i guess it's still early days yet did you have any symptoms early on?xx

i'm sorry to hear that your in and out of hospital,is your diabetes due to you being pregnant or have you always had it?my husband is diabetic and has to inject himself 4 times a day so i can sort of understand what it's like does it cause you problems at work?because one minute your levels can be good then all of a sudden you can have a low hope you are feeling well today !xx

hi ya! thanks for the message everyones so friendly on here!i'm trying to keep my pregnancy a secret until i reach 12 weeks but it's preety damn hard!!! at least i can chat on here i'm so chuffed!! i had a mc just before xmas at 8 weeks so this time i hope it sticks!can't wait until i'm at your stage(fingers crossed)i feel like i'm pregnant for the first time as my youngest is 12 and will almost be 13 by the time the baby is born(yikes!!)that makes me feel old!sorry to go on as you can tell i have the gift of the gab!!how are you doing?ttyl xx

Yes the kicking really is nice. Alhamdulillah everytime i feel it i know s/he is wel and alive. Im not so anxious anymore. Lol everyweek i used to want to do an u/s just to make sure baby is fine.
