Me and my pregnancy

hi there im Chell im 27 and am married to Phil, he is the best man in the world well i think so lol, he really takes care of me, im from somerset in the south west of England, we have a son Harvie who is 6, a new baby Willow and Phil has a daughter Nicola 9 who lives with us.

i have Pcos and found it very hard to conceive, we tried for this baby for 5 years, i was meant to begin fertility treatment in March but somehow 4 days before i was due to start the treatment i found out i had conceived Naturally, we were over the moon, things were not easy from the start, i had a Gastric bypass only 5 months before finding out i was pregnant so the doctors had some concerns that it was too soon after major surgery and didnt think i would be able to carry the baby, then there was the worry that the baby was ectopic and growing in the tube but luckily all was ok things are going well now woohoo.

my pregnancy was awful i had a great first 20 weeks but then became ill picking up alot of infections, from 24 weeks i was in hospital and very nearly lost my life after getting septecemia, i became so week i had to be tube fed for 10 weeks, i was meant to have a c-secion on the 10th october as my consultant felt my body had been through enough i would have been 35 weeks and 5 days but on the 3rd October 2008(34 weeks 5 day) i went into labour but as Willow was breech had to have an emergency c-section, baby willow was born at 7.17pm weighing 4lb 12oz, she had to go to special care as she had problems breathing, and feeding we hope to get her home soon though.

Thank you sooooo much!!! That is soooo reassuring! I'm always worried and probably will be til the day the baby is born! But to know that your success story is all natural just makes me smile! It makes me feel like evyerthing will be ok (because my conception was also natural and so far things look good). I was never told by my doc that I have diabetes or problems with my blood sugar; is that something I should ask about, or will they have known from the blood work they've taken so far? Thanks again! Please stay in touch!

Im sorry that you have had a long journey to reach here. I also worry alot. Sometimes it can become overwhelming with fear of the unknown. Prayers and supplication to Allah eases my worry and gives me hope.

I posted a message in the PCOS forum. Please read! It is sooo refreshing to see that you have made it to 17 weeks! I've been using progesterone (and tonight is my last night) because my levels dropped around 5 weeks. I just recently began getting over the m/c obsession but then I started reading up on PCOS and the higher risk of m/c associated with women who have it...I was told there was a possbility for me to have it when I was about 22.....now, I'm terrified, but seeing that you have made it thus far is great to hear! Do you have to take any medication to maintain the pregnancy, or is everything working on its own? Any reassurance would be wonderful! Congratulations and God bless!

You really aren't the only one I've worried and I was just leaving an answer for some one that is still worried at 28 weeks. She seems very concerned too.
A warm bath should help! I do that every day almost, I never thought of that!
I read and it helps to releave stress too. Even if it's only Cosmo. Hang in there and if it continues see your doc! Hugs!

i had a look at your VIP site and it says you had surgery recently- just so long as the pain isn't coming from the area of your surgical incision- hopefully it isn't related to accidently popping stitches or anything.

Thank you, I am going to try that :)
