Hi, My name is gabrielle Lynn and found out i was pregnant just before christmas 2008!!what a shock!!

My partner and i are so excited now though!!cant beleive im going into the third trimester!!how fast has this gone!!

To make things even better its now less than 2 months until i go on maternity leave on 21 june!! YAY!!!

Throughout this whole pregnancy ive been a nervous wreck!!every little twinge i get i want to run to the doctors to get it checked!!I am a nightmare!!

Though the aches and the pains and emotions can be tough i am enjoying the experiance of becomeing a mum more than anything and i cant wait for my little bundle of joy to be here!!!

You should have another check up at around 32wks and they do do classes there on a Saturday afternoon!!!! Would have thought you could enquire when you book in. I don't think you will have a growth scan unless you are having problems in your pregnancy but they may do a full check and scan when you book in. Hope this helps, take care xxx

Oh i see lol!!! I'm doing great had a check up at the hospital today and had a growth scan and everything seem good. I know what you mean abouth the Heath and that they are soooo not as nice as Royal Glam!!!!! I went to the Heath once when i was having my son and never went back hehe.My mother in law is a midwife at the Royal Glam her name is June Symes is she your midwife or do you know her???? Anyways hope you and baby are doing well take care and i'll speak to you soon xxxx

I have eaten pineapple many times throughout my pregnancy and have never heard that it is unhealthy. It is a really sweet friun though, espceially if it is fresh pineapple, so maybe you just ate too much and it is not agreeing with your stomach. Maybe try eating a few crackers and having some ginger ale. Hope you feel better!

Hi I've just looked on the internet about eating pineapples while pregnant. It said that some people believe that eating pineapple or papaya contains a certain enzyme that can cause abortion/miscarriage. However it says that there is absolutely NO scientific proof that this happens. It is a fruit and is natural and is used in an everyday healthy diet. Maybe you just ate a bit too much, I know that if i eat a lot I start to feel a bit queasy and get heartburn!

not to worry, i am 5'10 and a size 6. with my first pregnancy i didnt gain any weight or look pregnant till the very last two months. this time around since my belly has already been stretched i popped out a few weeks ago but am still able to wear most of my regular clothes. by 21 weeks i had only gained 1 lb. and then all of a sudden, BAM! i gained 7 lbs in 4 weeks. it will creep up on you when you least expect it! good luck and congrads!

Hey there and welcome! I understand exactly how you feel! I am barely showing too. I had a big stomach before I got pregnant and whenever I pushed it out, i could make it look like a baby belly. But Now I haven't gained any weight, I have a little bump and all my clothes fit. A girl at my job is a month behind me and she looks waaay more pregnant than I. But oh well, at least i don't have to spend tons of $$$ on maternity clothes! Take Care! The bump will be here within the next two months!

Being as tall as you are it's not surprising that you're not showing much. My good friend is 5'8" and we were just laughing the other day looking at her old shower pictures. I look as big now as she did at 8 1/2 months! I'm only 5'4", so the baby has nowhere to go but out! Don't worry, your long torso just gives baby room to grow up instead of out. She never got stretch marks on her belly, so there is another good reason to be glad for your height. As far as the gender thing goes, I have yet to find any old wives tale about gender prediction that works.
