Hello Ladies! I am 29 years old, married to my wonderful husband for 3 years and have a beautiful baby boy Isaac born Feb 13th. He is a charmer, and a mover! From about 17 weeks on, all he has wanted to do is move. The first day we had him home from the hospital he nearly climbed off the change table! He has more then stolen my heart over the last 4 months and I love to watch him grow and learn everyday. I live in Ontario, so I am taking a year off to enjoy every moment!

I don't think it is that bad to soothe him a little. I sometimes rub Isaac's back just to relax him, and I don't have any problems with him waking during the night. And that is great that it was only 5 mins. See it gets better! And there isn't much you can do about the tummy sleeping... I flipped Isaac over for about a week, but realized it was futile! Now when I put him down, he immediately flips onto his tummy and then settles.
It is a good thing that he doesn't have teeth yet. He will learn how to self settle, and when he does cut teeth it won't be as bad. I only needed to give him some tylenol two nights, and there was only one wake up at 3am, which he went right back down after the tylenol.
Once they can wriggle it is all over. I am always amazed at how fast babies pick up on things. Once they do something once it is like they have done it a million times!

Thanks for the good luck wish. I'll find out next week if I got the job. I sure hope so, but there is another girl that works at another branch who applied as well and it can go either way! I should have made them feel guilty and told them Riley needs formula and I can't afford it unless I get the job! lol! just kidding. :)

well last night I was looking at my profile information and it said under region that I was from Ontario (which I am) and that I lived in Ottawa. But I never put that there. It's so weird, I am from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario but now live in Edmonton. I took off that info, I only noticed it last night so I wonder how long it was there and how it got there.

But yes, I LOVE poutine...the Soo is huge on poutine. There's this place there called west side cafe and they specialize in different types. Bacon and cheddar cheese, swiss cheese w/ mushrooms, etc. It's super yummy

oh yes he was huge...they told me 8lb 3 oz a week before on mylast ultrasound!!! he was also 2 weeks early...but i pushed him out!!! andhe ruined me!!lol... your son is adorbale too!!!

We did enjoy the zoo! Owen didn't really take much notice of the animals but we went with friends of ours who have two girls that had a blast so it was fun!! It sucks that we don't have one on PEI and we have to drive to Moncton for it but that gave me an excuse to go to the mall there too!!

hey how are you? it's fine for them not to poop for a couple of days, Caden only poos every 3 days now that he's on solids ....if he's uncomfortable then he's prob constipated but if not it's fine! Banana can constipate as well as rice cereals.

hey there.....I've been on vacation so I just saw your comment about sleeping on the belly and rolling. I leave her when she's on her tummy now, I would only wake her up if I tried to roll her every time. And she puts herself on her tummy SO FAST all on her own. At first it bothered me alot, I would check on her constantly. But I bought the Angelcare monitor - the one with the pad that senses movement. I know it does not prevent anything from happening, but at least I don't feel I have to check on her all the time to make sure she's ok now. How old is Isaac now? The older they get the less I worry.

Ya it really suckd...especially since he slept in til 7am yesterday!! He had a 2 hr nap at 9 and now is just waking up from a 1hr nap and it is only 12!! Long old day it will be!! He is going to sleep great and stays asleep until about 5am and usually goes in and out of sleep for a bit but not this morning!!

LOL, they have a connection between them! I hope you find a good carseat! The one that Tanner will eventually go in can face backward, for right now he seems to be ok in his carrier, I never thought of switching him to that one, know you got me thinking! LOL
